Beautiful lobby and rooms

The push button lights in the room need written instructions on how to use them. We found them very confusing

It doesn’t have a spa :(

Breakfast had lots of choice and is in a palatial room. No crowding as various stations for food types - fruit, cheese and meat, egg ordering, hot food, cereals and bakery items. 2 coffee stations. I loved the 2-way wardrobe - doors opening in the bedroom and other doors in the bathroom. This turns the bathroom into a bathroom/dressing room but with dry neat clothes! Fantastic location. Within walking distance of everywhere. For those who prefer not to walk, the tram stop is 2 min walk. Plenty of restaurants to choose from nearby.

Nothing we didn't like. We were very happy.

Breakfast was delicious, fresh produce, presentation excellent, plentiful choices, staff were attentive and pleasant.

Had problems with the plumbing in our room. Noises from the bathroom (toilet). Spoke to reception who offered another room but decided to stay. Unfortunately, was woken with the noise around 2am. Did mention it again when we checked out. Am aware that the hotel had only opened 2 weeks prior so realise there would be teething problems:)

The size of the rooms, the layout. The reception staff and breakfast staff at penny blue.

Frank at concierge was really rude and made me go back up to my room with both my kids at 8:30pm to find the valet parking ticket to access something out of my car that was parked out the front. After asking him could I show him my ID he said “I have all your details but not ticket no car” then I came back down and the other man was there and didn’t ask for the ticket he knew it was my car and super helpful.

Liked we could check in half an hour early. Room was lovely and clean. New facilities. Large shower. Lovely staff on arrival - very polite and well spoken.

There was a loud noise at around 3am - sounded like a fan. Could hear the water running from other rooms in the morning. Room was too warm on arrival. Would have liked access to a streaming service on TV.

The service and the dinner at the Penny Blue exceeded our expectations. My wife loved the quail, and we both loved the mushroom gnocchi - (simply the best). Special commendation to Namil, whose level of service was exceptional, and his understanding of how to interact with his guests just added that extra special touch to our experience.

Nothing

A fabulous hotel to stay and recharge right in the middle of the Adelaide CBD. Easily the best in Adelaide and certainly one of the next in the country. Greeted like a long lost friend, staff seem genuinely happy that you have chosen their hotel to stay in. Remarkable. Customer (mine!) feedback was quickly acted upon after my last stay. Amazing.

Restaurant was closed over the Christmas and New Year break.

Location

The room air conditioning needs to adjust the temperature most of the time. They provide mineral water in the room. Most of the staff are Indian. During the work, they speak their own language. Very surprising in a 5-star hotel. The toiletries in the bathroom the limit for replenishment. Front office didn't inform the parking ticket to validated. Clean tower have hair on the tower.

It's a very well designed luxury hotel with huge rooms and terrific bathrooms. The bar was very nice and the cocktails well made and arrived in a most timely manner. Also enjoyed a leisurely Saturday morning breakfast before heading to the airport. All in all a most enjoyable couple of days.

Struggling to find something. Probably a little far from where I need to be, but that's not their issue.
