Substantial breakfast, eggs cooked to order, cold meats and cheeses were fresh and appealing, as were the pastries and fresh fruit. The staff in the restaurant were friendly, helpful and seemed to be enjoying their jobs. The restaurant is also light and airy. We had dinner in the restaurant on two nights out of the three of our stay. The meals were freshly made and of high quality, again served by friendly staff. What we particularly liked about this hotel is that it has a relaxed atmosphere and is not so big as to make it impersonal. Added to that, the staff throughout the hotel are extremely helpful. Reception staff were welcoming and always ready to provide information about the city, means of transport and places to visit. Overall, a most pleasant stay!

Location of hotel easy to find and close to all places we wanted to visit. Great for parking. Staff on arrival very efficient, helpful and friendly. Good length of time for breakfast, which had good choice of food and was very tasty. Were not pushed out at 10.00am but warned they were due to close if we needed more. Once again staff helpful and friendly. Bathroom a little tight but adequate.

A bottle of water in room would have been appreciated. Marks on side of fridge cupboard a bit unsightly. Definitely warm plates for breakfast food so it didn’t get cold too quickly. Very, very noisy door closure that caused disturbance with late comers at night.

Comfortable bed, helpful staff, lovely vegan breakfast (didn't like the mushrooms - no flavour- but the rest was great), Crabtree & Evelyn vegan toiletries, lovely fresh smell around the hotel and on the sheets (although this might irritate skin for some).

Quite expensive for what it was (compared to similar room standard in Moxy Plymouth). Poor choice of TV channels and no apparent way to connect to own Netflix/Prime/YouTube. Rooms located on relatively noisy ground floor - one between gym and toilets. Not much choice of teas in room - could have herbals. Terrible car park - so difficult to find the way in, too small, and once in to check for space, had to reverse most of way back out. Difficult to get to the hotel from busy city centre roads - took us a good half hour to find our way in, even when we could see where it was.

Warm friendly welcome, helpful reception staff whenever approached. Smooth lift. Spacious room, great storage space, lovely shower, pillows softer than any I have found before! Restaurant was quiet, reasonable range on offer for breakfast, but again friendly welcome from staff. Location is very convenient for train station and only 10 minutes walk into city centre.

Because my stay was over Christmas, the menu in the restaurant was more limited than probably available at other times. Though the food was still good !!

It was convenient for the station when we were stranded in Bristol following Storm Bert . It was a lovely warm welcome after a long day of travel and dressed for Christmas. Lovely staff and very helpful , clean room and comfortable, nice breakfast

Nothing really but we think that they were. Sight by surprise by the number of people also stranded so it was busy and the restaurant was a little stretched during busy period in the evening so paused taking food orders . However we did get served and food was fine . Staff apologised for inconvenience too.

Comfortable room; minimal noise from outside room; good view over park at rear of hotel. Staff were all welcoming and helpful. Breakfast food was of decent quality - both the cooked breakfast and the fruit and cereals.

Queue to access restaurant for breakfast on the second day of my stay was lengthy; there were very, very few spare seats inside the restaurant . More disappointingly - given the size of the restaurant - was the disjointed layout for the various breakfast items; cereal containers some distance from cereal bowls and coffee machines X2 were too close to each other so that when a queue built up only ONE coffee machine could be approached. ALSO coffee machines were 'tucked into" one corner so that creating more than one queue was close to Impossible

A great hotel for us as we wanted somewhere near the station for one night. Check in was quick, the room was great (had everything we wanted), breakfast was good and the location was great for us. All the staff were lovely, special thanks to Peter for providing me with plasters and being great at check in. It was quiet and clean and honestly exactly what we needed. It was expensive for one night but it was a Saturday and freshers week so I think demand was high and that's economics. It was still the cheapest in Bristol for that night when we booked.

Good location, nice and clean. Friendly staff

Disappointed with our breakfast experience on the Sunday morning, although the small amount of food we managed to find was tasty, the dining room was completely overwhelmed with the volume of people. Staff did their best but couldn’t cope. Food ran out. Our room was cold on arrival we contacted staff who came up to check heating controls. It did warm up on our 2nd day. A blanket in room would have been helpful/ we thought it too late to request one

The Hotel is easy walking distance from Bristol Temple Meads station. The reception staff was very welcoming and helpful. We were given a map and had an explanation how the get to our venue for the evening without really having to ask for it. The walk into the old town part was short. The room was clean and well arranged. The breakfast was good.

The room was very warm and we did not seem to be able to get the A/C to cool it down. Maybe it was just us... but I mentioned it as we checked out and felt that my comment was being taken serious. A couple of things ran out during breakfast, and we were by no means late, and weren't replenished whilst we ate. We still manged to fill out tummies no problem though.

The receptionist lady (sounded Dutch) was very wlecoming and moved us to a room overlooking the garden at the back. We only stayed one night as I was going to a concert at the Bristol Beacon and my wife was meeting old friends who live bear Bristol. The central location is perfect for the entertainment areas of the City and the local bars restaurants etc offer a range of cuisine and atmosphere. Breakfast options were good though both coffee machines were broken - a kind staff lady made us both coffees from a machine behind the bar Will definitely stay there again.

The power on the shower was rather too weak to wash my wife's very thick hair. This was at least partially the result of the head leaking. Some of the wall tiles were cracked (Room 106) as was the shower basin, both probably the result of movement at some point. I reported all this on departure.
