Ari, the homestay host and her husband were very welcoming and Ari is an excellent cook. We stayed four nights and tried most of the dishes on the menu - all delicious. I had a cooking lesson with Ari and she showed me how to cook 3 Balinese dishes, which we then enjoyed for dinner. I shall be testing my skills when I get home! Her English is good and she’s a great teacher. Ari took me with her to the local market at 6 am - very interesting and not to be missed. The rooms all look out onto beautiful gardens and beyond that to the mountains - very idyllic. Lots of walks from the homestay through beautiful forests and clove trees (which smell amazing) to the waterfalls.

Great little place if you want a relaxing, quiet stay. The place is hidden away behind lots of greenery and is made up of 4 rooms only. For the price, the rooms are big and have all you need. Everything worked fine, the Wi-Fi was good. Ignore the negative reviews- if you are expecting a 5* experience then the Radisson hotel is next door and you can pay the bill along with that, but this was perfect for me and a lovely tranquil budget friendly place. The guy who works there is super friendly and he has the cutest puppy! There is no reception but he is always around if you need him but I had no problems during my stay- in fact I extended 3 times and stayed here for 10 nights in total! It is very much a place you could stay longer term.

Nice spacious room, comfortable, strong AC and good bed. The location is perfect and the setting is very nice, in the middle of a nice garden. The staff are ultra friendly, as it became expected almost everywhere in Bali, when aways from big crowds.

Only thing I would point out regard the shower heads and taps which need to be replaced. I pointed that out to the staff.

Great location, central but off the main road so nice and quiet. 5 minute scooter ride to the beach. There’s a nice warung out the front with friendly staff. Rooms are spacious and clean, staff were lovely.

Our bed was two singles pushed together so you couldn’t sleep as comfortably as if it were a double bed. Other than that, it was fine

lovely staff, comfy bed and fairly clean bathroom, only a 10 min walk from the beach, great value for money especially if you’re splitting cost with a friend
