Very good location - right across the Padang Padang beach. Great 3 course breakfast with hot and cold drink. Free coffee, tea (iced or hot) and water. High quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion in the room. Very nice pool area where you can stargaze after sunset. Very nice and friendly owners who are often around and chat with hotel guests. Professional and friendly staff. Silvester from the reception was really friendly and attentive. He was an interesting person who spoke very good english and was really easy to talk to.

There's nothing to complain about but be careful with the monkeys who try to steal your food during breakfast.

The Room Padang Padang was in such an excellent location. I walked 5 mins to Padang Padang beach, to swim and surf, you can get surf lessons there if you don’t know how. Really close to bars and restaurants too. My favourite thing about The Room Padang Padang, were the nice and friendly staff. The 2 young Indonesian girls at the front, always smiling and offering assistance. The lovely ladies who made the amazing breakfast and special thanks goes to Silvester whom was so helpful and accommodating, and in fact probably the most professional front of house person I have ever had, and I’ve traveled a lot. Silvester was friendly, sincere and welcoming the whole time I was there. I can’t wait to stay there again.

What an amazing hotel to stay! We had the warmest welcome upon arrival as they gave us a refreshing drink by the pool while our room was prepared. The room in itself was very cozy with lots of storage, a spacious and very comfortable bed, great aircon, all the amenities (and more), and an *amazing* outside shower. The pool was gorgeous, the breakfast amazing and the hotel ridiculously well located to Padang-Padang beach. But what made our stay truly magical was the staff. If they helped us with logistics (renting scooters and ordering a taxi to the airport), I got very touched by how they would anticipate our needs. On our departure day, we had to leave very early morning, and it turns out they had organized a fresh and yummy takeaway breakfast for us to take on our way to the airport. A little gem of a location, I will be back for sure!!

The staff were amazing, so willing to help you, bring you free coffee, pool towels, scare away monkeys etc. A guests phone got stolen by a monkey and the staff got on the roof and got it back! Yummy breakfasts and the pool was incredible.

Bathrooms were veryyyyy hot as the room we had the bathroom was partly outdoors so very humid which made it a bit smelly.

The Room is perfectly situated, with the beach, restaurants and shops right on your doorstep. It's a little oasis from the traffic of Padang Padang. Unlike many other places in Uluwatu, there wasn't construction noise whilst we were there which made our stay much more relaxing. The rooms were clean and well air conditioned which was a saving grace in the heat! We were also very well fed at breakfast with a choice of eggs, pancakes and a fruit platter. Finally, the staff and service at The Room are exceptional, the staff went out of their way to help us out with whatever we needed, and were always on hand to get us a cooling or herbal drink. Highly recommend staying at The Room!

Not a big issue for us but the bathroom was outdoors, though it is covered which made it much better in terms of mosquitoes.

The hotel was so lovely. The pool was super peaceful and clean. Room was spacious with a balcony. Enough room to organize your belongings. Wifi worked well. Breakfast was AMAZING. Tons of options. Free pool towels changed out daily as needed. Really can’t complain. They even wished me a happy birthday and gave me a sarong! I loved my stay here. It’s right across from the beach but to be honest, the pool is much nicer than the beach!

Very nice hotel with very comfortable rooms and good bathrooms. Very nice staff and the breakfast is amazing! Location is great - super close to nice restaurants and you can go to the beach across the street (you have to pay entry though). Would definitely recommend it if you don't want to drive around on a scooter / take taxi's. Everything is easily accessible by foot and there is enough to do in the area + you can cool down at the pool.

The price was maybe a little high for what it was (although the area is also a bit more expensive than other places). We booked it because we thought it had easy access to the beach (there is a beach close to the hotel but you have to pay for entry and it's not one to lay down and relax). But that might have been our own mistake.

Everything was amazing! Staff and service was 10/10! The rooms and bathrooms were beautifully cleaned every morning. The pool area was great and although not very large was a suitable size for the number of guests. Beautiful layout and garden. Delicious cooked to order large breakfasts! 24hr access to filtered boiling and cold water as well as complimentary iced tea and coffee upon request throughout the day. Great location, access the road to the entry of padang padang beach and walking distance to shops and cafes. Could not fault anything! Will be coming back again and again.

Loved everything!

We loved everything about The Room Padang Padang. We had a superior room. It was comfortable, roomy with a very large outside bathroom. The whole place was spotless and gardens meticulously groomed. Pool sparkling and the best place to cool down after a day out. All the staff from cleaners to managers were very helpful and so so friendly. We felt very much at home here. We stayed for 2 weeks. It’s a great place to stay as it’s very central and just a short scooter ride to any of the fabulous beaches and great cafes. Never had a Dud meal in Uluwatu. Will go back again

This was our first stop on our month-long journey in Bali. The villa is owned by a lovely Portuguese lady who has had it for the past 7 years, and we had the pleasure of meeting her upon check-out. She is very generous. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the property was well-maintained. We loved the vibrant orange paint that surrounded the beautiful pool. It created such a lively atmosphere. During our stay, we noticed that many guests were solo female travellers from all over, giving the place a welcoming, international vibe. While travelling with my 12-year-old daughter, I felt completely safe. The location was just a 10-minute drive from nearby attractions, and we even spotted some monkeys nearby! The staff handled it well, using laser lights to deter them. It is pretty funny and entertaining! Breakfast was delicious and generous—a great way to start the day!

The room was a bit small. However, the bathroom was lovely with plants, and while the beach is just across the road, it wasn’t the most pleasant due to a lot of plastic waste and was a bit run down. The property can also get a bit noisy, as the layout tends to amplify sounds, especially when guests arrive late or others come home after a few drinks, etc. Additionally, I booked two months in advance, but a few days before our stay, I noticed the price was lowered. After securing the booking, I negotiated with them to adjust the rate, which felt a bit frustrating. They handled it well, though!
