Really comfortable, quiet and cosy. Good bar and restaurant area, good food. Staff were really friendly. We came with our dog , and were able to have our meals with the dog in the bar area. Other things we liked: good water pressure , comfy beds. Staff sent us an item home that we wanted had forgotten in the room at checkout day. The location is also really handy for Windsor Castle, Eton and Town Centre. There is a park right by the hotel , and we could walk the dog there easily. There is a car park at the back of the hotel , also 👍🏻 All in all, we would definitely recommend this hotel .

A very enjoyable 3 night stay at the historic hotel ,the bed was super comfy and large and the tv was XL size, heating was needed and it was just right, shower was good quality. Staff were friendly , mostly warm and approachable . Breakfast was very enjoyable a decent choice and good quality . We had 2 evening meals there , both were decent portions and well cooked. Only minor quibble , beer was only available in a bottle. It's about a 15 minute leisurely stroll in to town and parking is available for £20.00 daily. A couple of extras were really special for me , a free daily newspaper and 2 complimentary drinks ,nice touches I thought overall price a little steep but factoring in breakfasts and the freebies we felt the price was just about satisfactory.

Nothing to dislike , minor quibble only bottled ale available, otherwise staff and quality of food and bedroom made it an enjoyable stay

The hotel is in a fantastic location in Windsor and the hotel is well cared for in terms of cleanliness and upkeep. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. You get a free drink on arrival which is a nice touch. The bed was comfortable albeit I couldn’t quite get comfy on the pillow (but I’m very fussy!), so a plus. The room was clean and well appointed. Breakfast was quick and decent and the staff were attentive and friendly. Overall a good stay. Would recommend if you want to be in Windsor and want a nice hotel to base your trip

Maybe a bit expensive for what the hotel is, but as it is in the middle of Windsor, so appreciate this puts the price up 👍🏻

Lovely breakfast, free newspaper and drink on arrival, a very nice touch. Complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits and water in room. Lovely décor throughout

Unfortunately we had to change rooms during our stay as there was a problem with the water. Our original room was lovely with the sun shining through the windows all day. (I am a sun lover). We had a small bedside set of drawers at each side of the bed that were very handy for small items of clothing etc. Our new room, although an upgrade, was not as nice in my opinion. It felt cold and didn’t get any sun. There were also no drawers in the room so had nowhere to put all my bits and pieces. Obviously this is just my opinion, and for someone who likes a cool bedroom, this would be perfect, it could equally be said that the first room was too hot for many people.

A very quaint cute boutique hotel. Loads of charm and personality. Decorated beautifully and very cozy. Beautiful rooms and our shower was amazing. The offering of a free beverage in their cozy bar room and supply of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and cookies was a pleasure. Dinner and breakfast was delicious. Emily and Ishmael were some of the nicest people I’ve ever met in the hotel business. They made us feel so welcome and happy to assist us with our needs. P.S. Emily we saw 12 bucks where you sent us lol. 😂 we were gone so long because we ended up walking the long mile.

We stayed in a twin bedroom and next time my sister and I will get our own room because we felt the single beds were a bit narrow for us. The beds were comfortable and the rooms are spacious.

Very individual hotel. Staff were amazing & so friendly & helpful. Comfortable bed, fluffy thick white towels & classy bathroom with wonderful shower. Good breakfast & complimentary drink on arrival was a lovely touch. Bottles of water given out frequently on request without charge.

Unfortunately,my daughter & I had very little sleep due to exceptional circumstances with massive gusts of wind rattling the roof tiles all night as our room was an attic room. Not the hotel’s fault but rather spoilt our visit. Hotel receptionist was very apologetic & said we could have requested another room but never thought it was an option at 3am in the morning.

Comfy room, very friendly staff, particularly in the restaurant. The location was very convenient and the breakfasts and dinners we had were all very good.

The only minor concerns were the parking seems rather expensive and the boom gate access is not very efficient, particularly when no one answers the intercom in a timely manner and you’re then forced to drive around the block to allow street traffic to pass! Also on one occasion the reception staff could not open the gate remotely and had to come out to the gate to open it……and consequently another drive around the block to let traffic pass!

[1] The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming; [2] The breakfast was excellent - and the chef cooked my bacon exactly as requested; [3] The free welcome drink in the bar on arrival was a nice touch; [4] The room was nice and spacious, with a very comfortable bed and plenty of tea and coffee available.

[1] The hotel car park is very small, and has to be pre-booked at extra cost (which we did); [2] Our bathroom was not very well laid out - the toilet and sink were in the wrong place, so there was not enough space to dry properly after a shower, and whilst standing at the sink, the bathroom door kept opening and hitting my back; [3] The bathroom also got very steamy after a shower, and took a long time to clear the mirror - so we needed to factor this in when getting ready to go out.

Only issue was the bedroom window in one of our rooms didn’t open. The rooms are a bit dated but perfect comfortable. The staff were very friendly. The food in the restaurant was gorgeous. We ate there on both nights after a long day sight seeing, it was nice to get back, relax, have a drink, called to our table when dinner was ready. Very nice.

The window in one of the rooms couldn’t be opened so it was a bit stuffy. Also, paying with cash, seems to be a problem all over Windsor, including the hotel on the second night. First night fine, second night told we don’t accept cash as they had no change. Pointed out that we had paid cash previous evening.

Exceptional service from all staff. The lady on reception called us 20 minutes after we left to say we'd left a pair of earbuds. She'd already offered us use of the car park and bag store for the rest of the day after check out. Also use of the bathroom and bottled water when we returned some hours after check out. We travel a lot and are very cynical about hotels. This lovely place is truly welcoming and the staff are genuinely eager to help. Also the best hotel breakfast I've had in a very long time. On par with the Ritz Carlton and Four Seasons, in my experience. Thank you.

Nothing.
