This was our first time staying in Lahinch and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this great hotel. My husband and I, our two teens and three grand-parents. Everyone loved the hotel. The teens both used the gym and pool. My husband and I used the pool, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi and all were great. The breakfast on both mornings was fantastic with good choices for all. We had dinner on one night and it was lovely albeit the choice was not huge. The staff were all very helpful and friendly from the receiption to the day staff. We will definitley be back in the spring/summer.

The pool was dark, maybe the lights were just out at the time we visited. Maybe another pancake machine for the kids at breakfast as even though it wasnt busy when we were there, all the kids were queuing so the teens didnt bother waiting for it but commented that they would have liked a pancake as they looked lovely.

The room was spacious and very nicely decorated. Good shower, althought the shower was in the bath, which I dislike. I prefer a proper walk in shower. Beautiful decor and a great location. We were able to take a walk from the hotel to the sea which is just 20 metres away. Really lovely place.

The room was extremely hot, no air conditioning and the windows only open a crack, making no difference behind the heavy curtains. We both were sweating and uncomfortable all night. Not a great night's sleep. No kettle, only a very loud coffee pod machine, which was annoying. What's wrong with providing a kettle? The lady on Reception was lovely.

Great hotel! Family of 5, had interconnecting rooms and lots of space! Comfortable beds, very quiet at night. Near the beach, walked down and watched the sunset and surfers. Decent swim and gym facilities. Friendly staff. Had dinner at the hotel, first a drink in the cosy pub area, then in the main restaurant. Staff very attentive and great food. Really enjoyed our stay, could have easily stayed more than just the 1 night.

Gym and pool only opened at 9am, very late for a hotel. Breakfast a bit on the pricey side (so opted for own breakfast in room).

The location is perfect to explore all Co Clare offers. The room was nice and very clean. Location in the town centre is perfect just a walking distance from all dining places and the beach. A very good restaurant at the hotel, that was a nice place to dine or have a drink.

Although the breakfast was generally fine, we expected more from a four-star hotel. The choice might have been better, as well as the way the food was presented. The restaurant is a very nice place to have lunch and dinner, too. However, the staff didn't pay enough attention, as there were tables not properly cleaned after the previous visitors have left, and sometimes it took too long to spot a staff member in order to order food or pay the bill.

Location, parking facilities, Aberdeen Lunch and Staff were lovely Access to Beach, Sea breeze, relaxation

Earlier check-in should be offered, 4pm is unfair, especially for families with younger children travelling from other counties or arriving from abroad. Pool is n/a to kids after 6:15pm. This Check-in policy was definitely not obvious to the incoming guests during our stay as it lead to an enormous volume of luggage being left at an open Reception area while eager families awaited their keys For guests on a one night booking paying a premium price, I wouldn't consider it Value for Money where the room is only offered from 4pm and check-out is 11am. Our room did become available shortly after 3 and Reception notified us

We had a suite, which was perfect for our family on this trip. The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful, without exception and the atmosphere relaxing and created a home from home feeling. The breakfast was superb, and my family particularly enjoyed the automatic pancake maker! Bar food was also top quality. Central location in the heart of Lahinch, everything withing walking distance.

This didn't affect our stay on this occasion as it was only a short break, but the kitchenette in the suite wasn't fantastically equipped. We could make tea and coffee, and have light meals (kettle and microwave provided), but on a longer trip, it would have been useful to have more cooking equipment. To be fair, perhaps if we had needed them, they would have been provided on request.

I did like the whole experience, the room was great, comfy and modern design; the pillows were good too, not too hard not too soft; the space in the wardrobes and facilities, tea and snacks in the room always very welcome for any traveller and good quality. Very thoughtful to the detail. Breakfast was spectacular, lovely, gentle and plenty of staff in the restaurant. The parking is a high plus.

All was up to standard. I didn't rate all excellent because there is always room to improve in every business.

We booked a family suite so had 2 bedrooms with a living area/kitchenette. Its also right in the heart of Lahinch so easy to wander out in the evening without needing the car. The hotel menu was also very good and we ate there quite a number of times. There are lots of different areas to sit in, all with a different feel. Staff were really friendly also. We will be returning next year..

The weather! We cannot blame the hotel for that but it was not good. We only had one sunny day where we could go to the beach. Fortunately the hotel has a lovely leisure centre and pool so we used that most days..

The staff. In particular, Jon in the breakfast area. He was very kind and helpful with the GF black pudding I found at the supermarket and putting it in the fridge for me. Then he would ask the chef to cut a piece. So thoughtful. Then there was, eek I have forgotten his name (sorry), the lovely gentleman who works in the leisure centre. He was great giving recommendations and just generally having a chat. The rooms are, good. They've clearly had a reno at some point. Like most hotels in Ireland the shower pressure is mediocre. The pressure is better in the leisure centre, so if you are struggling just go and wash your hair down there instead. The location is great.

I didn't like that there was no mini fridge in the room. When you are staying a few days somewhere it's really helpful to have somewhere to put your cheese or chocolate that you buy along the way. It was very disappointing that hotels didn't have them. They don't have to have anything in them, they just need to be available. For that reason, I would probably look for a holiday let/ AirBnB instead.
