The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Lovely bed, good linen. Good location right in the town centre and free parking right outside. The bar menu was good and the food was good too. Breakfast was a bit overcooked but nice enough.

It lacks a bit in atmosphere, has a bit of a corporate feel. Staff were responsive and courteous but not all that friendly. When we checked out nobody said "Was everything good for you" or "Hope you enjoyed your stay". Not a big deal but I feel this should be standard in any tourist hotel.

We thought the staff were excellent, especially a lovely lady called Harriett at reception. She went out of her way to help us, nothing was to much trouble for her. Also on reception the morning of Monday February 13th was a gentleman that showed us around the beautiful old convent church part of the hotel. I think Temple Gate are lucky to have great staff like these people.

Breakfast was superb - probably the best we've had at a hotel in a long time. Location of the hotel is ideal for spending time in Ennis Town centre as it's right there itself. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.

Considering we booked an 'Executive Room' I had expected something a little bigger. The room and some of it's furnishing are also a little dated and could do with upgrading; e.g. probably the smallest TV I've seen in a hotel room in years and the bathroom isn't the most modern.

The location was great and the staff very helpful. Loved the elevator! Loved that the Green Bus to Dublin stops right outside (but you can only take one suitcase (so we were out as we were loaded with gifts). We took the train instead.

The electrical plugs were under the desk across the room from the "head" of the bed. This makes it impossible to use a C-pap unless you put your pillow at the foot of the bed. This made for a difficult stay for me. It was challenging enough to rule this hotel out for me without changes.

The hotel was located in the center of Ennis, proximate to Shannon airport and within walking distance of historic sites. On-site parking was provided. We ate dinner at the hotel's restaurant listening to traditional Irish music. Food was good; service was attentive.

Our only complaint was that the carpet in our room looked a bit soiled. To be fair, the carpet was beige - which is difficult to keep clean. The bed was comfortable, linens and towels were good quality and clean.

It's been several times I stayed in the hotel and the location is just perfect!! Parking is outside but reserved for Hotel customers, free of charge and as always the Reception staff people were so very kind.

The only plus point would be to get 'view on court yard' room. I experienced differently located rooms over the years and just one time, the room window was on 'the wall', which is not very attractive. However this question is only secondary as we went out then for dinner in town and came back when it turned dark... I will still ask 'court yard view' room the next time I will book.

I have to say the lady who greeted us around 4/4.30 Mark on Thursday was so pleasant and lovely to deal with. I would have liked to seen a residents bar open would have been nice to have a drink when we arrived back to hotel. I just want to let you know that in room 203 when my partner had his shower the water had leaked out passed the toilet bowl. Just a heads up before some really rude person addresses it.. I have to say I will be back again to ye and I thank ye so much.. place was spotless and the staff ye have working there are wonderful people to deal with

Great location with easy access to Ennis town, spotlessly clean, comfortable room and friendly, welcoming staff. Food was very good.

Two small issues - bathroom tap had a spray filter but always sprayed forward and could not be diverted. It was impossible to avoid getting sprayed. Also, room key cards seemed to ‘time-out’ and we had to get them re-configured a number of times. (These issues did not spoil our stay in any way).

We loved the hotel there was a warm reception from the staff, they where very helpful, the room was warm, comfortable and spotless , very luxurious I have been to alot of hotels in my time and must say this was an outstanding hotel. Only for it was a bit out of my budget I would of definitely gone back there thank you for a wonderful stay ❤️

Just to pricey

Convenient location for us focused on downtown, trad music activity, clean and comfortable room and great parking included.

I don’t recall for certain, so could be mistaken, but I don’t think there was an in-room tea set-up or complimentary bottled water, both of which we appreciate.
