Nice and clean room, plenty of space, good kitchen facilities and the bathroom was nice. The spa bath was an extra bonus - as well as the spa and sauna facilities available on site. Very friendly staff made sure we had easy check in and were comfortable during our stay. Such a great location in the middle of Ohakune, easy to get to great food and outdoor adventures.

No significant dislikes, we had a great stay. Only trivially, the beds were very soft & springy which some people may like, but we prefer firm beds.

Extremely helpful staff - very friendly family feel to the motel. Accommodated all our requests. Room size was excellent for us. Bed was very comfortable. Large bathroom - ideal for families or groups of friends. Spa bath was a bonus and would be great in winter after being on the slopes. Location ideal for walking into town or going on the nearby trails. Great views of the mountain. Quiet stay despite the many other residents.

Would have preferred a room onto the gardens - wasn't aware of the choice.

A great little place to stay. Staff were super helpful and very prompt at fixing a couple of minor issues that we had with our room - that were well outside their control. Good prices for this time of year in this location. Plenty of space and room to car parking etc.

Nothing in particular - only could have done with a few more hooks/shelving to put stuff like coats on in the main area of our room.

Easy parking straight out our door, the room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable.

The heating wasn’t efficient for the room, the wall heater was noisey so we didn’t use it, which left us with a small heater that wasn’t able to heat the room. The tv was too small for the size of the room and we had to watch tv up close. Also the hot water was intermittent when showing it woul did been nice to have good hot shower of being out in the cold.

I was bought up in Ohakune and crossed the swing bridge every day on the way to school. Location is half way between the town and Junction and an easy walk both ways. The room was suitable for a nights stay and probably longer if we had the time.

View of the mountain from the room was blocked by a tree but oK from out on the footpaths. There was nothing not to like as it filled our needs. I am not that picky.

In the king deluxe we stayed in need to put a pantry in that cubby hole maybe few more shelves to put your shopping on :-) and another rail sp you can pull Your self up from In the bath but yes great bed was so good ill stay again thanks

The Staff she was very polite and considerate Bed was so comfortable and the bath was excellent. Plenty of supplies towels, sugar, coffee, tea. Thank you for moving us to another unit it was alot more private and wished for a garden view. Thanks

A little too quiet expected some of the neighbors celebrating New Years Eve that night. just a suggestion maybe the staff should provide some sought of festive friendly and inviting entertainment to bring in the New Year.

A very handy motel with good facilities. It was very clean and had all the good motel features one would expect. It was roomy. It was in a good location within walking distance ro driving distance if preferred of the small township of Ohakune.

I reported to the management that the bedside light was not working and there was trouble connecting the television. Otherwise a very good visit.

It was warm and inviting. Great room layout. The bed was warm with the electric blanket and we could watch TV from in the bed only stayed one night as we were travelling up the north island but would definitely stay there when in Ohakune

Good kitchen facilities, room and bathroom did not feel cramped, could park right outside, open ranchslider to the rear, excellent location close to town and skifield, relatively new and clean inside.

Quite a bit of leaves, plant growth blowing around and accumulating in front of unit, beds were comfy but if were a bit wider would be even comfier, bathroom exhaust fan very noisy when first turned on, a bright outside light would shine through the kitchen window at night even with the blinds closed.
