Excellent location, very central. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed and very well equipped room and kitchenette. Nice toiletries in the bathroom. The free hot drinks machine was available all day - nice in the cold weather to be able to grab a hot chocolate when you get back from a day's exploring. The croissants laid on at breakfast time were very tasty.

Decor in the room was looking a little tired and could do with a refresh (stains on the window blinds and carpets, chipped worktops in the kitchen etc) but nothing to stop us recommending the hotel.

The staff was helpful and resolved an issue with a broken toaster immediately. There are croissants free of charge for breakfast every morning. Th bathroom was the best I’ve experienced in England so far. The rooms are cozy, with everything you need.

The hotel is on a busy street so you definitely need a pair of earplugs to have a good night’s sleep. Plus, there was some strange clicking noise going out of the air conditioning, which got louder at night. The windows won’t open so that’s why you need AC at 14 degrees Celsius . The lift didn’t work so it was a nice stretch every day to climb up to the 4th floor.

It was one of the most comfortable stays for me and my parents as the room was so spacious and you could so many things on the premise such as cook and laundry. The kitchen was fully equipped and the bathroom was amazing because there was a TV in the bathtub. Also it's a walking distance from coach, train and tram stations + all the landmarks in Manchester. When we checked out, Rajaa was really helpful and friendly during our departure from the hotel - it was sweet she even offered to bring out some freshly baked pastries for us! Overall we loved our stay here.

Nothing much to say honestly but if you're staying less than 2 nights, there won't be housekeeping so be aware of that.

I took my partner for a theatre break, we arrived straight after work to drop our bags off. We parked at Q-park as recommended, which was literally next door so very handy. The staff were lovely and helpful and told us our room had been upgraded at no extra cost. Our room was spacious and bright, great facilities such as the kitchen area, iron, hairdryer, separate shower room and toilet and classy decor. We were also 10 mins away from the Opera House Theatre, so ideal location. After the show we were able to have a few drinks and food locally as there are plenty of nice bars and restaurants around. Very close to China Town, so plenty of Oriental options too. The stay was quiet (always appreciated for us oldies!) and came with free croissants and coffee selection for breakfast (available to eat in or take out) Late check out was also available at a very reasonable cost, however, we had book some other suggested activities (Boat tour and City scavenger hunt) which again where all very close. We chose to walk as the weather was surprisingly pleasant and we wanted to look around, but local transport was readily available. I would highly recommend and will definitely be returning for our next Manchester visit. Thank you. X

Not much really, the freezer door in our fridge was a little dodgy, but not a game changer. And we forgot to tell the staff.

Great area everything is pretty central to where we were staying, staff were lovely and helpful if needed. Room was clean and tidy. Free coffee and Croissants in the morning offered to guests never tried either but looked good. Bed was comfortable and air con was good as you can't open any of the windows.

I think the only drawback to the Grand Studio we booked was there is no door to the open area bathroom. As you walk in the shower has a shower curtain and the wash basin faces the shower and then you have the toilet, only a partial wall keeps you covered from anyone in the room with you. My 14 year old daughter felt this quite awkward.

First impression was clean tidy very modern check in was quick and simple Room was immaculate with everything you would need and more hotplates kettle toaster microwave fridge and dishwasher also a hairdryer in the bathroom. Bathroom was modern with a rainfall shower! Bed was very comfy with the TV at the end of the bed on a desk, room was in the basement and was so silent you could hear a pin drop

Unfortunately for my trip the lifts were not working but when I explained about not being able to climb multiple flights of stairs the lady quickly rallied and gave me a room in the basement Where the mirror was positioned by the wardrobe made it difficult to see as a column holding the ceiling up cast a shadow so made it difficult for make up however light in bathroom was very bright but being 5ft 1in was difficult to see because I couldn't get close enough to the mirror which is really a me problem!

stayed in the loft apartment, very well stocked, staff very nice. very spacious. loved the tv in the bathroom element. bed was really comfy, kitchen and bathrooms really clean. Nice touches to make your stay more homily

there was a cigarette dimp under the coffee table that had been missed from previous guests. cracks in the tiles and the water pressure was very slow when running hot water, sky light blinds nailed shut and the side windows was really dirty, but didn't ruin the experience, I'd stay again and the pros outweighed the cons.

Paid for an upgrade mainly for the tv in the bath but it didn’t work. We managed to get it on once but couldn’t change the channel or turn it off. Room key Locked us out on several occasions meaning we had to go reset the card at reception, once is fair enough but was at least 4 times…. And could have been cleaner, dropped something under bath and was filthy.

I have stayed here previously. A very large and comfortable room, corner position, so windows on both sides (room 204). Plenty of space and ample room for hanging clothes etc. Well equipped kitchen although I never used the stove or microwave. Breakfast was adequate for my requirements, plenty of coffee/tea and croissants. A few days prior to arrival I managed to get this room, better than my original booking, and cost less! The hotel It is in a great location, very close to Chinatown, albeit at a very busy road junction with lots of traffic but, that said, I could not hear much noise. I will certainly stay here again in the future.

Just very small points, none of which spoiled my stay. The bathroom is great, but I am not a fan of shower curtains, full glass doors would have made it look much more stylish and also the toilet seat was quite "wobbly". There is a very small but bright blue light located just above the skirting board near the bathroom. At night this light is reflected back off the mirror. I really could not work out how to turn this off, in the end I had to move the pedal bin across to try and stop it shining onto the mirror. I assume it is some type of "safety guide light" for the bathroom. I was unable to open any windows for fresh air, all the windows seem to be secondary double glazing types. These are the only reasons why I have deducted a point from my score.

This hotel is very cool! So, my man and me booked a Loft apartment for valentine's day. We had excellent correspondence with the team, as when we asked for a room with a bath, they replied with of course you can. That's brilliant service. Unfortunately we couldn't stay on valentine's day due to maintenance issues, but we were offered alternative accommodation. We decided to not go to the alternative place. But, the manager has given us a complementary stay in one of the loft apartments with early check in and late check out. That is great customer service! We can't wait to stay now 😊
