This hotel was immaculately clean and we felt very welcome by all staff we encountered. We arrived in the morning and they kindly accommodated storing our bags until check-in. Very affordable and our balcony made it feel super luxurious for our evening drink - complete with amazing views. We had to leave before breakfast began and they arranged for a picnic breakfast to take with us when we left and we were not expecting that much food - it was very generous. The room itself was spacious and the beds, including the signed, was very comfortable. Highly recommend!!

Only because we chose to walk with our backpacks and a sick 8 year old it felt like an age to get there. But really, it’s t wasn’t that bad. The only other complaint is the shower doesn’t have a screen all the way across so the water got everywhere in the bathroom…but we were provided with many towels so it wasn’t that big of a deal and we just dried it up.

The hotel matched the description on Booking perfectly. The room (303) was spacious with a partial view of The Matterhorn from our balcony, ample storage, large mirrors, and a safe. They even offered luggage storage after checkout. The breakfast was delightful in the charming restaurant. Overall, the hotel exuded a mountain resort ambiance, fitting for a place like Zermatt. Although the room key was quite large, it could conveniently be left at the reception when going out.

The sole inconvenience was the shower in the bathtub, which had a small cover to prevent water from spraying onto the bathroom floor. However, the presence of a window is a very good feature, allowing for quick access to fresh air after using the facility.

We stayed in the ground floor quadruple room. It was warm, clean and tastefully decorated. We booked a transfer with the hotel from the station for $5 per person, and we were told it must be booked one day prior to your arrival. Very handy if you have heavy luggage. It is an easy downhill walk from the hotel back to the station or around town. There is a lovely little bar on site where you can have a drink in the evening. Friendly staff!

No kettle or tea or coffee in the room and only two glasses for four people.

Comfortable bed., nice and friendly staff, late check-in. The living area was great. It's spacious, comfortable and cozy. You can leave your luggage for free.

No view of the mountains. If you go to the balcony and lean a bit to the right, you get to see the beautiful mountains. It's a bit of a walk from the station. You can hire a taxi though for 5 Franks-a-person which might be a good option if you have luggage. The breakfast was below par. I expected some bacon/egg dishes at least at the price of the room.

I thought the location was great and within walking distance of the train station, gondolas, shopping, and restaurants (we didn’t realize how steep of a hill it is to hike up to get to the hotel with our large luggage, really got the calves burning lol) The breakfast had good variety and staff were amazing. The view from our room was stunning waking up to see the Matterhorn. My friend and I really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return in the future!

Hotel room was in attic over looking Mattehorn mountain. Great views. Lovely welcome from Mattaus who helped with luggage. Bed comfortable. Bathroom facilities small due to being in attic. Had meal also in hotel on evening and food was excellent. Great location and fabulous hotel .Extremely clean.

Would have liked tea and coffee facilities in room, as I am a bad sleeper so like a cup of tea during night/early morning. Also an extra pillow would have been nice.

Gorgeous room, lovely wooden fittings. Spacious and came with a lovely balcony. Sadly weather wasn’t good enough for us to enjoy it. Used the restaurant for evening meal and food was great. Nice cosy lounge area. Breakfast was great too. Really cosy, friendly hotel.

Is quite uphill walking to the hotel from station but there are little electric taxis if you need assistance.

Staff friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast included. Rooms very clean. Ski locker room has boot dryers for overnight. Beautiful views off the deck. Approximately 3 min walk to bus stop to Glacier paradise base 6 min walk to Sunnega base. Approx 8 min walk to main strip inn center of town.

Our only real complaint was the shower setup. In a rectangular shower the shower head came off the side and the glass only went half way. So your choice is to shower in a 24” x 24” square or let the floor get soaked. .

Beautiful cosy hotel with exceptional staff. The room was spacious and comfortable, the duvets were like clouds! The breakfast buffet had a good selection of fresh local foods. Our half board option included an amazing 4 course dinner each evening. The staff were so friendly and provided amazing service every evening. The lady on reception even did her own honey to make us a hot toddy when we caught a bit of a cold!

Tea and coffee facilities in the room would be appreciated.

I booked one night of standard room and another night of premium room with balcony. When I checked in, the staff assigned me a standard room for two nights. I tried to point this out to him but it appears there was a miscommunication. When I checked out, I pointed this out to the staff again and luckily I got the difference refunded to me. They kept saying that was not their fault but I think it is. Oher than that, the whole stay was pleasant.
