We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved the pool and bbq area and the library was such a great bonus. The staff were all very pleasant. Breakfast was good and had nice options. Loved having coffee, tea and hot chocolate available. The location is a short drive from the ferry and to the beach.

very clean, all workers were very friendly and helpful. housekeeping even loaned us a broom so w we could sweep sand out of our rental car. Pop was warm (one of the few outdoor pools that was heated!) so we used it a lot. breakfast was fantastic—eggs, meats, tortillas, waffles, cereal, yogurt, English muffins, gravy, fresh fruit!

a little isolated, but what can you expect on the end of a sand bar? 😛

Small quaint little place, tucked away right by the Pier/Beach. Hotel staff was nice and kind. We were only there for not even the whole day, we had to head back into San Antonio for business that same day (booo) we wanted to stay overnight. I definitely will be returning here just cause it’s super close, convenient, decent price for the stay!!! I believe they have continental breakfast as well. All n All great for the price…

It didn’t really bother me but ice machine was out of service (my gf loves to eat ice) so she’s the one that was bummed out.

Pool was great, it was heated, so we could come back from the beach and continue the fun. Easily walkable to the beach. Rooms were well equipped with a fairly full kitchen. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was well designed. Staff went out of their way to reunite a lost bag with my 10 year old, so extremely happy with the service. Breakfast was well stocked, with lovely staff. Even a secondhand bookshop, where you could swap a book.

Only grumble was that our fridge made a slight knocking noise.

The room was clean and comfortable. When I checked in I was given the option of first or second floor and chose first floor. we were given a room at the very end and enjoyed a quiet weekend. And I’d course, the breakfast each morning was phenomenal!

They serve a great breakfast! They accommodated us on a booking error. They're dead center in the middle of town with super easy access to any and everything!

Ok, so to be clear this was the only time we experienced this.....we had a problem with water bugs in our room. They look like big juicy cockroaches.....and my girls almost wanted to leave and stay elsewhere. We love BW port A ...so hopefully they can get the property treated and fix this issue.

We loved our stay here!! The property was clean, plenty of space for my family of six, the customer service was exceptional! The gals who cleaned our room decorated the kids beds with their little plush stuffed animals. Made it really special. They loved that. All the little details. Such a blessing to stay here. Super great breakfast and super close to everything.

I was very nervous because it was so affordable for the weekend. This location exceeded my expectations. It was very very nice, great staff, incredible breakfast options! We walked to the beach and dinner so great location.

We had an awesome 5 night stay at this hotel. Front desk and housekeeping staff are amazingly kind and friendly. Room was very spacious and immaculately clean. Comfortable beds. Pool is 90° and perfect for evening swimming. Super close to the beach. Breakfast was good everyday. Lots of items to choose from. Next time we are in Port A, we will definitely stay here again! Thank you for helping us have a wonderful Spring Break.

Only bad was the breakfast attendant, she was not friendly but because everyone else made it such a good experience we highly recommend staying here.

Pool bottom is looking a bit worn. We told an employee about a dozen bits of a plastic bag on the bottom. She hunted up a strainer and removed them. Breakfast areas was clean and neat. Happy employee was right there to clean and refill. I enjoyed the pool because it was long enough and deep enough to do my kind of laps. Location near beach and near businesses. Nicely quiet.

I would have liked a rug near the front door to wipe my shoes on.
