The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel room was spacious and the restaurant had a good selection for breakfast. Very helpful that they provide a free shuttle to and from the airport.

There were ants in my bed and on the bedside tables. I don’t think this happens often and could have just been that particular room. The cleaning team attended to it straight away and the rest of my stay was fine. They offered me a complimentary drink for the inconvenience. The location is close to the airport but a 20-25 min bus journey from the CBD. The bed wasn’t very comfy in my opinion.

Room was very clean and we appreciated the complimentary water and tea/coffee stations provided. It had plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 kids. Beds were super comfy and liked that the hotel info was all easily accessible through the tv ie; room service options/restaurant times etc. We unfortunately didn't get time to try out the restaurant and Cafe but liked that it was easily accessible and an option during the stay. Very convenient for our family was the free airport shuttle which we used to pick us up when we landed and easy to book seats for drop off to the airport the next morning- Close to airports, drivers were both friendly and helped with luggage. Reception staff were super friendly and welcoming. Thank you

I was disappointed with how the male receptionist handled my booking. He repeatedly told me that I hadn't done certain things, such as requesting an extra bed or paying for the rooms, even though I had received confirmation from the hotel staff that these were possible and had completed the payment few days prior. After double-checking, he eventually confirmed everything, but the experience made me feel as though I was being questioned or that my claims were unfounded. I had assumed everything was in order based on my email exchange with the hotel staff, but it seems there was a lack of communication. Aside from this incident, the rest of the staff were great and provided excellent service.

We chose Ingot because of its proximity to the airport and also because it has a good gym. It was only about 10min drive to get to the hotel from the terminal. Around the hotel there were a few good eating places including steakhouses, Indian, and McDonalds, all within easy walking distance. The hotel was nice and modern with a welcoming reception. Our room was clean, comfortable and well-maintained. Our view wasn’t great, but I didn’t really expect it to be, being a low-rise in the city. The bed was comfy and the room was quiet, so we had a very restful sleep. The free Wifi worked great and the TV had tons of good programming. We had a couple of great workouts in the gym and found it to be very well-equipped with high quality equipment.

One little man at reception was rude & officious, needing much training in polite customer service. He had the temerity to be rude to me because Booking.com had not followed procedure. The next day he was also rude to my mother when she came to collect something we'd left behind & arranged (with another reception staff member) to pick up. Your other reception staff were superb!

Modern, well decorated hotel, comfortable room

Room was quite clean but I had someone’s old contact lenses left on my bedside table and the shower was becoming stained and a bit mouldy which could be removed with a thorough clean. Breakfast was quite poor. Dreadful coffee and watered down orange juice (tasted like squash). We were told that as breakfast was ending in 30 mins that the chef would not want to bring out anymore food despite a number of items being missing. Following a complaint more food was brought out.

Stayed here for the WWE at Optus Stadium. I liked that the hotel provided a shuttle service to and from the airport. The CBD is also easily accessible by taxi/uber and it is easy for them to pick you off and drop you off directly outside the hotel. The room was spacious and well lit. I was also very impressed with the bathroom as it offered plenty of counter space and good water pressure. The 24hr check in was also greatly appreciated.

I didn't like that my room was a little noisy at night/during busy periods like check out and when house cleaning was doing their services. This may have been because I was on the ground floor and close to the lobby. The bed was overall very comfortable but I did find that the mattress protector had quite a lot of pilling and I could feel this through the sheets.

The breakfast was ample with lots of good fresh selections. The room, which was a king, was very well equipped. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were not. Really good sized room. The bar and dining was great after a long flight.

My only comment against us probably out if their control, but the free shuttle, excellent, picked us up from the airport at the only smoking section, which was M. If it could be moved away from the smokers it would be vastly better. Also a time for collection would be good so you weren't left waiting, not knowing how much longer.

The hotel room was clean and tidy and had great amenities. Tea / coffee was refreshed daily as were the bathroom toiletries. The Bathroom was spacious and spotless. My room faced the main road yet it was very quiet, no traffic disturbance. The gym was really well equipped, with weight machines, free weights, Pilate balls, and treadmills, elliptical bikes, rowers, towels and water. The Cafe and Restaurant menu is great, and affordable. The Chef could have been a bit more flexible with swapping out salads for veggies, or chips for mash but otherwise a great stay.

I have visited the INGOT Hotel for one main reason i like to use the spar which is located near the swimming pool. I can't swim so the spar is very important on my visit to relax, the spar was out of bounds for most of my stay this time due to awaiting a part. I understand that this is due to no fault of the hotel however i was offered a upgrade of a room with a spar bath, unfortunately no rooms available which i understand, i was given a voucher in place of this for 1 drink which i felt was not good practice in looking after a customer who has used the hotel three times in the past year.
