Amazing place, secluded yet very near from centre ubud. Its about 10-15 minute walk to the main areas.

Cleaning was not superb, they made the room each day but some trash was next to the bin and the bathroom smelled like old water. Not too bad but not great.

The staff was very accommodating to us especially when we request for packed breakfast because we have a very early guided tour. And when we informed them that we will arrived around 2 midnight, they have someone to wait for us.

That breakfast begins at 7am instead of 6am (although a minor inconvenience). I thought our breakfast also to be buffet type though. 😅 Personally, the location is very near Ubud Central but it would take minutes to get there because it's inside a street inside another street. I just did not expect the entry to the villa to be a bit narrow and full of twist and turn.

the staff - Wayan and Madee - definitely went the extra mile to ensure that our stay was a lovely experience in all aspects. Breakfast was tasty and substantial, the room had all we needed for a comfortable stay, and their provision of a driver to take us to nearby places of interest was very responsive and ideal. It had a lovely local family vibe and we were made to feel very welcome, almost one of the family. We would struggle to think of anything negative at all - one of the best 'homestay' hotels that we have stayed in. We would love to return one day.

For the price we paid, it is hard to say how it could have been better. Being really picky, the wardrobe door didn't slide too well.

+ Great location - you are away from the busyness of the centre so it is nice and peaceful, but then only a 5 minute walk away from the start of the main street. + The staff (especially Dinda) are all very welcoming and friendly. They would always say hello as you walk past and check how your day was. Dinda was more than happy to help with providing taxis and any excursions, and all at a great price. + Plenty of options for breakfast and very flexible with timings. We climbed Mount Batur one day and she gave us breakfast when we returned at 10.30am which was very kind - always willing to go out of her way. + The villa setting was beautiful - the pool was very tranquil and the rooms were clean and spacious. They cleaned and gave bottles of water every day. New towels and bedding were also provided as we stayed for 5 nights. It was nice to sit outside on the terrace. Air conditioning was good and tea making facilities too.

I can't say a single negative thing. This accommodation offers excellent value for money, with everything available for a pleasant stay. The staff was kind and professional, the food was delicious, and the surroundings were wonderful. I can wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone—this place is a surefire choice.

We loved Pundi Kaya! The villas were lovely and had everything you need. The facilities are kept meticulously. The pool is perfect and sits in the middle between the four villassurriunded by beautiful tropical foliage. A nice simple breakfast is delivered to your villa. The hosts/owners were so kind and helpful. They also provide a car/driver for hire if you need it. They can arrange excursions too. The villa is within walking distance of one of the main streets in Ubud. You will not be disappointed in staying at Pundi Kaya.

Beautiful and peaceful villas, renovated and very comfortable, with a small pool between the rooms. Location was perfect, close to everything both walking distance and by bike/car. Staff was friendly, they also insisted on driving me to the airport (for an additional competitive fee), and the driver tried really hard to make sure I reach on time for my flight (the traffic was crazy and it was my fault that I’ve left a little late).

While there were many breakfast options on the menu, I didn’t particularly enjoy the ones I tried (we pre-paid our breakfast).

This hotel is a lovely peaceful retreat, close to everything in Ubud. It is owned by a local family, who are the kindest and most helpful people in all of Ubud in our opinion. They were very happy to help with every single request at a very fair price. We had the family arrange a private taxi tour all around Ubud area for half a day at only 300,000 RP (very fair price compared to competition) where they waited for us at all stops. The room was clean and the bed was nice to sleep in. The breakfast was tasty (we liked the omelet and fried rice). Each room has a lovely little front terrasse where you can enjoy your breakfast.

There was not much to not like about this hotel. I would recommend that they put more water in the room, but If you asked them for more water, they of course were happy to bring it to your room.

The villas are spacious and clean. The best are super comfortable, and the location feels like an oasis in the middle of a busy city. Made, Wayan and their staff go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as they can. We didn't want to leave and missed it while we were at our other hotels in Bali. Will definitely be back and recommend this to anyone traveling to bali

The staff are friendly and very welcoming, you get a breakfast every morning, very clean grounds and rooms. My husband had a short notice laundry request and the wonderful manager who runs the Villas, made sure it was done we left the next day….She was amazing!

For us the villas were perfect.
