Location easy transportation by bus and taxi. Overall experience was great.Casino lovers will enjoy.A walk at the river side was good. Metropole to me was a good choice.I can choose to have fine dinning or at the food court.Room service available with $6 extra. Good Facilities are available.

Taxi not by meter for some especially near midnight. Concierge should handle taxi for guests lane and separate area for other pickup or on call. A little messy you are online at a taxi sign but noticed that's not the queue when l ask the one in front when they don't seem to hop into taxi available.When l get into the taxi the rate goes up by $10 due a little congestion down 20 meters ahead within the drive way!$45 to $55 with 5mins!

Staff were all attentive and polite, even though it was very busy being between Christmas and New Years. We've stayed at Crown Towers before but I preferred the general vibe of the Crown Metropol. In-room inclusions are good (kettle, teabags, milk). Room service menu was varied and breakfasts were delicious and well presented on a tray. Poolside service was quick to our In-Pool Lounge. Well worth the half day fee.

Our King Spa room on level 10 was a little tired. Marks in the spa bath and loose carpet, however clean and comfortable.

The services

I was very happy and satisfied with my stay in Crown Melbourne and hence, decided to stay in Crown Metropol in Perth as well. The service and Atrium buffet at Crown Metropol has been stellar and very good so far. My family and I have been very impressed with the good service. However, when I was about to go to sleep, I flipped over my comforter and there were quite a few obvious stains. Given Crown’s stellar reputation and my previous excellent experiences with the cleanliness and service of other Crown hotels, I did not expect this. This level of cleanliness is unacceptable for a 5 star hotel.

Check in was nice and simple, pleasant staff at the desk. Glass lifts and the building design were a nice touch. Indoor pool and spa was fantastic to use whilst too cold outside. Gym was reasonable and clean. Free parking included. Comfy beds, very handy having a twin room option when travelling with little kids. Well laid out room, good size bath and shower. Although we didn't touch it, a Well stocked mini bar. Lovely pillows, not the noisy type. TV was easy to use.. Block out curtains were great!

The lack of information regarding parking, no signs, wasn't told you had to sign up to be a crown member first. The price of breakfast at 44per person was ridiculous, no way 3 of us would eat that much breakfast, disappointed we couldn't afford the overpriced breakfast. Lack of staff attentiveness, no greetings in and out, cleaning staff barely acknowledged when you said hello, bag staff didn't take our bags up or down, we had to cart them up and down ourselves , whilst there staff stood around chatting often. Noise factor, unfortunately the rooms are not very well sound proofed, alot of noise coming in from crown lobby/attrium areas.

The overall facilities were of an anticipated standard, room comfortable and well-appointed meeting our expectations.

Although staff were polite and professional, most went about their tasks in what can be best described as "robotic". Nearly every time we interacted with staff, it required deeper explanation to get it right, Our reservation for the hotel was "lost" in the system, likewise the reservation at Silks, was not seamless. Ordering coffee and cake required deeper explanation, a request for a takeout coffee carrier - (whilst I finally got one) - repeating the request (and declining the offer of a china plate and knife and fork for the first effort.

Comfy bed, pillows Excellent, nice break away from normal everyday life. No cooking, no housework, no business on computer, no phones, love the soak in the bath is great for relaxing, i went to Crown ball i had a ball, great cocktails by the pool area great place to unwind for Christmas, i could not be bothered with family this year, it was my year. sick of been dictated too life is too short. everyone can f___K off last year. It was the best. Breakfast was amazing. Chef and kitchen staff to pull the amazing variety of combination of delicious, yummy foods each morning pretty impressive. We loved our room, a beautiful view of the river, city and bridge, especially at night. We had the smorgasboard dinner which was so good, very enjoyable. It was great to pop over to the casino too for a wee plan and a win!!! Pools amazing too.

Nothing really apart from no toilet brush in the toilet. I did miss having a book to look at that tells you everything about the hotel etc, not everyone likes to constantly be on their phone or computer to find out stuff about the hotel

excellent service on arrival and friendly staff attitudes. Very professional and courteous. facilities at the crown complex are second to none.

only complaint was the time it took and multiple attempts to get a luggage trolley to our room in the morning. It was only my wife talking with a concierge at the front that got the ball rolling. she stated that even they gave up and in the end did it themselves after multiple radio communications failed. Was only minor but it did taint the otherwise excellent stay

The room was very clean and comfortable. Looks like carpets have been changed since our previous stay which was nice as they were getting dated. Staff were friendly and facilities were good. Loved the water slides and shallow areas for the little ones to play in.

The kids activity room was poor. We couldn’t get the game machines to work and there wasn’t anything in there really… they have the space to make it great so hopefully they do some updating. Also would have been nice to have some healthier options on the pool food menu like sandwiches.

Loved everything about our stay, the staff are super amazing and kind...the twin deluxe view room was so cosy and had a homely feel to it and the view was absolutely stunning and nostalgic to say the least.

Nothing I or my family disliked anything. If there were, it'll be silly complaints of like , "why does it take long for the elevator doors to open" or " that's too far to walk to" lol personal dislikes, nothing in regards to the hotel or staff
