The hotel is centrally located where there are plenty of restaurants and shops to choose from as well as an artisan marker practically out the front door. There's a nice breakfast place just outside of the entrance to the hotel that served great coffee, breakfasts and other meals. The staff was very good and helpful in all cases. I left my hat and they kept it until I returned 2 weeks later. The room was a suite that had tons of space and a balcony off of the living room.

The hotel building itself is dated and needs some basic improvements or updates such as new hot water tanks, some bathroom updates, and in-general some TLC.

For Kenyan conditions, that hotel was ok. It was good location, spacious size, and very interesting construction that keped building cool even in a hot weather. Of course it was not such a stander you would expect in Europe, but for Kenyan conditions it was very good. First room i did get had weird smell in the bathroom, and i did not like it. Girl in reception helped me (her name was Lynda) and after maybe one hour of waiting in a room, i was given new one that was great. They did allow me to check in before check in time, and i felt that stuff is really looking after me. Manager was nice and friendly to, once he came to get me to my next room, and helped me with the luggage. If i will return to Kenya, i will stay here again.

Some windows had broken lockers, and it was impossible to lock them permanently, which did not gave me feeling of security. Broken lockers in windows were present in both rooms i was staying in.

Everything was great, the staff is friendly. The hotel is nice and secure. It has a good location close to good local and international restaurants. It is also close to the old city market. Just under the hotel, there is a very good massage place that I recommend trying. There is also a coffee shop under the hotel where the food and coffee are really good. Just 600 meter away have one restaurant called klimenjoro Jamia restaurant, it's local restaurant sooooo good food for very good price, nice and clean. The only problem is that the bathrooms may need some renovation. The water flow is a bit weak, and no matter what I do, water collects next to the toilet.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. The place was older but kept very clean. I was upgraded from a studio to a one bedroom suite with a kitchen. It was so nice to be able to make a few meals at what felt like a temporary home. I also had a large balcony with a view. I was apprehensive to take a taxi to the airport, as I had a flight in the middle of the night. The front desk accommodated me by personally introducing me to the driver. I was able to get in touch with him as he gave me his WhatsApp. This added an extra layer of reassurance! I would definitely recommend this hotel. Great value for your money.

Everything exceeded my expectations.

The location is excellent, in the city centre with many services and tourist sites close by. The room was large, like a small flat, with a kitchen with cooking utensils, tea and coffee. Living room with sofas and TV, dining table, desk, daily replenishment of bath products and daily cleaning. Everything was great for a 6-night stay. Very helpful and attentive staff.

The breakfast, for the price, wasn't entirely satisfactory, there was bread on only one day, for example. There's no restaurant.

The room was spacious and comfortable to stay for four nights. The location of the hotel is good - not very noisy neighborhood with restaurants and groceries around. The staff was helpful and pleasant.

You should consider that this hotel is old (or at least looks so). At first sight it looked as it is not so clean, but it us just because everything is used so many times and definately needs a renovation.

We had stayed for 2 days 25th, 26th August, 2023 I am giving top ranking not because it is a high class luxurious hotel or any such things. The convenient location at CBD center with all required amenities, good clean maintenance at this Price Point deserves a real high ranking. We stayed in Chester Suits Studio Apartment for two days. It has fully equipped Bed Room cum Drawing Room cum Dining Table within a large room. Mosquito Net included. Fully Equipped Kitchen with Refrigerator, Induction Heater cum Oven, Microwave Oven, Toaster, Utensils, Plates, Laddles, Spoons... fully equipped. Hotel is very conveniently located at center of CBD, opposite General Market and Naivas Super Bazar on next Street. We had brought Noodles and other easy cook items from the Super Bazar and made our own meals. Though the building is slightly old, it is well maintained. All upholstery, Bed bedsheet everything clean. House keeping is good and prompt. Our flight was at 8pm and checkout time was 10am. But looking at availability of rooms, management allowed us time till 12.00 to check out and thereafter keep the luggage at their office to be collected at 4.30 pm which helped us a lot

The place is quiet and very clean. My friends came to visit me and I had a couple Of meetings in my room and my visitors were very welcome. I also left valuables and they were very safe i didn’t lose anything. I felt safe at the hotel.

The lifts are very old.

Chester hotel gave me everything I looked forward to. The room was as displayed on bookings.com. The studio apartment was quite spacious and I loved the balcony from which I had a nice view of the city. It's very clean and room service was always on time. The staff are also very nice. I was allowed to check in around 4:00am since my flight arrived very early in the morning. I was also allowed after I pleaded with the beautiful lady at the reception to check out around 2:00pm since my flight was for 6:30pm if no one was taking the room. The hotel is actually close to a lot of places which are in fact trekkable. It's close to Tuksys, Uhuru park, National Museum of Kenya, City market, CJ's, and lots of other places. It was very easy getting a bolt ride from the hotel and the fare was good too considering its closeness to various places I visited. The WIFI was great too. You could access one in your room, at the reception and at the Artecaffee( restaurant on the ground floor). The airport pick up was on time, in fact he waited for me to pass through immigration and baggage claim which took some time. Though the fare was quite high @ $30 compared to using a bolt ride which would have cost around $6 or $7. But nevertheless it was convenient. Overall I enjoyed my stay at Chester Hotel and Apartments.

Some of the facilities were old fashioned like the bathtub and some kitchen utensils. The provision of a microwave would be great.

The hotel is in a great location, staff were absolutely fantastic so helpful and friendly, Joseph was keeping my apartment so clean and tidy everyday he was fantastic, the café downstairs was great, lovely food and staff so friendly, breakfast in the hotel was lovely something different everyday and again staff couldn’t be nicer
