The beds were so cosy and comfy! the lockers under the beds were HUGE and the curtains blocked were practically black-out, got some of the best sleep of my trip while staying here. Also the main common area was so pretty, and with the glass roof its such a cosy space when it rains

it's not a point against the hostel, just a heads up to fellow travellers that this hostel is a little out of the way from the main city/attraction areas and is a good bit away from the beach, but luckily there are bus stops for two of the main bus lines like a street or two away from the hostel!

Excellent and veeeeery friendly staff. Everything is very clean, bathrooms/showers are great and the bed have very good privacy with the curtain. Well organized, you have a key for your room and a large locker to store your belongings safely. Nice common room with open kitchen and large eating table to eat all together. Every one has a box to store their food. Very good internet. Nice Whatsapp Group chat with daily local tipps, of bars, clubs and events places to go. The common room has a glas roof, which is nice since you see the sky and have a kind of being outside feeling. Great equipped kitchen. Tasteful decoration, that you can feel at home. During Christmas there are candles and a Christmas tree. On Christmas eve the staff organized some tapas, sangria and other stuff to sit all together. Very nice cosy atmosphere. Lovely staff asked if I wanted my bed sheet changed after extending and being there already 5 days. Breakfast is good and included when you book right with the hostel.

Just that the common room is not heated during winter and at some evenings it felt cold to me. Otherwise all is excellent!

I have stayed in a couple of Hostel, but Cantagua is really one of the best. It has a really cool family vibe. The community, Baptiste at the reception and all the staff are very friendly, I simply felt like at home. Moreover, the custom made beds are very comfortable, doesnt make any noise when you are moving or climbing up. Also, the curtains make it very private.

As usual there are always a couple of things that could be changed or repaired. However, when I mentioned Baptiste at the reception that the pans are kind of used, he agreed and the second day there were completely new ones available.

The staff were so cool and kind here. They really enjoyed having my practice my gringo-español with them! ;) I loved the breakfast, location, and how social the hostel was. I would love to come back here in the summertime when it is peak season. I feel like it'd be easier to meet even more new friends there. The actual hostel itself was just so cute and lovely and clean. Great bathrooms too. The beds were fantastic as well. I can't wait to come back to Valencia someday and stay here again!

Honestly, there wasn't anything that I disliked. Everything was fantastic. (I know that isn't helpful feedback, but it truly was just a perfect stay!).

Super nice hostel and helpful staff. Very good location in walking distance both to the old town and the City of Arts and Sciences. You can also rent a bike at the hostel, though they are not in the best shape. Bathroom very clean.

It would be better to have the sinks in the bathroom rather than inside the room as this easil wakes up people who are already sleeping. Unfortunately every night there were people coming in very late or leaving very early so the sleep was not the best.

Super cozy interior. Especially the „get together area“ looks super nice and makes it super easy to get to know people. Nice staff which are organizing trips, game nights etc and are in general super nice and helpful if you need anything. The hostel was also very clean

The air condition. That’s actually limiting so much potential. Even if you are having a super nice conversation, playing games or eating together with your new friends… it just doesn’t make as much fun as it could when it’s like 35 degrees inside because the AC only gets switched on during the night. Sometimes we would even go outside for a quick walk because it was cooler there. I get the environmental idea behind it but maybe like don’t let the temperature exceed certain limits where it gets uncomfortable

The property is amazing with lovely staff. They put lots of effort arranging events for ppl who stay in hostel and there are loads of opportunities for you to meet people. They also give us great tips to explore the city.

The property is great literally have nothing to complain about. The AC in the room was a bit broken so it was dripping water for a bit but they get it fixed the next day (super efficient!)

super social hostel with almost only solo travellers, always doing things together also within activities organized by the hostel. whatsapp group for all guest. a big living room with kitchen so that you can hang out together and meet other guests. really clean rooms and comfortable beds with curtins. One of the best hostels I’ve been to.

the hostel was amazing the only thing which could be improved is breakfast it was very simple with only toast, tee, coffe and orange juice. no eggs or fruits but for 3,5€ you cant ask for more so its fine. there are boxes which can be used to store your own food as well.

The rooms were very comfortable & it was great to have the privacy curtains for your bed. Also the beds had a little shelf where you could keep your things & lockers below the bunks. The common area was very relaxing and clean. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Staff cleaned each room & it’s attached bathroom every day which was nice. Our room was so clean!

A couple of nights the AC wasn’t on and it got very hot and stuffy in the room. Not a big deal but just make sure to ask that it’s turned on! Also there was a pretty bad sewage smell in the common room that would come & go. Hopefully it was just a temporary thing.

This is one of the best hostels I have been to! It's clean, well located, the staff is friendly and willing to help, the common area is comfy, the bed has curtains for privacy, and the locker is big. They have a WhatsApp group that you can join and be updated about activities promoted by the hostel and also what is happening in the city (events and places to visit or eat). You can leave your luggage with them before the check-in or after the check-out for free. It's a hostel that makes it easy to meet the other guests which is nice for solo travelers that wanna share experiences and not feel alone. I recommend it 100% and would be here again for sure!
