Charming historic hotel with excellent customer service. The exterior, lobby, restaurant and bar are gorgeous; the hallways and rooms are very nice. What elevates it to the next level is the clearly ingrained staff culture of care and accommodation. Also appreciated the bourbon tasting (with live music!) and outstanding breakfast, both by the fire.

The restaurant, while stunningly beautiful, seemed a bit over the top, menu-wise (but admittedly we aren’t big steak fans) especially after a long day of travel. Fortunately there were a few other (but not as many as you’d think) options within walking distance.

Location was great. We went to a Rockies game and it is approximately a 8-10 minute walk from the hotel. The room was nice and quiet. Cute and quaint hotel. Lots of old features including the doors to the rooms. The Urban Farmer restaurant was amazing! Steak was to die for and the blue corn corn bread is exceptional.

The room (junior suite) was nice but a little tight for three. Our son slept on the couch. Not a lot of privacy for parents. There is a small wall (no door) separating the living space from the main bedroom. The bathroom was mediocre and not so clean. The floor felt like I needed a good mopping.

We had an exceptional stay at the Oxford Hotel! The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is gorgeous, with many thoughtful touches - like artwork and historical images. The continental breakfast and evening whiskey tastings were excellent, and the Cruise Room bar was lively and fun. And the location can't be beat - we walked everywhere, and were able to hop on the train to the airport on our way out.

The cost (with resort fees, etc) is a bit high, but totally worth it.

The Oxford exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect. The hotel is historic and beautiful and our room was gorgeous with a fireplace, ornamental mantle and a writing desk. The bed was incredibly comfortable. We enjoyed brunch at the Urban Farmer and a few nightcaps in the Cruise Room— amazing vibe. The nightly complimentary whiskey tasting was unique and delicious. The Oxford Club offers a fantastic sauna in the locker room, and my massage was fantastic. I can’t wait to stay here again!

All that I lacked was a mini fridge, but I packed a cooler and they brought ice as often as needed. The AC didn’t get down as frigid as i usually like it, but it wasn’t bad.

Staff was great and super friendly. Upgraded our room upon arrival and very accommodating for early check in. Loved the history of the hotel, the room, very comfortable bed, enjoyed the happy hour at Urban Farmer (restaurant in the hotel), and quaint grab and go breakfast snacks (a pastry, fruit, and charcuterie board - enough to hold us over for an early lunch but not a full breakfast). The location is prime - easy to get to everything we needed.

No room service or places nearby that are open late (we were there for a concert at Red Rocks amphitheater). And each morning there was a loud clunking type noise maybe related to the water/person above taking a shower? Older hotel so expect a few noises.

We loved our 4 night stay at the Oxford. The staff was so kind and the hotel is beautiful. Some bonuses: The speakeasy bar in the hotel. The bourbon tasting in the afternoon. The size of the room. The spa next door. The location!!! Some negatives: The air conditioning was nonexistent--we had to open windows at night, thus hearing nightlife noise. The breakfast is extremely limited--we ended up eating at a cafe next door. In general, the hotel is very expensive--especially parking. I would stay there again, however, because of the location, hotel atmosphere and the staff. But I would never stay in the summer time as the air conditioning is poor and--I would not bring a car to park.

Great location for everything. Beds were great. Staff was great. Cruise room was fun.

Old rooms so light came in through the doors and hallway noise was a problem. Breakfast was free but pretty weak as was the coffee. Not hot coffee is a problem.

This historic hotel was beyond charming. The staff was exceptionally receptive and helpful. They have a simple but elegant breakfast and something each evening in the lobby. The location is perfect and the hotel is accessible via train from the airport.

I can't think of anything I didn't like at the hotel. The only comment my husband had was that the sink was very small. Also there are homeless in the area but this is no fault of the hotel. It is a problem many cities face. The doormen were always on duty.

The staff was definitely the bright spot of the Oxford Hotel, especially Stewart, the Bellman, who was so helpful in all things LoDo. Everyone makes you feel welcome from the time you step into the lobby. The location was perfect, especially if you need to take the train, do a little shopping, walk to Larimer Square or attend a Rockies baseball game or a concert or game at Ball Arena. Continental breakfast buffet was perfect. And we enjoyed dining at the Urban Farmer.

Staying in an historic hotel, you are not going to get a large bathroom, closet, etc. Furniture is arranged to accommodate the room. The shower reminded me of those in Europe--very, very small. Sink in bathroom was tiny. Closet was so small, we had to remove the large ironing board to get our clothes in. And what made us laugh is we had to unscrew one of the bottom posts of the four-post bed to see the TV. The biggest complaint is that the coffee in the morning was always luke warm--had to go next door coffee shop for a hot cup. And, beware, along with all of the other fees, they charge a "historic preservation" fee. Having said all of that, we very much enjoyed our stay, and definitely plan to come back.

I was in Denver for work and booked my stay at the last minute through Booking.com. When I arrived to the hotel I was told the reservation hadn't gone through because it takes a day or two to process and the hotel was at capacity due to a large event in town. Nonetheless, the hotel finagled a room and honored the reservation, and I am deeply appreciative of the staff who worked hard to accommodate me! Beautiful building and rooms, wonderful relaxing lobby, and beyond exceptional staff. I stayed here because it was the only option I could find, but I will absolutely stay here again. I definitely want to check out the spa next time.

The sliders at the restaurant were "meh." No other complaints.
