Conveniently located just 10 minutes from the city center and shopping district, the hotel offers a peaceful retreat despite its proximity to a major road. The room was impeccably clean, with exceptionally comfortable beds that ensured a peaceful night. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and conducted by friendly staff. Additionally, the room was well equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable visit.

With a double and a single bed fitted into the room, the space felt a bit cramped, especially as we were traveling with two large suitcases. However, since our stay was only for one night, this wasn’t a significant inconvenience. We also parked at the nearest car park, but upon check-out, we had just 15 minutes to reach our car, load our suitcases and pay the parking fees to benefit from the discount. Felt slightly rushed!

Hotel is very welcoming and staff helpful. It is away from main centre so is quiet at night, although you do need to walk a little while to get into the main centre. Bedrooms were very comfortable and warm. Great size TV, tea tray and some free goodies ( soft drinks and chocolate). Bathroom was clean, great towels and super shower.

Although there was plenty of choice at breakfast some of the hot items sitting in the warming trays were over cooked. Perhaps too many items cooked at once to be left sitting on trays and under lights. I had a croissant that was very heavy and hard around the edges, I think because of the lights over them. The 2nd morning lots of cold items hadn't been replenished, no greek yoghurt, the fresh fruit salad bowl only had a few pieces in the bottom of the bowl. Then the bowl of berries was empty. Either someone isn't really keeping a look out for replenishment required or its taking too long to get the items out.

Not only I liked, but LOVED everything about this hotel! The attention to detail in every aspect - from practicality, cleanliness and comfort, or customer service quality to aesthetics, decor, fittings and style -, is exceptional. I rarely get so enthusiastic about a hotel, but Leonardo City in Bristol surely impressed me! On my very short stay (just one night in December 2024), I found the hotel to be immaculate and very well presented. Every little "touch" seems well thought through. What I appreciated: • the location in the city center, and not far from the train station • the bed was a dream to sleep in - very fresh linen, supremely comfortable mattress • floor to ceiling curtains that allow for total "blackout" • very good sound insulation • fully room-customisable air conditioning/ heating system • Iron and ironing board in the wardrobe • ergonomical and silent fridge, safety box and the well stocked tea& coffee 'kettle station' • the multi-angle bedside lamps • the comfortable armchair and table for laptop etc. work • the generous number of electric sockets throughout the room • the spacious room and bathroom • the generous shower space • the superb cleanliness everywhere in the hotel • the buffet breakfast's delicious, diverse and high quality menu offerings • the service with a smile from all members of staff Needless to say, if/ when the need arises, I'll return to this wonderful hotel without hesitation.

I am quite a fussy traveller, but frankly there is nothing I can think of that I didn't like at Leonardo's in Bristol! These guys know what they're doing! ;-) Thank you for this experience, keep up the great work!

We came to the hotel before 11am and got the room straight away which was amazing, buffet breakfast from 6.30am was a great way to start the day with good choices every morning. Staff was really nice and polite, location less then 10min walk from rail station and bus stop from and to the airport. All in all a perfect stay.

The cleaning lady didn't check our room on the second and third day of our stay, so we had to ask for toilet paper and clean towels, also our bins in the room were full. And on the fourth day she knocked at the door after 5pm when we were back in the room and resting. Most hotels have housekeeping done in the morning when guests are at breakfast and/or out of their rooms rather than in the afternoon when most are back to their rooms. It's not a big deal for 1 or 2 night stay, but for a longer a bit of inconvenient.

The check-in experience was smooth and relaxed. The hotel room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the staff was really kind and informative. I personally loved the ambience and the coffee quality. I would totally recommend anyone visiting Bristol to stop by the Leonardo Hotel.

The only thing I didn't like was that when we got breakfast, the staff didn't warn us that they were about to bring everything away because it was almost 10am. So we paid and started eating but when we went to get some more food, like 5 minutes later, everything was already removed. I believe it would have been appropriate, and appreciated, if the staff informed us that the buffet was about to be removed before letting us pay. That's the only negative experience I had.

Location was good, close to Temple Meads railway station. The room was a good size and it was quiet. Housekeeping was good. The room was clean. Good bed. Unfortunately, for some reason, I was charged for the room twice and the amount was taken out of my bank account twice. But the hotel noticed this quickly and refunded the money promptly. So……very good! And very professional! I understand that sometimes something may go wrong. It happens. But the people at this hotel solved the problem quickly! Also, on the day of departure my taxi did not show up at 10.40, as agreed. The receptionist immediately rang the taxi company and I got to the airport on time! So…..I will certainly stay here again, as staff here are very service-oriented and professional!

I did not have breakfast at the hotel, so don’t know about the quality. Breakfast was until ten a.m. I hope this hotel will change that to eleven a.m. before my next stay.

Comfort of the room was good, with decent pillows! Very good choice of breakfast and good quality. Overall a very nice hotel with a sense of calmness throughout which was nice.

I think the waiting staff could be trained to a better level. Whilst it is nice to have your plates taken away when finished, on both mornings the young gent would attempt to take my glass away when I was not finished, I could then not use it has he had already put his fingers in the glass, he didn't think to ask if I was finished. As I was also using crutches at the time, during breakfast I just used one so as I could carry my plate to the table, this was a struggle for me, yet three members of staff passed me and did not offer to carry my plate.

Breakfast was great the whole stay was lovely

too many hotels cook so many spicy meals not enough english dishes would of loved too of had an evening meal but as i said so many spicy dishes and i and alot of people like myself suffer with acid reflux .and also one member of staff spending so much time giving people information about places to go and how to get there when all most people want to do is get checked in to there room and just ask those sort of questions later it took over 20min ,instead of about five min.to check in so much room for improvement

Fantastic hotel in every respect, just what was needed for a short break. Staff were very welcoming and courteous and the hotel location is perfect for a pay and display carpark nearby (three minutes walk). Take the archway entrance into the hotel as whilst there's a sign saying hotel entrance it didn't mention the Leonardo so we initially walked past it. Will definitely be staying again in the near future!

The address is shared with other wider buildings which seemed to confuse Uber Eats as to the location of the hotel but that's their mistake not the hotels as to be fair you cannot really miss the big red neon Leonardo Hotel sign 🤣
