beds not as comfortable as I expected but still ok. food menu was very dull and fried were terrible (looked and tasted reheated) limited sparkling alcohol drinks. didn’t know they did cocktails until I saw a small sign on the actual bar.

All the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was varied each morning. I was greeted in the morning to check up on me if everything was alright with my room. Housekeeping service, room service and reception were all responsive to my phone calls extremely quickly and delivered the task I was after promptly. The hotel was very spacious, a nice waiting room for taxis and staff looking out for your taxi driver. The 24 hour service bookings for tours was excellent and helped us out with a complicated park entrance fee for Nairobi National Park etc. The bar staff were amazing so fun and friendly ordering drinks and going out of their way to split our bills, food was served so quickly. Upstairs was great with the pool and rooftop etc. I returned back because it was such an amazing place to stay. A big shout out to a few amazing staff members: Patrick, Carolyne, Florence, Denis, Linda and Many.

I have no complaints with anything about this hotel.

A very nice buffet breakfast, the swimming pool on the roof is clean and although small worth using when it’s hot, the roof has a pleasant seating area with cold beer. Safe feel inside as there is a security guide and a barrier outside

The mattress is very soft, much to soft for us. The location was a bit rough, there are a few restaurants nearby which we found on Trip Advisor, we walked there when it was still bright and took Uber back as we didn’t feel comfortable walking back.

We stayed at the Best Western Meridian Plus for our first 2 nights in Nairobi before heading off on safari. It was just what we needed to rest after our flight to Kenya and as a base to explore Nairobi the next day. Our room was a good size with a comfortable double bed, fridge to keep water cool, and a decent bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful in the morning with a range of options for the buffet style breakfast. We also ate at the restaurant on our second night and found the portions more than enough for us. We found the staff to be very friendly and always available to answer any questions.

We didn't use all of the facilities, so do not think we could comment on these, however everything else we did experience was fine.

The hotel is located right in the vibrant city centre of Nairobi and is very safe, I also found the surrounding area safe. It is easy to reach from the airport. Sights, markets, the museum, green areas, many shops and good cafes and restaurants within walking distance. My room was very clean, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, a large wardrobe, fast wifi, a small sitting area and a small desk. A very clean and nice bathroom. And all at a great price. Perfect! For breakfast there was a large selection of different . Everything was very fresh and tasty, when something ran out it was replaced immediately. There were even milk alternatives for breakfast, for example soya milk. I also had dinner at the hotel several times, the flavour and quality were outstanding and at a really good price. The restaurant was also very clean, quiet and tastefully decorated with beautiful pictures.

Actually, I have nothing to complain about at all. It was my best hotel in Nairobi so far and I will definitely spend my next stay in Nairobi there too. But if it wants to be even better, then maybe offer porridge or wimbi for breakfast. Sometimes, when many other guests have probably already showered, the shower water was only lukewarm.

In other best western hotels, steam, sauna, gym and pool is included in the package, at least in Addis Ababa it is the case. The fact there is no balcony, windows for fresh air or a nice view. The fact the hotel didn't send a car /shuttle to pick me up although this was communicated in advance via email with Elizabeth. Also on my way back to the airport, the car was late taking me there. Here in Addis, transport or hotel shuttle is free or at least included in The price. Also 28 dollars is expensive.

I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus Meridian Hotel in Nairobi and had a wonderful experience. The staff, especially Nelson and Patrick, were exceptionally helpful and attentive throughout my stay. Their dedication to excellent service truly enhanced my visit. The hotel’s central location in Nairobi’s CBD made it convenient for both business and sightseeing. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the amenities, including the spa and pool, added to the overall enjoyment of my stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nairobi.

We spent a night pre- & post safari at this hotel, and were very happy with the comfort and service. A lot of the staff chatted to us and made us feel comfortable from the start. The rooms were comfortable & we left the hotel well rested. I’d definitely stay here again. Special thanks to Patrick, who made sure we got to the airport before the June demonstrations in Nairobi started - we appreciate it so much.

The only thing I can think of is, when I had breakfast at 6am, all of the food wasn’t ready and I wasn’t really given any service. I wasn’t made to feel very welcome at that time, but the morning we ate breakfast later, everyone was very welcoming.

I have stayed at this hotel for the forth time in the last three years. As ever, i like central location, the decent rooms and staff that run it. The king suite room has a wonderful bed with a soft mattress, kitchenette, a working desk and a lovely shower cubicle. The room was also impeccably clean. After a horrendous cock-up about my check-in issues, both Jeddidah and Mary were exemplary in managing my frustration over what had happened the previous evening. They upgraded me to a king suite room at no extra cost which i enormously appreciated. I thank them for their beautiful courtesy after the ordeal. I will certainly use the hotel once again.

My first night check-in ordeal - whose apologies i have accepted and thus moved on.

Location was very convenient, pretty close to the shuttle stop to go to Arusha, we could walk there. I liked that it is has a 24 hour front desk so we could do late check-in first day we arrived. Breakfast was great, with many options, local food and also international options. They also prepared breakfast boxes when we had to leave the hotel earlier than breakfast time. Room was comfortable and clean, loved that there is air-conditioning! Overall good value for money. Not luxury hotel but very comfortable and had everything we needed.

Gym was not very equipped. Also we had dinner there one time and it was ok, nothing special. There are so many different nice places to go in the city so I would not recommend the hotel restaurant.
