The staff was very helpful despite our language barrier. Checkin was quick and easy. The views from the hotel were amazing.

The rooms could use spraying for bugs. We had 2 spiders in the room, but to they kept to themselves and we just left them alone haha Other than that, the room was great. One thing I will add, everything in the town was closed. So I couldn't do a lot of the stuff I had hoped to do. Of course this wasn't a fault of the staff or the hotel--just poor planning on my part.

Large room with a beautiful view, nicely furnished. Wonderful Onsen - beautiful outside bath, calm, nice. Nice strolling garden with a view of Fuji.

Expensive breakfast in large and impersonal dining room, not cozy at all. The street outside is busy but did not disturb us in the room even though we had a room facing the lake (ie facing the street).

Roger at reception could not do enough to help with my stay. From restaurant suggestions to onsen use the team were great

Pros - The aesthetic view of Mt Fuji at sunset and dawn. The hot spa bath. The closeness to Lake Yamanakako. The hotel's energy saving policy. The helpfulness of the staff. The reasonable cost of the room. The nearness of the bus stop's location to the hotel's reception. The peaceful quiet within the hotel. The access to drinks. The ease of the Wi-Fi connection.

Cons - No breakfast included in the hotel. No dinner included in the hotel, but there were a number of good cafes and restaurants nearby. No BBC TV channels. No English speaking TV channels. No English speaking radio, but the wi-fi worked well for world webpages.

It is a great property; neat and clean, at a good location as well. You will get a nice view of Lake Yamanakako or Mt Fuji from the room. Our stay was very pleasant and comfortable. There was a nice onsen.

The main thing I missed that the restaurant inside the hotel. They said it is closed! It would have been great if we had some options for food and beverages.

I loved the location, it was easy to access with the Highway Bus. I had the best views of Mt Fuji from my window in the morning. Totally worth the extra price for a mountain view. Onsen was nice as well. They have a Western/Japanese style open buffet breakfast, which was not bad.

Overall it was a bit expensive, and the buidling was covered and I mean literally covered in spiders!

The view of Mt.Fuji from our room was amazing, glad the weather was clear. The bath was awesome 👌 The Japanese style part of the room was perfect to relax in, we loved the tatami and the big window. The beds were very comfortable as well.

The window in the bathroom had condensation so the view of Fuji was not perfect but nothing the hotel can do about that. Perhaps check out at 11am would be better to make the morning more relaxing. The only issue was weak wifi but it gave us the opportunity to disconnect and enjoy ourselves.

Awesome stay here at this lovely hotel. We loved the on sen facilities and friendly staff. There are also a good variety of nearby restaurants to choose from. Best of all, when the sun is out and the clouds clear, you get a priceless view of Mt Fuji. Priceless!

Excellent location along the western side of the lake. Bus stop right out the front of the hotel, which is important because they come sparingly. Easy walking distance to multiple restaurants and convenience store. Incredible bakery 5 minutes walk away.

Everything was good - decent size rooms, great location - great view on Mt. Fuji and lake, free parking, good breakfast for recent price, rooms very clean, have laundry corner! Staff friendly, all good!
