The best thing about this hotel for me was the English Garden, the massive park that stand right next to the hotel. We got a room facing the park and the canal. Then, the AC and the comfy bedding were top notch. The room was by far the biggest I've seen in Europe.
The breakfast can be improved when compared to the IHG's breakfast. The location is a little too far from the main attractions of Munich and the roads leading g to the hotel from the Altstadt are not well lit up so some may feel a bit scared to walk back late at night. But taxis are always around. The tram line also comes pretty close to the hotel.

Room excellent breakfast superb and staff on duty there efficient, hardworking, friendly staff generally friendly and helpful - they are clearly well trained/managed location slightly tricky as no U-Bahn nearby and didn't always want to use taxis, but very good bus service on the other hand, close to the English garden good that there are four lifts
food selection in the bar was extremely limited. Last year, for instance, I'm sure you had pizzas on the menu there. room key twice failed to work and needed reprogramming hotel info might have been more easily accessible without needing to scan QR code eg times of breakfast, WiFi code

Very nice hotel, the room was very big and comfortable. The hotel is not in the city centre but it's easy enough to get a tram or a bus to the centre. There is a bus that stops in front of the hotel and from a walking distance there is a great park. We order room service from the hotel restaurant and the food was really good.
The only thing that wasn't 100% was the curtains that didn't close all the way up so some light was visible in the morning. Also there was some confusion with the room service, in the app it said that it was required to order fries with the sandwich, but then it didn't come, and when we called they say it was an error in the app and they do fries. They said it wasn't charged but that was not clear to me.

Hotel conveniently situated near the Englisher Garten. Relatively easy to park the car around. Good service (depends on the staff you meet...). Spacious rooms and good bed. Let's say a good standard international hotel. Price is OK. It's better to have a car to stay there. Nice to see that our animal friends are welcome! I will come back again.
The main problem is the breakfast: first of all it is quite expensive (23 EUR) and the quality and diversity is correct, but not fantastic. For example, there is no grapefruit juice... (You can try the Maritim Hotel in Dresden to see what a superb breakfast means!). The location of the restaurant room is nice, close to the little river, BUT in the morning, it's very crowded and you have to fight to get a table and to keep it during the time you are searching for food!!!. Good point however: you can have eggs made to order. As in many hotels, the elevators could be quite busy. I think the elevator companies should review their managing software.

What a fantastic hotel, we had a nice view from the 9th floor, a great sized room which was clean and very comfortable. Pool area is small but nice and clean and a good place to relax. The staff throughout the hotel were fantastic and went over and above to help. Breakfast is fantastic! Something for everyone there. The hotel is slightly out of Munich but beside the english garden which it’s perfect. Plenty of ways to get into Munich from hotel, taxi rank outside, bus stop or you can hire a bike or e scooter.
Only thing we didn’t like is we had no seats on our balcony.

I was somewhat surprised that the hotel has below 8 rating which apparently does not reflect the case. In real, I'd rate it for 9.5 and specified 10 here exactly to make its score higher. Reasoning is simple: the hotel is very quiet, staff/cleaning work very quietly, exceptional lobby, very fast elevators, panoramic windows, very spacy rooms, superb location, very good gym, swimming pool (although we never visited it), reasonable price. We were given 2 extra hours of late check out for free. Reception staff and concierge were also helpful and polite. Very good wi-fi. Printing facilities that we used. In fact that was one of the best hotels that we visited (we counted 20 countries in the last 2 years).
The window could've been cleaned since it was somewhat dirty. Also the teapot was clean but after boiling the water contained too much calc - likely because people before us were boiling tap water. Executive lounge isn't worth its money - only 2 hours of free drinks and snacks and somewhat overcrowded during that time.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially David. We travelled with our 7 year old son. The room was very spacious and the roll out bed was a perfect size for our son. The breakfast had a lot of options. The hotel is well serviced by buses. The 54 goes from right outside the door and a 5 min walk will bring to a bus stop had that's served by 3 different buses. All buses go to the local underground which is 5 min away. We went to see the Christmas markets in Marienplatz and Residenz and found using public transport the easiest option. The area where the hotel is quiet at night which we found great as there was no noise to disturb our sleep. There are restaurants 5 min away by bus. The pool is small but well maintained and great to use after a long day of walking around. Would highly recommend this hotel to everyone, especially families.

I like the location near the park and the family we have in Munich. Some good restaurants an east walk from the hotel and trams and buses to the town are easy. The rooms are a good size, beds comfortable and the balcony is great to have. They have room service and a self serve shop open 24hrs for snacks wine and water which is excellent. We were on the executive floor
To be honest the executive lounge isn’t good value although nice to have. There is a decent breakfast some pastries (they run out fast) and eggs and bacon in warmers, so it’s fine. Then during the day you can have water or soft drinks and maybe beer. For 2 hours only they have wine, ok quality, and a few snacks that didn’t look very nice so we didn’t eat any. So not like the feats you get in other hotels. Overall the decor of the hotel needs a refresh but it’s clean and beds are good, just old style bathrooms with shower curtains, some blistering of the surfaces of the furniture in the room. On the whole it’s fine, staff are excellent, pool is tiny but nice to have, it’s just a little pricy overall.

The hotel is in a nice location next to the English gardens, slightly outside of the city centre but with good public transport. The rooms are a good size and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was really enjoyable. We got room service the first night as we arrived quite late and it was good.
On the Saturday morning we were trying to go downstairs to breakfast at about 9. The first 5/6 lifts that came were full. In the end I tried to walk down the stairs to the lobby but the door was locked. I don't see the purpose of keeping this door locked. This seems like a fire hazard. The room we stayed in was an adjoining room. We could hear our neighbours (a young family) quite clearly. I think the sound was coming through the door, probably not an issue for most guests.

The location is fantastic. The Executive Lounge is definitely worth paying for the Executive room
4pm check-in is absolutely ridiculous, and so is Early check-in fee. To avoid these, you get the Executive room. There is no mini bar in the rooms and you are supposed to either order room service or go down to the lobby to buy something from the shop.
