The view is really nice and the pool is a major draw card. Was quite relaxing to longue by the pool all day. Really like the restaurant and breakfast was 10/10. The bar staff were very friendly. The Euros were playing while we were there and the hotel played the game on a TV in the longue for everyone staying there, which was nice.

Hard to get to without a car. Would not recommend going here without a car. Steep walk up to the hotel from ferry port/bus ports. Difficult to leave and explore the local area due to the isolation of the hotel No wifi in the rooms which is a little poor considering the price.

We took a gamble on the location not knowing much about Lake Como. Lake Como is gigantic and small towns dot the upside down Y lake. This hotel was at a reasonable price seemingly near the city of Como but away from the noise. The hotel is high enough away from the small town to be quiet, in a quaint residential area. The room is clean and big enough for two adults to unpack and be comfortable. Bathroom is serviceable, and the view of the mountain and lake are absolutely stunning. On our second night there was a wedding on the terrace, for the magical view of the lake and the Swiss mountains. We took the boat from Cernobbio to Bellagio and back and were able to see a lot of the Lake.

Cernobbio is a very small town and the hotel is a significant 15-20 minute walk with no sidewalks. There are a lot of hidden stairs if you can find them, and there are only 2 taxis in town. If you have any mobility issues this is not the place to go, you will be stuck. There are really only two restaurants nearby, so you'll need to hoof it back to town if you want more options. The air conditioner stopped working for us in the middle of the night, which in the heat wave was unpleasant. The staff was helpful but I wasn't going to call them at 3AM when I just wanted to sleep. The commuter ferry to Ballagio was 2 hours each direction, so you may want to hire a private boat tour if you want to see specific locations more quickly.

The view was incredible, but since the location was on the hill, and taxi services provide very poor service, you should get to the place by walking up to the hill more than 2 km. It's a bit tiring. Please pay attention NO UBER Service in Chernobbio and Como region. But personnel of the hotel were doing their best to solve the issues with taxi.

Fantastic location overlooking the lake. Dining room has panoramic views. Nice pool area with plenty of sunbeds. Good breakfast.

The hotel is very popular for weddings and other celebrations. When they have a wedding the restaurant and bar are not available for regular guests and the staff seem more stressed and less attentive. The standard rooms are very small, and the hotels ppsition means it is quite a challenging climb back up the hill from the town centre. Parking is a bit expensive considering there is free parking 50 metres further along the road.

Great location & view. Quieter town so not too touristy/noisy. Lovely, clean, friendly staff, excellent chef in restaurant!!! Ate there twice.

They could think of having a car, just to pick up guests from the town. We were stuck in town one night at 8:15pm (not that late). We walked down to the town only about 15-20minutes but it was raining a lot when we got back to town, very windy. And worst part- we could not find a taxi. A local restaurant called a taxi for us 4-5 times … and they said “no taxis available in Cernobbio”. So that was not great. A lovely restaurant employee drove us up the hill to the hotel, in her private car. That’s all though, other than that, hotel wonderful. Would definitely return!!!!

The views from the hotel over Lake Como are breath-taking

The absence of tissue paper is inexcusable. The price of the room is not cheap and not providing tissue paper is cheap. Also, we asked for an infusion in the room and it was provided in a thermos that could not be closed, which allowed the liquid to become cold very rapidly. Moreover, they supplied only one camomile bag, which, once again, reflects a cheap attitude.

Wonderful hotel! Unmatched location and view! Check-in was super easy. Great front desk agent! Didn't catch his name, but super helpful and patient with questions. Easy parking across the street. Loved the restaurant; the service, the food/wine, the atmosphere, everything.

Como is pretty challenging to drive in. Very narrow/winding streets. Recommend coming into property from downtown Como direction. Google was a little confusing from the other direction; ended up with a stop at the nearby cemetery:)

The swimming pool and the view from our room which overlooked the pool and the lake was lovely. The evening meal was delicious and choice of beer good. All staff were friendly. Good choice of items for breakfast. Efficient air conditioning

Room above kitchen was noisy until around midnight. Pool towels and parking (given the location high up the hill), shouldn't be charged for. I would have hoped that when guests who were faced with a two day journey back to Australia, asked for a taxi to the train station, that instead of hearing that it would be very difficult to arrange because it was a national holiday, that maybe an offer of a lift to the station could have been made by management. Imagine the lasting impression that would have had!
