Location of the hostel is 10/10. Room was huge and clean, good ventilated and arranged. Toilet and shower room were clean, shower gel, toilet paper and hairdryer were available. Staff was very pleasant, nice and smiling.

There's nothing about the property that I didn't like, it's just the roommate which had 0 tolerance for anything and behaved as the room was hers so she should decide when the lights are turning off, or how everyone in the room should behave. 🧐 One residing in hostel should be prepared to share the space with other people and that these people have their needs and lifestyles which are sometimes different from your own. Not everyone can fall asleep at 10 p.m. #justsayin

Staff was very friendly, moved me to a female only dorm when she saw that I was alone. Room was very spacious and clean, beds were comfy and toilet was kept clean. Very close to the central station, making it a very convenient place to stay. Price was also pretty decent.

Surprisingly very little power plugs in the room. Had only 3 plugs in the room with 6 beds and 2 in the toilet?!?! Luckily there was only 2 of us in the room so there was no problem with charging our electronics.

Good, affordable hostel near Dortmund train station (Hauptbahnhof), with a cozy lobby where you can have a beer after a long travel day. The bunk beds, bathrooms and restrooms are fine. I was able to switch rooms after complaining about a smoking roommate.

The environment of the hostel is indeed very noisy. In hostels you sometimes have to deal with less pleasant roommates. The first night there was someone who regularly stood in front of the window smoking. I complained to him about this and reported him so I could change rooms. Another room guest later decided to change rooms for the same reason, because this smoking guest was still there and he was smoking again. While I appreciated being able to switch rooms, I would consider a zero tolerance policy on smoking advisable for the benefit of other guests.

The place is located a few min away from the train station, which is very convenient! The staff is great and the beds comfy. The room was also very clean, and had its own small bathroom. There were also 2 large lockers in the 4-bed room, but you need to have the lock. I didn't use much of the facilities, nor had breakfast there, so cannot comment on it, but the lobby seemed to have lots of entertainment areas.

The room was on the main street side, and during the night there were several ambulance cars passing with the sirene which was rather annoying. It was also quite warm under the blanket, even with the window open.

Solid stay when you consider the price value. Did its job to give a roof over my head for one night to travel around dortmund. Will use this again if prices stay this low. Can't complain much about quality at that price tag

Uhh, rooms could be way cleaner and someone in my hostel room smelled badly. I think this is the only thing keeping me from rating it perfectly

Location, English speaking staff

Thin walls, a bit noisy. On check-in staff offered a room. There was a strong smell of something (cigarettes or some chemicals after cleaning) and a problem with one of the windows - it wasn't closing. When I asked to fix these and they couldn't manage it they offered another room. The second room was completely fine: no cigarette smell, windows were closing without any issues

I stayed for 10 night and somehow felt like home. The room is spacious (I live in one room with 4 bunk bed), The toilet and bathroom are clean (They clean it everyday). The location is also strategic, close to the main train station as well as shopping street. The Hotel has billiard, and spacious lobby.

If you don't lucky enough, you will meet with other guest that open the window during the night, which of course good for the ventilation, but I think ts not a good Idea in winter time, plus you will heard the noise from the outside.

We had ensuit privat room. The room was clean snd big. The breakfast was nice. They provide towels (bath towel and hand towel for each and one foot towel for bathroom. ) Happy with the stay.

It was nosy outside at night (but it was Christmas time, Christmas market and a lot of people around). We had to make our beds by ourselves (that was annoying).

The hostel was nice and clean. The lockers a little small, it wouldn't fit more than a carry-on size bag. The ensuit shower was nice that it wasnt a push button one. Street parking was free after 8pm until 9am.

Check in was a little slower than necessary. Also the hotel tax is not included in the booking.com price. The hostel itself was fine, but Dortmund and the area around the hostel did not feel comfortable as a woman walking around on my own. I made sure I was back before sunset.

The location was perfect for getting about the city with it being 5 mins from the square and 5 mins from train station Also handful of shops literally on the doorstep made it so convenient, The room was so spacious had a kinda student accommodation vibe to it which made it a relaxed environment
