Excellent placeI recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel, and I must say, it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The highlight of my visit was definitely the room with a stunning mountain view. Waking up to such a beautiful sight was truly refreshing. The room itself was spacious, well-maintained, and immaculately tidy, providing a perfect blend of comfort and cleanliness. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and memorable experience. The combination of the great staff, the beautiful view, and the superb room made my visit truly exceptional.

10/10 for absolutely everything! First things first, Denis, our host was absolutely fantastic and accommodating for us to check in late so we can enjoy the lovely weather. He also gave us really good trail recommendations since our plans to do the Crossing have been cancelled. The room itself was big, clean, comfortable with a huge bed and new facilities in the bathroom and kitchen. The shower was a delight! And to top everything, there is a hot tub to enjoy after a long day of hiking. Best place in NZ so far.

We arrived at Ohakune Railway Station and looked at our transport options which were very limited. We called the accommodation to ask for advice and the owner - Denis - said he would be right over to pick us up - how kind. The room was just lovely and had a kitchenette so we could cater for ourselves. The motel had a hot tub which we used on both nights of our stay - just great. Ohakune was a great little town and we enjoyed our stop off here very much.

Excellent customer service provided by staff and the proprietors throughout our entire stay. Spacious, modern, fully self contained unit with tons of space to stretch out and relax. Can definitely have several people inside for drinks and a get together and not feel cramped. Rooms fully serviced each day and an unexpected surprise was our dishes (which we weren't expecting) put away after we left them to air dry. Dry room available along with heated spa pool and being only a few minutes walk to the shopping precinct make this an ideal choice. No hesitation in staying here again!

Nothing at all - I've travelled and stayed at accommodation around the world and appreciate good customer service, and we definitely had that!

The owner of the property was so nice and friendly, you could tell he really cares about his guests. He even gave us some of his own butter to use to let us cook up a quick dinner. The place itself was so modern and comfortable, probably the best place we stayed in North Island. Stayed to be able to do the Tongariro crossing, which was easily accessible from here. Facilities were great, including a drying room to dry our washed clothes. Apartment was serviced everyday, including washing our dishes we didn't have time to clear up before heading off on our trek!

Apparently the rooms were renovated 5 years ago but they are still spotless. Real quality in the kitchen, wonderful comfortable bed and the first bathroom on our trip that didn’t have some sort of issue, in fact it was super. Great location, super friendly and helpful hosts , I doubt there’s much better comfort and value in Okakune .

The room was very spacious with a lovely high ceiling. very well lit, clean and warm. All modern appliances, fixtures and fittings. It’s in a great location, everything in Ohakune is within walking distance, and just a quick drive to Turoa. Also, the manager was very helpful and friendly.

Just a small thing considering how comfortable we were in the unit really & that was for both of us we found with the shower (after getting it to good temperature) the water kept going from scalding hot to freezing cold constantly. Needless to say we both ended up having 'very' quick showers, lol.

Don't be put off by the outside appearance when you first arrive - the unit itself was brilliant - clean, well appointed and the vaulted ceiling gives a feeling of spaciousness. Great location (next to the Police Station) and handy to all the town has to offer.

Recently refurbished motel rooms. Welcoming staff. Attractive, comfortable and warm as toast with radiator heating. Spotlessly clean.Plenty of hot water. Drying room. Just a few minutes walk to restaurants, cafes and shops. Will definitely stay there again.
