The hotel in general was good. Staff was very friendly and respectful. This is a hotel for families with children. They have plenty of activities and facilities for kids including a Jurassic theme park. Food is really good. They have a restaurant called Maki Taco and it's SUBLIME! must do if you are in Cancun.

Hotel staff never answered my messages via Booking.com prior arrival. I was not able to arrange a Shuttle service (even with additional charge). I needed to take a taxi from airport and they over charged me (Xelbor Cab avoid using them). Long queues to get drinks and food (especially for kids). I didn't like the fact that Marine Army, Mexican National Guard and Police were around during my stay due to a shooting episode that happened in the hotel next door on December 7th 2021. It was an awful day and my family and I felt threatened.

I managed to get a Genius promotion/discount, so the price ended up being excellent considering it is an all inclusive, and many hotels that didn't even offer breakfast were more expensive than this. Not sure I would have the same opinion had I paid full price. If you are planning to stay in the hotel and do nothing else, you should consider other options, if it is just a place where you eat, sleep and rest after adventuring, then I definitely recommend it. Wifi was good. Staff were helpfull.

Standard is Mocktail, you've gotta ask for alcohol if you want it, There is no real fruit in the Cocktail/Mocktail, only industrialized syrups The rooms need an up do and so do the pillows, they stink No Frigobar No water in the rooms Not enough shampoo replenishing, specially if you are a family There are queues to reserve restaurants or, depending on the time, for the buffet as well. Restaurant times are weird, and they are closed between 4 and 6, so no much food around when you get back hungry from a day out, If you want to enjoy the Caribbean sea, this is by far NOT the most beautiful beach, They may have enough staff over the weekend, but from Tuesday rooms get cleaned up after 5pm Swimming pool was closed all day because of chlorine excess (??) Gym needs aircon

I loved how friendly and helpful the staff was! There was staff stationed all over the building to help you with anything you may need. The front lobby made sure you were getting on the right shuttle for hotel transfers and any tours you may have booked. You have access to not only the beach directly in front of oasis palm but next door at the sens as well. If you have an ocean view room with the balcony the noise level was fairly high at night time- we adjusted to it just fine but if you are a light sleeper I wouldn’t get a balcony room. Overall the food was really good as well.

as advertised you can tour the caption hook ship that is permanently stationed at the dock but we were unable to do that as included in part of our stay. You had to pay for the caption hook tour that actually went on a boat ride

the property was clean and the workers were very nice and professional

the food lines were to long and on Wed morning the breakfast line was absolutely too long you guys need to open up another restaurant so that the lines are not to long.

Travelling with young children. The facilities in the hotel are very good. Activities and shows everyday. Big variety of restaurants. Beach and pool areas well maintained and clean. Very good food. Awesome staff always friendly and helpful. Hotel is conviniently located beside the harbour where the boats depart for isla mujeres.

Although the restaurants are good and there is a lot of options, you will need to line up 1 hour before the opening of the restaurant or the time they start taking rever actions if you want to get a table. Usually for the buffets the line moves quickly if there is one

The resort was amazing! They had lots of restaurants, really good food, and a coffee shop! The staff were really nice specially our bartender Alex. They had lots of activities for the whole family. My family really enjoyed staying at the resort!

The rooms are a little small.

Great value all inclusive included video games, kayaking, coffee shop, plus a range of a la carte and buffet restaurants good range of different foods and generally really good quality especially the a la carte restaurants when open the restaurant and bar staff worked really hard

at the end of our stay they started to demolish several elements including the kids water slides and the bar. there was no apologies or signs of explanation to say what they were doing and why. the lady on reception didn’t really understand when I asked the reception staff weren’t very welcoming the kids club staff were a bit ‘flat’ Room was pretty small although we did have a big balcony the net curtain in our room was covered in stains due to various construction works, two of the a la carte restaurants were. closed on our last night which was disappointing

The hotel is a great value for money. Food is delicious, with offerings for all tastes. Kids enjoy, as well as the adults. Some reviews that I was reading before that the hotel was old, elevators were out of order etc. were simply not true. Even if something was out of order, it was quickly repaired. I rated the location with 4/5 because it seems that the beaches along the vertical part of the 7 shape of Zona Hoteliara are slightly better, despite more exposed to wind. Also, the hotel is right next to Embarcadero, the departure point for Isla Muheres.

The beach, while generally fine, is a bit small, further fragmented on part for swimming, part for kayaks etc. There were bits of the seasonal weed, my impression was that these were cleaned often, but yet, the water and the beach overall were not exactly the blue lagoon we expected. All extra charges (e.g. spa) were abnormally/irrationally expensive. I did not like the cartel of booths offering the tours with coordinated prices, usually twice what could be found outside the hotel (they offer Chichen Itza for 130 USD, also imposing artificial differences for premium package (e.g. saying that the bus is more comfortable if you buy the premium, but the bus is one and only), while I bought it for 70 usd outside).

Food was really good. Pool/beach close by. Ferry to Isla mujeres is next door.

The staff. OMG, sweet people everywhere! The Makitaco Restaurant. Loved it! The buffet was also great and had many options. I was amazed to see that it was open until 3 am! The room was nice. The pool areas were awesome. It's a great environment for those with kids. The drinks at the pool bar were good too. The mariachis by the pool really lit up the place at night. We loved it. It was peaceful and great to rest. We arrived a little earlier and they allowed us in until our room was ready.

The lines to go to the restaurants. You need to ask about the Wifi when you check in or you will be without internet your whole stay, thinking that you have to pay for it. The beach in this area is not the best in Cancun. You need to go to the Caribbean Side for the best turquoise blue, beautiful water!
