We had an amazing stay in Pesaren and couldn’t be happier with our experience at this hotel. The staff were absolutely wonderful – always friendly, attentive, and ready to assist with anything we needed. One of the highlights of our mornings was the dragon fruit smoothie offered at breakfast – we fell in love with it! The location is also great, providing easy access to local attractions, but quite peaceful atmosphere in the meantime. Doesn’t look to be in the city.

The only minor issue we had was with the room assignment. When we booked, it wasn’t made clear that there were different types of rooms, and based on the pictures, it looked like all the rooms were around the pool. Unfortunately, ours wasn’t, and had we known from the start, we would have requested a poolside room, as it would have enhanced our experience, especially for a week-long stay like ours. This didn’t ruin our trip, but it’s something to keep in mind when booking!

The Pesaren is a magical place, 2 minutes by scooter from the center of Ubud. It is surrounded by greenery and tranquility, with a swimming pool that overlooks the jungle from above. All the staff is wonderful, young, kind and helpful, always smiling, they constantly work to make you feel at home, the cleanliness is impeccable. Working remotely everything was exceptional, a medium range wifi of 110mbs. The breakfast's were excellent ,with the possibility of choosing each time from 4 options available. A special thanks to Mr Made who has helped us enormously in everything, a very good man every time for doubtful advice or anything, trust him and you will not regret it. Thank you guys!!! Its only 8 rooms facing the infinity pool with jungle outlook. Its very private. aircon, comfy beds and shower room under sky light. Breakfast was substantial to start the day. I was able to hire a scooter directly from accommodation, which is great option as a little away from main street. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great wifi. Will consider staying again next time when visiting Ubud.

The jungle view from the river rooms is absoluteley amazing, we stayed for 10 nights and I enjoyed the pool as well. staff was very friendly and polite, whenever we wanted they brought is the breakfast on our balcony. Also, the short walk to centre is a big advantage of the hotel. Regarding the breakfast, they have 3 main menus (indonesian, american, continental) from which you can chose each day, I would say it is pretty good.

I cannot think of anything I didn't like, maybe the lizzards which are everywhere in Bali, haha :)

We stayed at The Pesaren for two night and it was a lovely small hotel with only eight rooms so felt really quiet and tranquil. The pool is lovely and overlooks the jungle so was great to spend time relaxing. The room was clean and tidy with plenty of space. The breakfasts, including the banana pancakes were exceptional, there was lots of fresh fruit and juice, really good.

What did we like about the property? Absolutely everything!!! Spacious room, enough to play tag in. Housekeeping everyday, keeps the room so clean and tidy. Big bath tub, fun for two; and shower. Toilet, clean and squirts water where the sun don’t shine. Outdoor pool, monkeys visit and join you while you swim - no joke; so do keep your valuables in your room when you swim. In the morning, breakfast is included and I don’t know why the breakfast review is low but it’s a lie. The breakfast is scrumptious and you have options what to have, honestly, no complaints (just the flies). The location is also convenient, the shops and restaurants is only 5 minutes down the road! All in all, we had a lovely time! I encourage who reads this comment to stay at this property. Kudos to all the Staff who made our stay exceptional! Shout out to Smiley Rai - who checked us in and there every time!

The hot water supply was great and could fill the whole bathtub for a wonderful hot soak...loved it. Staff were very helpful always every ready to help.

The toilet commode should be changed as they have been in use for too long.......some of the stains cannot be removed and it made the commode look dirty. Breakfast portions were too small. There should be a few more sun loungers beside the pool

To be perfectly honest, I don't want to talk this place up too much because I want there to be room availability when I get there. I was in a garden view room. It was quiet. I have already booked for my next stay and this time I have chosen a review room which will provide me with a little bit more privacy.

You can hear some noise between rooms on occasion. One evening there was some very loud music from another room.

Best staff ever! Always friendly, welcoming, and ready to help when needed. The hotel is in a quiet area, a short walk from the city centre. Nice and clean pool, spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds. Stable and reliable wi-fi, I worked remotely and had no issues at all. Delicious breakfast made fresh every morning.

The bathroom floor could use a renovation, it was the only downside of the whole property. The rocks in the shower get dirty with hair, and it's impossible to clean it is a bit disgusting. The shower head wasn't at its best, but it was okay to wash short hair. A nice idea would be to add a shampoo tray in the bathroom.

I had a wonderful stay at the Pesaren. I booked the corner room with the river view and so glad I did! I was literally surrounded with nature and lush greens. I loved how I could hear the insects, birds, rushing of water, and all the wildlife in the forest. It was magical. The room was quite comfortable and spacious. Their breakfast was also lovely. The staff were nice and attentive to my needs. The resort doesn't have a lot of rooms and I particularly liked that as it gives more privacy. My only regret was that I only booked two nights here (wished I have stayed longer!). If I go back to Ubud, I will definitely come back to this place.

There were some ants (small and big) that I saw in my room. Although it's quite understandable as it's near nature and wildlife. Their shower area also needs some bit of maintenance and cleaning.
