Nice and quiet room. Very friendly staff, specially the person on night shift. She was very informative. The location is perfect, not too far from the Ferry. Breakfast is simple, has what you need and nothing more. It is clean. Loved the cookies at night.

The fact that this property, loke many others, uses COVID as an excuse to not clean your room unless you specifically request that. This is a common practice in the US nowadays. However, the cost of the rooms has not decrease. It were surprised to walk into a not-done room for our second night there. We simply assumed that housekeeping was standard, but unfortunately it is not.

Although the rooms are a bit small, everything is clean and well maintained. All the staff are exceptionally nice as well. The complimentary breakfast had fresh fruit (bananas) every day and plenty of individual serving packets of yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, peeled eggs, and mini muffins, toaster waffles, etc. Extra Towels & T.P. were available as needed (no daily room service - which we preferred). We really enjoyed our stay and the price was very reasonable.

Parking for larger vehicles and trucks is a little tight but we always had a place. In the room, a bathroom or sink nite light would be welcome.

The following exceeded my expectation from a 2 star hotel. I felt it to be a 5 start hotel comfort. Super Cleaniness, (carpets look like brand new) Free standard Breakfast, Very polite staff (both in reception and in the breakfast room) and their excellent behavior, High end and modern decorative accessories both inside the room and in the hallway and reception, Lots of fresh white Towels in the bathroom, Large quantities of Shampoo, Soap and Conditioner in the bathroom (instead of super small ones used in 5 star hotels) Free Wifi Location

The following can be improved in the future: No hot pool, No Gym access The room rates per day is a bit above normal. The current rate is good for a 4 star hotel.

The staff were exceptional! They were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The rooms were clean and large for a motel. The continental breakfast had everything you would think it would. The lobby was beautifully done, warm by the fireplace, and comfortable to relax in. There was plenty of parking right outside the entrance.

Not that we didn’t like this but worth noting: it was about 25 blocks from the main area of downtown and the doors to the rooms were loud when they closed so every time our neighbors went in and out, we could here it from our room. don’t bother us because we like to walk and we are sound sleepers.

Nicely updated throughout the property. Loved the fireplace in the lobby for sitting and working rather than sitting in the room to work. Rooms are updated, beds are super comfortable, but most of all, the whole property is impeccably clean, which is huge for me. TVs in room are very large and nicely mounted on the wall. Great selection of cable stations. Breakfast area was well stocked and again, impeccably clean. I usually stay at chain hotels for the consistency, but I was blown away by this property and it will make me reconsider small local inns in the future. This property exceeded my expectations in every way. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and welcoming.

Would have preferred to be a bit closer to the downtown area (walking distance), but then the cost would have been higher. If the weather was nicer, I still would have walked, but it's a 4–5-minute drive to the downtown area where all the better restaurants and bars are.

Clean, basic, and comfortable. The check in staff member was very polite and welcoming. Not a fancy place, but much more pleasant than the usual "motel."

As advertised and made clear at check in, there is no elevator. I was given a choice of ground floor or one flight of stairs up, which was fine for me. The continental breakfast was pretty limited, with only cereals, bagels and mini muffins, and hardboiled eggs (okay, yoghurt, juices, and coffee/tea too...) As a tea drinker, that Lipton was the only black tea choice was a disappointment. But at the price-point, the Marina Inn was still more than one might expect.

The interior and the exterior was very well maintained, with additional touches such as cookies near reception, coffee, juice etc available throughout the day. There was a book lending station too.

Location wise ideally I would have preferred to be closer to the downtown district of Anacortes as it really is too far to walk there from the Marina Inn. Otherwise it is convenient for the tour we took at Deception Pass and to catch the ferry to Friday Harbour.

Helpful friendly staff, little touches like motion activated night light in bathroom, fireplace in lobby, having gym equipment available when I woke up at 4:30am, easy check in and out. Everything was clean and well maintained. Liked the fact that our window overlooked trees, not a parking lot.

Bed was a little uncomfortable, would have liked some healthier choices for breakfast, but there was a nice variety to choose from for such a small facility.

I thought the hotel was so so cute! It was really pretty inside, I loved the fireplace in the lobby and the rooms were clean and smelled really nice somehow. The staff was also so kind. I felt super welcome as I checked in and everyone I talked to was great.

I thought there could’ve been a waffle maker at breakfast. I really like waffles from hotels. But that was literally the only thing. Everything else was exceptional.

Receptionist was very friendly, very helpful. Check out receptionist was also very friendly, very helpful. Breakfast included with stay was fantastic - many options and the gentleman working in that area kept the area very clean and continually refreshed food items taken. Most impressed with the selections available. Room was very clean, modern and perfect for the two of us. Definitely stay here again unless headed from SEATAC directly to ferry in Anacortes.
