A budget hotel with most of the facilities I needed. Clean and tidy, with friendly, helpful staff. Superb location close to the centre of Adelaide city. There are lots of power outlets in the room, so I could plug in my devices without having to use my power board and extension lead. The teapot is a real bonus for this tea addict!

It is due for a refit. The downside is, that the cost of staying there would probably go up. There was a damaged power point behind the television that should have been spotted and fixed before my visit. It's a pity that the dining room is apparently not in operation - a victim of the shortage of people wishing to work in hospitality. The view from my window was of the building next door, but clearly, there are rooms that overlook the city.

Great location, tram stop is 100m away and gets you all over the city, staff super friendly, beds very comfy

Just far enough away from the nightlife to not have noise, quiet end of the city but super easy to still get around

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean facilities. No restaurant but plenty nearby or can easily order Uber Eats to your room. Very close to the Hospital and free tram service along North Terrace, and also has good proximity to the Convention Centre, university's city campuses, and (via the free tram) to Lot 14, Botanical Gardens, and Rundle Mall. Simple furnishings but clean. No smoking allowed in rooms or on balconies, but there is a dedicated smokers area at the back of the hotel near the hotel parking lot. Has A/C which was handy given the Antarctic winds blowing through town. Hot water was great and had very good pressure in the shower.

Can be quite noisy with traffic and ambulance sirens given near the hospital (especially on a Saturday night). No smoking on balconies which is a tad annoying, but understandable also. No in-house dining/restaurant...no biggie, but would be a nice convenience when in town for business. Otherwise, I thought it pretty good.

I enjoyed the spa bath the most. The room was cleaned well every day. The staff on arrival were friendly with all smiles even though I checked in at midnight. The view from the balcony was wonderful. The "cheese grater" as its called, is a wonderful sight. Easy to walk through the parklands, and easy to catch the tram in and out of the city. & parking right out front for getting picked up and dropped off.

I would prefer a coffee bag like Robert Timms, instead of the Nescafe instant. It's a better hotel and I'd like to see a better selection of coffee and tea. I was under the impression that there was WiFI included, but it's available at an extra cost. Not a bother as I mainly tether from my phone's WIFI.

Very clean, refurbished interiors. Very comfortable beds and plenty of pillows and extra blanket available. I had a street facing view, high enough that street noise wasn't a problem. Quiet at night for a restful sleep. Goo dlocation to get to parks, other parts of CBD, etc.

The "West End" where the hotel is located is unfortunately a bit dead, which means that many of the restaurants and food options were surprising closed at lunch and dinner time. But it is a short walk/e-scooter ride about 3 blocks to where there are lots more food options on Hindley St.

The hotel is well located on the edge of central Adelaide. The room had a slight smell of cleaning chemicals, but wasn't too bad. The bed was really comfortable, and the staff were fantastic. The hotel had a guest laundry to wash clothes when staying for more than a couple of days and a good selection of brochures for things to do in Adelaide. The location was pretty walkable, although you needed to walk 2 blocks+ to get to anything. Great destination for events at Adelaide Oval.

There were few restaurants/cafe's within a two block walk, but go 3-4 and there was a pretty great selection. It was freezing cold while I stayed, and a lot of cold air seemed to transfer through the closed window, but the room had heating to combat this.

Affordability, convenient location and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We requested a room refresh before leaving for a day out and returned to the beds made and everything restocked; the next day, the cleaning team approached us and asked if we required anything.

Bed could have been a little more comfortable. Our window faced the university building and light shone through all night despite the curtains being closed, I woke up at 2am, and it was so bright in the room I was sure the sun was up. There was no milk in the fridge the first morning, but one was put in when our room was refreshed.

Everything was neat and clean for an older building and had a lovely clean sweet smell to the room/foyers and lifts. The room was spacious with a good amount of bench space.

Extremely Loud! I know we were Located near a main road and the hospital but it was so loud, it was if we were standing outside with the traffic. That is my only negative comment I have. Every time a truck, bus, plane or ambulance went past it woke us up. In the end we didn’t get much sleep. The only other thing that isn’t to much of a big deal was the spa bath needs a little updating look wise. It has some type of tape holding cracks or similar togeather and just looks cheap.

We arrived early, just wanting to park the car, but our room was ready. Walking into our room we discovered that we had been upgraded. The room was spacious, clean, & more than comfortable with a spa and a city view ( both unexpected, for the price we paid). The staff were absolutely fantastic, pleasant, friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is in the CBD. Main hospital across the road, Tram stop three minute walk in either direction, will take you to any CBD event. (Adelaide Oval, Entertainment Centre, etc) I am a return customer of this hotel, coming from regional S.A., and will continue to book in here based on the service I receive every time. Parking here is easy, never had a bad room, bed was comfortable. The location is excellent and the service is above expectations with a 24 hour manned reception as a bonus.

I haven't found anything to dislike at this point.

No facilities to speak of … but at this price was as expected, important to us was location on city tram line as we needed to get to WOMADelaide on 4 days in 40 degree heat so walking not an option … free tram was a 5 min walk to left or right on North Tce. All staff were friendly & helpful (my heat pack warmed up in staff MW each morning for my bad back… ) room was clean & the ladies who came each day to clean were lovely. Room size was good too. Good coffee & breakfast cafe around corner (Peter Rabbit’s) we also bought bowls & spoons for cereal as there was no crockery, cutlery, & we were there 6 nights… wine glasses, coffee cups, kettle were supplied & bar fridge.

The old air conditioner was very noisy, can’t have it on to sleep… no microwave, very dated (but was clean), no exhaust fan in bathroom. No hair dryer (but 40 degree heat did the job)
