zig zag carpet in the room was hard on the eyes The microwave was mounted way too high unless you are over 6 feet tall. Not safe for handling hot foods, but nice to have. water pressure kind of low for the shower, but understand it saves on precious water. ran out of Kleenex only had two sheets available would have been nice to have a small table on the other side of the bed and next to the comfortable chair to set your beverage or laptop on. food pricing was a bit high

The staff was very courteous and helpful, even when we arrived at midnight. :-) The room was large with period-style furniture. Breakfast was good. The location is central to Commerical Ave. and the various shops and restaurants.

Our ferry from San Juan Island was late due to a medical emergency, which meant we arrived back to the hotel after the dining room closed at 9 pm, the same closing time as other restaurants during the week. We missed dinner but had snacks and the hot water maker in the room for tea so it was fine. It is important to plan your time with the nature of the town in mind.

The Majestic was a wonderful surprise. I’ve traveled all over the world, staying in everything from a tent to a Five Star Relais et Chateau properties. The Majestic compared favorably to the 5 Star hotels. Room was beautiful and comfortable. There was a gas fireplace- so nice. Also, bathroom was gorgeous too. Great shower and even better, terrific light in the bathroom. Icing on the cake was that morning coffee in the room was a French Press! Best hotel coffee ever!

The roof top deck was nice because it was closed for service and we just went and had coffee up there and enjoyed the view. The staff was very friendly. The drinks in the bar were great. The coffee they provided was delicious. The rooms were spacious, clean and well appointed.

We ordered a charcuterie board via room service that was lackluster with just two piles of soft cheese, so crackers and a couple meats. It was very strange. The air conditioner in the closet in the room was almost distractingly loud.

Comfy bed.

TV remote was unreliable and no hooks to hang your coat/clothes on. If you don't have enough staff to run a restaurant properly, don't open it at all. The situation in the restaurant in the morning hours was wholly unfair to that one woman doing it all. I'm sure she probably had no choice as she likely needed the job but that was, I'm sure, a completely unpleasant experience for her and your customers. We wanted to eat there and tip her well but did not feel right about adding to her stress.

The location is perfect for walking around Anacortes enjoying the downtown and waterfront vibe. Beginning our mornings with a walk or run out to Cap Sante with our dog was just perfect. The staff is friendly and helpful. We appreciated the great communication ahead of our stay and the flexibility to allow our 50lb pup. The rooms are clean and inviting. The cleaning staff was helpful with keeping us stocked with coffee tea and fresh towels.

The rooms in the contemporary building were stunning. The downstairs bar and rooftop bar might be the nicest places in Anacortes to get a drink. Very much had a Charleston vibe, which I loved. Great mixed drinks. I have stayed in many hotels but I have never had a hotel reach out to me about a left behind item with instructions on how to get it back. That is top notch customer service.

The room in the older building was not as nice as the new rooms in the contemporary building. If I hadn’t seen the other rooms, I don’t think I would have been so disappointed. The older hotel rooms should not be at the same price point as the new ones. Also, the room numbers for the contemporary building are a little confusing, especially when you have three rooms. I think the front desk should do a better job of explaining where the rooms are.

We loved having a refrigerator in our room; the French press coffee maker and complimentary Moka Joe coffee (for at least one morning). It was also nice to have robes. The central and very walkable location (for example, proximity to Farmer's Market), was also great.

The room furniture could have been a bit more comfortable. A table and chairs, or even a sitting area, in lieu of the desk would have worked better for us (we were eating take-out as a Covid precaution, since we were there when most of the outdoor spaces at restaurants were full and crowded).

The front desk staff was amazing. There was a last minute change in our room and Mary at reception upgraded us to the Pure Room, which was amazing. Location is fantastic. We rented a Tesla and there were complimentary on site Tesla chargers that were available when we needed them.

The on site restaurant has good food, but the service was severely lacking. This is going to sound crazy, but it took 4 tries to get the correct order for my breakfast. Once they got it right, it was a good breakfast, but it was crazy that it took 4 tries to get a simple order correct.

I loved that they provided us with freshly ground coffee from a local coffee shop. I loved interacting with the staff. They are friendly and fun! The room was beautiful and the fireplace was such a nice touch in the winter weather. The bed was comfortable too!

Parking is a little tricky and I didn't understand exactly what was on limits and off limits. Other than that all was well. Thank you!
