We had a good size room on 11th Floor, City view but nothing of note, Shower was hot and powerful. Breakfast was great - Three choices of Hot food (Potatoes, Egg and Meat and plenty of other choices (cereals/yoghurt/waffles/toast/fruit). The location was great for transport with buses/metro and cable car all on nearby Market Street. Bus to GG Bridge is a few yards outside - take it over the bridge then walk back over it and catch the return bus from the Toll Plaza Stop). There are several eateries and a variety of shops nearby too.

All good with the hotel itself. There is a homeless community in the surrouding streets, particularly in the rear street and up to 4th St but we never felt threatened, uncomfortable yes and certainly sad to see, There were some top class hotels and stores in the adjacent streets so the area is not as bad as some make it out to be. I would stay there again given the other advantages of which value for money is another.

The rooftop access was an added bonus. The breakfast was good to start the day.

Didn’t love the area. Not the hotels fault but there were a lot of homeless in the area. We thought the valet parking fee of $70 a night was extreme. We stayed 4 nights it was almost an extra $300! Only one elevator was working for most of our stay and the ac wasn’t adequate in the halls and the breakfast area. I felt that the room got a bit warm too. Also, I can’t remember the last hotel I stayed in that didn’t have a fridge in the room.

Great city views from our room & also the roof area. Relaxed & ample breakfast choices. Really nice to have a walk-in shower rather than shower over bath. Walking distance to MUNI,BART & other transport options. walking distance to high end shopping as well as Target & Bloomingdales. We walked for the entire time ...down to the waterfront, up to the Coit Tower, down Grant Street through China Town. Plenty of choices to grab a meal nearby.

This is not the fault of the hotel BUT you do need to be aware that the area on Mission Street between say 4th & 7th Streets can be confronting with groups of homeless gathered. We were not accosted but it did make us not want to venture out at night.

Nice place with friendly service. Rooms were clean and functional although not very spacious. The hotel offered a gym which was okay. The roof top was nice (I wonder why there wasn't any services though) and had a good view around the city. The breakfast was good (but they have some issues with the ac because there was really hot). The hotel is about 45min walk from the Fisherman's Wharf but it is a great stroll through Chinatown etc. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes and shops around the hotel.

The vallet parking worked like a charm but was a bit expensive. There are parking halls around with much cheaper price. You must have your key card with you all the time or you get stuck. I guess it is because the big city problems overall...

I received a nice room on an upper floor, nice view of the San Francisco Chronicle building and the SF skyline. The room is not large but is very well laid out and had everything I needed. I would likely stay here again.

The surrounding area is a little dicey, lots of homeless people but the hotel does try to keep the area in front of the hotel clean and clear. I didn't have any issues to report that were negative.

breakfast was included and provided options. enjoyed the area where breakfast was held as well. Rooftop and view from room was nice. There was extra security to enter hotel as well as the rooms in elevator. The bed size was decent and comfy. Appreciated the full sized shampoo/conditioner bottles in shower. staff was nice and welcoming. Got snacks from the tiny area at the front desk that were available for purchase when all stores nearby were closed. union square and the cable car and a target were all in decent walking distance from hotel.

The area wasn’t too bad but there were homeless laying right outside hotel. we had an ant infestation in our room all the way at the top floor. Though we did appreciate the extra security with the key cards, you needed to have one on you at all times in order to step on elevator which sometimes we forgot.

Great hotel near the center of SF, 5-10 minute walk to Union Square with all the shops. Nice room. Great staff, very friendly. The valet parking is a good service, but quite expensive.

Breakfast was ok, but quite standard. No cheese or ham. Just the usual: eggs, bacon or sausage, cereals, some fruit. What I don't like: plastic! I understand the idea of recycling, but it feels rather cheap to eat from paper and plastic.....

Breakfast was fresh with a good choice of options. The room was a decent size with a great view and basic toiletries as well as fridge and safe. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The location is great if you like to do a little walking and are realistic about the homeless issues in SanFran. Otherwise you might prefer somewhere more central. There's a couple of great little restaurants nearby that have take-out options!

The room was spotlessly clean and the beds were comfortable. The room decor was very nice too. The breakfast options were great, there was plenty of hot food for everyone and it all tasted very good. The best part of the stay for us was the helpfulness of the staff. We arrived very late due to a delayed flight but staff were super accommodating. Although it was very expensive ($60 per night) for valet parking, it was great knowing our car was securely parked and easily accessible. You just give them 15 minutes notice of when you need your vehicle and its ready and waiting for you outside. We decided that we preferred paying the higher amount and having valet parking compared to having to park far away from the hotel at cost of $30+ dollars.

The room was a bit on the small side for 4 people. We only stayed for one evening so it didn't impact us much because we left out big cases in the car. I don't think we'd have been able to really move around in that particular room if we had brought all our luggage to the room with us. Also noticed that the two USB sockets on the bedside panel weren't working. TV is also a bit tricky to work out as you can only view the guide on one channel and have to wait for it to revolve to see what's on.

Staff was very friendly. They were helpful and always willing to assist any of my needs. They were also very professional and understood many aspects of hospitality.

Location has a lot of homeless and depressed people as you walk out of the hotel. It was only because of APEC week that the homeless and drug infected area was swept away by authorities and also had a lot of police presence that kept it safe.
