Where to begin? Firstly, we want to express our immense gratitude to Meriem for considering all the requirements my friend and I had regarding our room. Her professionalism and dedication to the hotel's clientele significantly contributed to making our stay at the Maldron exhilarating, largely due to her attentive care. The room, remarkably spacious and situated on the hotel's top floor with an impressive city view, was an absolute delight. Its impeccable cleanliness and regular upkeep speak volumes about the remarkable work of the housekeeping staff. Speaking of our excellent stay at the Maldron, it would be incomplete without praising the exceptional professionalism and thoughtful demeanor of Anthony. His presence filled with kindness, warm welcome, and rare elegance in the hospitality industry left an indelible mark on our stay. Every interaction with him was a paragon of exemplary service, combining both a deep knowledge of his profession and an authenticity that deeply resonated with us. His commitment to the excellence of customer service is admirable and undeniably elevated our experience to an exceptional level. A huge thank you to Anthony for making our stay so memorable and rewarding. Finally, a huge thank you to Zac, whose exemplary courtesy, affable politeness, and knack for conversation transformed our moments at the bar into unforgettable experiences. His ability to create a relaxed atmosphere while delivering sumptuous cocktails was simply remarkable. Every interaction with Zac was more than just a service: it was an engaging and enriching experience. His kindness and welcoming nature were key elements that added a special touch to our stay. A sincere thank you to Zac for making our evenings at the bar so enjoyable and memorable. In conclusion, our renewed love for Manchester, for the second time, is largely because we knew that at the end of our days of exploration (or parties!

Honestly, I could not have asked for more on a trip for my 30th birthday. Lovely welcoming staff and the rooms were stunning. I'm a gal that usually goes to a Premier Inn so it quite genuinely blew me away to see how slinky, sleek and stylish the whole place was. Gorgeous breakfast! Great staff! (Receptionist with the cateye frames; you were fabulous!) There's enough elevators where you aren't stuck if you're on a high floor. The Executive Suite bed was *divine*! The whole place was clean. I booked a little celebration package with a banner and balloons and it was a magical experience. (I even brought my heart balloon home with me on the train and it stayed floating at my house for another 3 weeks!) High quality and so so appreciated, please don't be afraid to email them ahead of your trip if you'd like to make it extra special. The attention to detail and the care taken towards guests is truly second to none.
Nothing!

Location was brilliant, was close enough to go out and yet in a location not to be disturbed when sleeping. Breakfast was lovely and there was plenty of choices. The staff were so friendly, helpful and went above and beyond. I have to give a special mention to Luca in reception and Joe at the bar. They were so friendly to us and so helpful. Luca is a breath of fresh air and as a first point of contact all.I can say is that your hotel is so so lucky, she's genuinely a really lovely person, full of smiles and help, makes a massive difference. Joe was again so friendly, sound young lad, my son is a massive football fan and was great that Joe was so approachable and engaging. The hotel was clean, nice vibe in the bar and that's alot down to how staff are. Thanks so much for a really enjoyable stay
Can't think of a thing🤗

This was a repeat visit after a positive experience last year. As before, this is a great hotel - ideally located, clean, professional and helpful staff, comfortable and very quiet given that it was almost probably fully booked as two sell-out concerts were taking place that night we were there. The breakfasts are varied, check in/out works very well online, the coffees in the lounge were wonderful, and a special mention to the two members of the breakfast team (sorry, didn't get either of your names) who were very attentive and conversational. We'll be back again!
n/a - all went well. No issues or concerns.

The staff are very friendly and approachable. They are prompt when helping answering my quires and helpful during my checkout. The room was clean and tidy with all the amenities you'd expect. The breakfast was fine with a good selection of things to choose from. Finally, the location was excellent, with it being close to the train station for easy travel across the town. Overall, my stay was great.
With it being snowy weather these last couple of days, I wish was able to set a temperature on the room thermostat without it turning off every couple of hours as the room, at some points, did turn uncomfortably cold. The on-site gym was a welcome addition however the size of the space would likely only accommodate a few people at most. Wish it was larger but happy it's open 24-hours.

Great location, many cafes and restaurants adjacent or within short walking distance. Rooms & cafe very clean with modern furnishings. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Secure ticketed luggage storage upon check-out was very convenient so we could make the most of our day before heading to the airport. Train station is virtually across the road. Room was quiet and heard no noise from street or traffic. Would stay again.
We were given an accessible room without being told. Although this was likely an upgrade in terms of how spacious the room was, in other ways we found aspects of the room inconvenient -placement of light switches, mirrors, lighting and shelving were at different height / location and became noticeably inconvenient after several days. Only to say, next time upon check-in I would confirm the room type.

Being disabled I had requested a room near a lift. I was amazed and relieved that reception gave me a room to fill in advising me what to do in the event of a fire. I must add that this is the first time I’ve been presented with a form like this and I’d like it put on record that this hotel group obviously take its health and safety of its guests and staff very seriously. Well done Maldron group! At breakfast there was a team member who offered to collect my choice of food, coffee, juice and toast. The same guy was vey attentive and returned to see if I needed a refill of coffee and juice. Later while waiting for a taxi the same gentleman who was now behind the bar asked if he could get me a coffee or a glass of water. When I said I was waiting for a taxi he offered to keep an eye out for the taxi. Outstanding customer service Maldron!
I had booked an early check in which didn’t happen however, because I had requested a room near a lift I’m willing to overlook this.

Didn't have breakfast. Location great. Wifi worked well. Dinner in the restaurant was good and the service was great.
Our car was broken into in the Pritchard Street carpark, and the drivers door window was smashed. This caused all sorts of problems for our return journey and the damage still needs to be fixed. Reception didn't seem particularly interested beyond googling a few car repair places. They certainly didn't take any details about which car, what had happened and so on. To be honest, Maldron should arrange a parking arrangement with a nearby multistorey carpark with proper security. We visit Manchester regularly but if the Maldron doesn't get a better parking arrangement, we probably won't stay there again.

Location perfect for the Palace Theatre and Oxford Rd station (2-3min walk round the corner). 10min walk down main road to Alberts Schloss/Dirty Martini etc. Staff very friendly and helpful. Modern, clean and comfortable. Excellent value, especially if parking a car overnight aswell and given it was boxing day. Complimentary bottles of water/biscuits were a lovely touch and appreciated following morning. This will definitely be my go-to if i need to stay in Manchester again.
I personally like a bath and only had a shower, however this was an exceptionally clean, modern large walk in that i couldnt fault. I didnt experience the breakfast so can't comment on that.

The location is excellent and for the price was very reasonable; I had stayed with Maldron before in Manchester and Glasgow and knew what to expect from the chain.
The online check-in misfired and I was charged twice for doing this. When I arrived there were queues of people who didn't understand how to access their room cards - meaning the whole 'time saving' aspect of pre-arrival check-in was useless. Please consider scrapping of improving this. The reception staff were lovely and very professional, despite the system clearly making their jobs difficult. The receptionist immediately clocked that I'd overpaid and filled in a reimbursement form for me but as a result of this experience I wouldn't stay in the Maldron again.
