Absolutely everything, the location was brilliant being only ten minutes away from the Colosseum and other attractions such as the Trevi fountain etc. The staff are so lovely and helpful. The rooms are spacious with a wonderful balcony like view out over the beautiful park. Very close to the markets and food shops and overall a fabulous place to stay. There is also great AC in the rooms which is desperately needed in this heat! Everything was so clean and tidy, the mirrors were spotless without any marks. The bathroom is a comfortable size and the overall aesthetic of the room is great. Also, there is lots of safety in this hotel seeing that you have your own keys and need the passcode to even get up the lift to your floor.

I cannot think of anything, it was a wonderful stay.

Nice size room and quiet. Conveniently situated near the subway for easy access to the various tourist sites.

Stairway to the room no access to lift. Did not enjoy the aroma when entering the room, smelt a bit stale, so bought air freshener and left windows open during the day. A pity no other channels available except standard Italian channels.

We arrived very late at 2.30am and were welcomed by the owner's daughter, who made sure that my children and I had everything we needed. We felt very welcome and communication was good throughout arrival and delays. The location is great for the station (15 mins walk) and the Colleseum / Forum is just a 15 min walk across a park too. There is a great pizza cafe/bar opposite, a few decent restaurants near and supermarket not far. Entrance is via a huge wooden door and security is good with keys and codes for doors. Airton was great and shuttered window meant the room felt very cool. The view was over the park opposite. They had some decent coffee and a cookie jar was a nice touch. We were allowed to leave our bags there until reception closed on the day that we left.

Make sure that you factor in the tourist tax and fee for arrival after 11pm (which was entirely reasonable).

Close to the train station, elevator, good price.

Didn’t like that the address was a different address than the one provided in the email and online. Very confusing getting there.

The check in went so smooth and easy, the staff was so friendly and kind! The explanation of the accommodation and tips for staying safe in Rome that were given to us when we arrived was so thorough and caring! The entrances and locks into the hotel made it feel safe and secure. The location was great! We had a view of the park across the street, and it was so easy to walk to the metro and to other sightseeing locations. It felt like a well cared for, family run hotel and we really appreciated it!

This was excellent value for the price. It was well serviced in the area, and new window fittings so not noisy. We stayed close to train station as only here one night, it was close enough to walk to, and there was an interesting set of shops on the walk there for all sorts for accessories

There were strict rules not to eat in the room. This seemed unnecessary. I understand not to cause stains, but people still need to eat. We were exhausted and did not want to go out

Lily was an amazing host and the magic guest house exceeded all expectations. While the local station was closed during our time in Rome we had no issues using other neighbouring stations and actually chose to walk into the centre most of the time. The room was spacious and clean with no faults. We also loved the view into the courtyard as a true welcome to Italy. The Colosseum and Monti districts were right on the door step will everything you could need a short walk away.

Great location for a good price, near lots of grocery stores and metro stations (except they were closed since we got there on their vacation days). Clean and large rooms, good toilets, good light blocking and accommodating host. There was an elevator so going up and down was easy.

The rooms are on the second floor inside a specific complex and there were lots of doors to go through. It was confusing and we weren’t sure how to get in at first so there should be a description for that. The wifi was spotty and only worked in the reception room for the last two days we were there. The beds were memory foam so it didn’t give much back support and felt uneven.

The location of the property was good! Lots of food places close by and only 15 minutes for the main train station and the colosseum

There didn’t seem to be a safe in the room, we didn’t ask the staff about this but there was no where for one to be, I can’t fault the cleanliness of the room it was spotless!

Location is very good because it is only around five minutes walk to Termini station, and only around 20 minutes walk to different sights and attractions of the city. The room was comfortable (especially the bed!) and the host was friendly.

It proved quite difficult to get in to the place/check in. This was because there was a rather inconspicuous entrance with many numbers and names of guesthouses on the door. We rang the bell for what we hoped was the correct one, but nobody let us in for quite a while. We later learnt that the phone was not working, but feel that in this case perhaps someone could have either told us in advance (and given clearer check in instructions), or greeted us at the door. This was however the only issue. Everything else was wonderful!
