The location was good, close to both Victoria Coach Station and the train station/underground and taxi ranks, making it very accessible for all of the major tourist sites. The hotel staff were very welcoming and accommodating, and were also very knowledgeable when it came to giving directions and transport information. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean. My friend and I had a room each and we were very satified with the facilities within it, tea/coffee, telephone, etc. The bed was very comfortable and the water was hot in the shower and of a good pressure. There were free toiletries for use. We were only there for two nights and all of the linen and towels were changed each day and of good quality. The breakfast included cereals, toast, and your choice of English breakfast components, and there was plenty of it. There is no lift in the hotel, as it is an original Victorian building, but this is made known in advance. My friend and I are 70+ and managed the stairs ok. If in doubt I would suggest contacting the hotel as I am sure they will try and accommodate any mobility issues raised, if they can. The security was excellent, with minisafes in the rooms, and all of the internal doors leading to the stairs, had extra security, as well as the main outside doors. All of the staff made us feel extremely at home and there was a great atmosphere overall enjoyed with the staff and other travellers.

There wasn't anything to dislike. I would definitely stay there again when visiting London.

It was cosy, warm, welcoming and sparkling clean. The staff so nice and friendly, we had a great stay.

The breakfast until 9 AM - when on holiday we tend to sleep until late and some mornings I missed the delicious breakfast they had. If possible to extend it at least until 10 😁

A lovely welcome when we arrived, easy check in and we were in Room 4. The room itself was a ground floor room with a window looking onto the Main Street. Was a little bit noisy but no drama still could sleep perfectly fine. The room itself the carpet was a little bit tired but everything was spotlessly clean. Good shower plenty of hot water. Breakfast there was a limited choice but you know what it was just what you needed. A choice of cereal, a fresh orange juice, toast and either boiled eggs or fried egg bacon and beans. All cooked to order, really good. What makes this hotel stand out from the crowd is the staff. Very friendly, interested in what you are doing, really personable especially the boys at breakfast. They should run a school for future hoteliers to show them how it’s done. Again everything spotlessly clean. Thank you so much for looking after us, if we come back to London this is where we will be staying.

Location. Bus stop outside the property which enables a commute to all the attractions in London in minutes, in addition to the Supreme Court. Pimlico is also a great place for pubs and restaurants. Hospitality. The hosts were genuinely friendly and went the extra mile to ensure that I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast. Very comfortable bed.

I really could not fault anything.

While the external look is typical of the numerous townhouses turned into hotels in the Pimlico area, what sets this one apart is the management and staff. This family-run business has its own special atmosphere. The staff made us welcome from the moment we arrived. They shared a helpful list of restaurants for the evening. Breakfast was excellent and the friendly atmosphere was a wonderful way to start the day. There was also a generous supply of tea and coffee in the room.

The smell of cleaning products or air freshener in the room was a little strong on arrival, but cleared when we opened the window. At the time of writing, there was no lift in the property.

This is my second time in this hotel and I will always stay here for a trip to London again. It’s a 10 minute walk from Victoria Station, in an extremely quiet and safe neighbourhood, with some lovely local restaurants and bars around. The hotel is small and cosy, no fancy facilities, but has everything required. It is spotlessly clean, the rooms are small, but warm and comfortable. A lovely cooked breakfast is included. On top of that, what makes this hotel stand out are the family that run it. The level of customer service, friendliness and professionalism is exceptional and makes it a pleasure to stay here.

For me, nothing. Just be aware that there are several flights of stairs to reach the top floors, with no lift available.

Cozy hotel in nice neighbourhood, 10 minute walking distance from Victoria station. The room was small and clean and the bathroom was a decent size. Perfect stay for a short trip. The owners were lovely, we had to leave rather early in the morning and as such were the first and only ones at breakfast, we had a nice chat and got some useful tips. The breakfast isn’t buffet style but „a la cart“, which we didn’t mind at all. You start of with orange juice and can decide between several cereals, after you get the main which had various options (Joghurt and banana/ham, eggs and beans/ham and tomato/boiled eggs,…), in addition you get toast with jam/Nutella/Butter and a hot drink. Loved the picture the hung in the breakfast room. We enjoyed our stay and would love to book again if we happen to go to London another time. It showed me that it’s worth to take the risk on smaller independent hotels vs. big chains, it felt very homey and comfortable.

It was such a joy spending time in this hotel! If You are looking for place with family like atmosphere then look no further. I didn’t feel like I was some no name guest, it was like visiting my favorite family members. Everything was perfect and whole stuff was super friendly making sure I felt special every day! Room is super clean to the level of every tile being shiny, the food is always fresh (an important thing for people with IBS). Honestly a perfect place for every solo tip! 10/10

Lack of lift but I know owners work on it :)

The hotel is really well located, with a bus stop right outside that will take you straight into Westminster Abbey and Trafalgar Square, so even though it might not be located at the heart of London, it is really close to it. The bed was really comfortable and our hotel had a nice view to the street. The bathroom was clean and spacious, but the best part was the breakfast and the staff's hospitality. Considering London's high prices, this hotel was a pleasant surprise, even though it wasn't the cheapest.

Our room was on the fifth floor, and since there was no elevator, going up the stairs was quite a hike that we had to do every day. Good for your body, but still tiring. The Wi-Fi was probably the only let down that we had, since we were expecting some good connection to do some work and also stream some movies, but it was quite hard to achieve. Also, the streaming on the TV barely worked, so we had to use our devices.
