Breakfast is good with nice selection of pastries, cereals, and hot foods. Coffee and juice. Cold foods yogurt and boiled eggs. Nice seating veranda area outside with couple tables and chairs and padded couch seating as well. Nice pool area and water was nice and clean. Charcoal grill is available, but we took our own and actually left it with the property as we visit several times a year. It was a nice little grill , but inexpensive, so we left it for other patrons to enjoy.

Walls are kinda thin and you can hear next door or upstairs patrons at times if it is noisy. Pets possibly etc, but this is not a deal breaker for us. We have not had terrible problems with the issue. We had an issue with bathroom area light not working this trip that was fixed same day.

The breakfast is awesome, lots to choose from and the rooms are very nice and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of space inside.

Clean hotel with great service. Great location. Mon-Thurs each guest gets two free alcoholic drinks with an appetizer. Looks like a regular motel from outside but was all we needed to have a great stay. They also rent out golf carts for $200 for a whole weekend which is way cheaper than other cart rentals around. If youre looking for something boujee this isnt your place, but if youre looking for a great budget stay this is PERFECT for a good getaway.

Only thing was the mini fridge wasnt very cold, but it kept drinks kind of cool. And i wouldnt rely on the microwave either but not a big deal for our 3 night trip.

Great location in Port Aransas. Close drive to the beach. Walking distance to several tourist/surf shops and restaurants. Motel with spacious rooms and renovated/wooden floors. Clean (no mold, which is great, considering hurricane damages and constant humidity that are common in the area). Weekdays they offer a complimentary happy hour.

Nothing to complain. Great price for value.

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at this location. The 1st was when it was Red Roof. The location is within walking distance to the shops, restaurants, gas station, and most importantly, the beach. I really enjoyed the pool area with separate seating sections. The pool is the reason I chose to book at Oceans Edge, and the pool hours. 9am to midnight. Idk if the hours are seasonal. They also offer breakfast and it's included in the stay, I didn't get a chance to try it but it's always nice. Rooms are clean and decent size, they're not cramped at all!! This is my go to hotel stay in Port A!

The bath towels are so small!

We liked many features: cleanliness of the room, bath, and facilities in general. The room is basic, not a lot of storage for luggage but design of hanging space w/luggage rack took care of most things. Room had coffee supplies, ironing board and hair dryer. Bed was comfortable. We appreciated staff members. Everyone, from Gabrielle at the desk to grounds and housekeeping staff, was kind, pleasant, and efficient. Breakfast was hot with many options; evening happy hour offered 2 beverages per person and snacks. We loved the little pool--so clean and refreshing. From our room the site was quiet. Finally, others have commented on the great location. For us, post-season was a perfect time to visit. We'd return.

We have stayed here numerous times, and always hope it's still "as good as before"! We had a very clean room, towels and linens stain Free... bed comfortable! The breakfasts were all a little different with enough choices to find something you like. Ms. Beth kept the eating area clean! The mid-week prices totally beat other local motels. The staff is friendly and helpful in finding good restaurants for dinner, or lunch. Give 'em a try.. you'll be pleased, we think!

We encountered no issues. Even the other guests we met were polite... and, no loud parties going on!

Good location. All within view and a short walk: bakery, candy store, snow cones, souvenir shops & boutiques, kite shop, paint your own ceramic shop, tackle & bait shop, Whataburger, gas station, CVS. OE serves a hot breakfast until 10am. Staff was always around, easily reachable & quick to respond. Beds are comfy, rooms are clean and smell fresh, a/c gets cold. Dominoes Pizza delivers until midnight and easily found our room. The little gated area for dogs is nice also.

Pool has no after dark lighting under water and the lights surrounding the pool are not bright enough to see under the water. No hot tub and pool is not heated. No ice machine that I could find. There is free WiFi, but it wasn’t very strong so I could get on it just a couple times during my stay.

We went as a four 2 +2 kids and its opposite to GOkart and rooms are tidy and any issue / concern they address immediately!!!!!!!!!!!! which is AWESOME !! I would go back if i m visiting port aransas again .which ever tourist spot u wanted to go its 0.7 miles !!! museum , art center, ocean ,candy shop, shopping center, groceries, ice cream shop, even dollar tree , cvs etc all walkable and easy access if you are not with kids can enjoy walk on road to all places! with kids its safe but we can cover only fw places in my case. Breakfast was awesome!!!!!!!! i would rate more than 5 star hotel and its FREE!!! we can make waffle also along with theirs(roasted potatoes , non veg option , omelet, bagels , yogurt, juice ,milk etc!!) . I didn't know on first day but i tried next day :-p I m happy with food and my spouse with stay :-p so all in all its perfect stay and worth every single penny!! they maintain the room in same way as photo and outside view its good !! and i saw them cleaning often outside tooo!! I got ground floor . so no stairs:)

If there is any problem they always hear us , answer us and provide solution !! so i dont have any complaint in here !! they did best !! I m happpy with the way they are managing now!! Wish them more luck and prosper!!

Breakfast was good. And the Happy Hour a bonus! Appreciated it being pet friendly.

Susie (spouse) answering this survey. That we arrived there early (2:30)… . With car trouble, so we didn’t want to drive around. Room was ready but was told would be a $25 early check in fee or come back in an hour. I have arthritis in my knees so didn’t want to walk for an hour…. Sat outside our room in broke car for an hour. Then, I had made reservation in my husband’s name & was told he had to come in to check in… we have same last name, credit card, I had confirmation on paper & my phone… so the start of our first stay there wasn’t looking good. After that, all ok… but might want to be a little more flexible 😉
