The tiny hotel has only 6 or 7 rooms. When we checked in we were given our choice of three rooms. I choose the 3rd floor because it was the only room on the 3rd floor and just below the most beautiful roof top terrace. Although the weather was extremely hot during our stay, escaping to the roof terrace both morning and evening was blissful.

I'm an old gal and I knew the hotel didn't have an elevator but I throughly enjoyed staying there. I also knew that the hotel didn't have an air conditioner and the weather was brutal but the ceiling fan did a reasonably good job of keeping air circulating in spite of the unexpected heat spell. So through no fault of the hotel, the weather was too hot and I had more exercise than I bargained for by choosing a third floor room and spending much of my time on the blissful roof top.

We stayed in a duplex suite with the city view and paid for the breakfast as well. The hotel is located within center of the more touristy area so close to everything you want to see. No parking or place to pull your car up if you are driving. So, you will need to walk with your luggage. We parked in one of the parking garage and paid 42 pesos for over 24 hours. The breakfast is a nice spread with hot cakes, frijoles, chilaquiles, and other delicious foods. Staff were super nice and helpful. Hotel room was spacious but bathroom was a little small and dated. The view from the balcony was amazing. I stayed with my husband and family our room worked for all seven us. Everyone was amazed by the hotel and the price was great. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it.

Breakfast was delicious a very nice amenity from our booking, it’s a good way to start your day with a full on breakfast before starting an adventurous day in Guanajuato. Location is amazing it is the perfect location to get to any of the amazing places in Guanajuato. Amazing, friendly and very helpful staff willing to help, and Judith was very helpful helping and arranging our transportation to Morelia she was amazingly supportive.

One advice to this hotel is maybe an update renovation to the lobby. It needs a more uplifting and welcoming entrance. Needs a WOW 🤩 look.

The proximity to restaurants and attractions was fantastic. The Plaza de la Paz was right outside with great views of the church and monuments. Outdoor restaurants and bars were located right next door. Breakfast was served fresh every morning and the staff was always attentive.

We booked a 10 day stay and the cable tv went out on our second day and did not come back on until the day before we left.

This is our number one choice hotel when traveling to Guanajuato. The Junior Suite is the best choice for a family of 4. Plenty of space. Staff is very friendly and breakfast is good. gracias a todos por sus atenciones 🙏 Gracias

Parking. Far from property and they not always have staff to park or bring your car. But dont regretted because we ended up walking through the amazing tunnels . 😁

Incredible central location. Literally in Centro. But not noisy. Had a balcony where we could enjoy a coffee and watch the city go by. Huge room, big beds, lots of space and storage. Rooms cleaned daily, really well. Breakfast included was a buffet. All fresh and delicious. Water fountains on site for fresh filtered drinking water and the wifi is fast.

Concrete stairs to the loft in the room are a bit rough if you take them barefoot. Hooks needed in the bathroom.

I can’t say enough great things about this place. It was gorgeous! Inside and out! The room was incredible beds were huge. Room was huge! Close to everything. Breakfast was great view was amazing.staff was super friendly and helpful. This is the best hotel I have ever been too. The view from the room was breathtaking and I wanted to never leave. But I guess this town does that to you. So lively and fun. You are literally in the middle of everything at this hotel and it’s magical. Fireworks at night, singing and dancing everywhere. It was just amazing

It’s old Mexico, just like many places you will visit the plumbing is old, toilets were hard to get to flush and with 5 in a room this was pretty fun to deal with lol. Parking in this area is tuff. Just know this hotel allows you to drop off you luggage at the front then go park. It was really the only one a I saw that has an area chained off for that. I also didn’t like that we had to leave and go home. Wish I could have just stayed here forever.

Everything was great. Great location, right in down-town. Walking distance to many places for food, drinks and a few museums. Hotel is clean and our room was bigger than expected, and also clean. If you do not like noise at night, I suggest to request a room away from the main street.

No parking lot available although they do have options. Staff are helpful in finding you a place and helping you with your lugagge. In the hotel, it appears that you have to do some stairs since no elevator exist. We were lucky to do a few stairs. I did not asked or saw any elevators, just in case you have to go up 2-3 floor, I presume it will be entirely walking.

The location is in the center of everything! The property layout is beautiful! Very beautiful!! I love all the little windows! The breakfast was excellent and staff was very helpful and friendly!!

No parking! They will take your car to a parking that’s a couple miles away from the hotel. If you want to leave early you’ll have to walk and get your car.

The service and staff at Hotel La Casona de Don Lucas made our stay very enjoyable with their help arranging our tours and information on fun things to do and visit. Great bunch of friendly people. - Guanajuato is a friendly beautiful city with lots of great places to visit, and "The Callejeneadas" is something not to miss, as is tour with lots of fun the music. We would love to return someday.
