This building is lovely and is a must stay if you come to this beautiful city.

It was unique! Such an interesting building. We loved the rooftop terrace and would meet our friends there for a happy hour everyday. The location is great but tricky to find with a car. The hotel provided paid valet parking for our car. They also arranged a walking tour of Guanajuato and also a tour to San Miguel de Allende and surrounding cities. Guanajuato is a very special place!

The bed was just a double, so small for 2 people when you’re used to a king. We were on the 4th floor and even though there is an elevator there are still many stairs to climb. This did not bother us but may be a challenge for some.

Exceeded expectations! Hotel room was large - it was a suite with 2 bedrooms (3 full sized beds), a bathroom with separate sink area, and living room with a large table for 4 people that we constantly gathered around. Upon arrival, there was a curb space where we could park and Jose Ramon, a parking vendor, and bellhop received us. They took care of the vehicle and helped with luggage. My mom needed a bit of help up the stairs - while there was no visible elevator on the first floor, the staff took us to the "secret" elevator in the tunnel. There was always two staff members at the front desk and a bellhop on hand as well as extremely helpful staff throughout the hotel. Hotel was conveniently located in the center of the city - a 1-2 minute walk from the basilica.

Everything was perfect.

We loved this hotel. It's a beautiful building with great interior design. It's a bit like a maze so it's easy to get a little lost, but we didn't mind because it was so lovely to walk around in. On one floor there is a giant tree that grows in the hotel, and out through the roof. So cool! And we loved brining a drink up to the rooftop terrace which had lovely views. Our room was also great. Comfortable beds and it was large. We upgraded to a suite so it had two separate bedrooms and a sitting room, which was lovely. Since the town is small you can walk everywhere and the hotel had was situated perfectly for that. Everything was close. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay again should I return to Guanajuato.

No complaints.

It was a bit of a labyrinth finding our room on the 4th floor but staff were always helpful. Lovely outdoor lounge with decent wifi for my daughter to work. V helpful staff checking in and out and they had a place to store our luggage for a late afternoon departure. Location was so central, we walked everywhere.

The rooms were small and there was little room for toiletries in the bathrooms but otherwise, they had everything one could need - iron and board, safe, cupboard, heater( though we didn’t need it)

The location was perfect. The property was clean and quite comfortable. The staff was attentive, especially our breakfast staff Martín and Fernando! They really went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and they were very friendly and funny, too!

Our room was in the families section and was a little noisy at times. Next time we will request a room in a different area.

Excellent location in the historic center of town. Beautiful historic building with unique features. Clean room and helpful staff.

Unfortunately it was very noisy, making it difficult to sleep. I was in a terrace facing room and there were loud church bells and barking dogs from the vicinity all night, as well as other guests talking loudly on the terrace, unfortunately. Perhaps not an issue with one of the interior rooms.

Good value in beautiful colonial building. Walking distance to main attractions in Guanajuato. Nice breakfast buffet por around USD 12.

Parking is far from the property but they escort you and bring your luggage (7 minute walk).
