Dinner was very good and unique. The room was very nice with big shower and bath area. Plenty amenities supplied. Nice onsen (public bath) in a near-by facility

Communication was not easy but eventually ok. Apparently, breakfast is served only from 8:00 (wasn't mentioned in the booking), and since we needed to catch a flight, we couldn't attend. Alternative breakfast was offered at 7 am in a different hotel but with additional payment. why?

The staff were very polite. The building itself has beautiful architecture and a spectacular view.

There aren't any hooks on the wall to hang towels and bathrobes. If you want to go to Sapporo by bus or Taxi, make sure to plan ahead well in advance as there is very limited transportation available.

Boutique, very quiet and intimate setting. Breakfast and dinner are delicious and well crafted. Excellent service with special gelato treats of 14 unique flavors.

If you didn’t include dinner in your stay or reserve dinner elsewhere in the area, plan ahead bc no food option (even convenient store) is available especially in the winter.

The rooms were comfortable, modern and view of the lake was lovely. The breakfast was amazing, staff friendly and accommodating. Beautiful location and staying in winter was very quiet, but I loved it.

Only disappointment was having to walk to the nearby hotel for onsen, but it was a very nice facility, worth the short walk and no trouble at all.

We enjoyed the food and the view on the lake. The staff was very helpful, kind and attentive. We liked the easy access to the onsen.

During our stay it was the season for many bugs who we had difficulty adjusting to. But the staff also helped with that.

The gelato service is a great surprise

The Google Map direction from the lake to the property by walking is incorrect. It directed me to the back of the property where a local resident told me the right way--apparently many people had been misled before.

Perfect location - a few minutes' walk to Lake Shikotsu and the Visitor Centre. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner featured local ingredients and the after-dinner gelato was delicious!
