The hotel was in a good position 5 minutes to catch our early morning ferry Room was nice very small shower glad it was only one night we were staying You can have breakfast for 11 euros from 6.30 am we didn’t try Staff were really lovely and friendly but we asked for an early morning wake up call as a back up but it never happened so that was disappointing Remote to the tv wasn’t working staff came to the room to sort out and went out of their way to help really friendly staff This hotel is great if you are catching a ferry We walked to the marina for lunch in about 15 minutes really lovely to see all the yachts

Small bathroom and small shower No wake up call as requested

The main reason for choosing Piraeus City Hotel was its proximity to the port (just 10-15 minutes walk depending on what gate you're departing from). But it turned out to be very conveniently located in general - bus/tram stops and metro are all very close by. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, eager to help with any requests and give valuable advice. Breakfast was nice as well. There are also a few churches in the area and you can hear the bells every 30-60 minutes, which was a beautiful experience.

The air conditioner outside our room (in the balcony) was a bit loud, but bearable when the balcony door was closed.

The room was small but very clean and met our needs. We are grateful for the bottled water and slippers - a nice touch. We enjoyed the location of the hotel as we were able to walk to the bus and subway stops and it was a quick taxi ride to the port for our cruise. We also enjoyed the restaurants and coffee shops in the area and it was convenient to have a grocery store within walking distance too.

Although this is no reflection on the Piraeus City Hotel, we were extremely disappointed with how dirty and graffiti covered the city of Athens is. It is such an historical place yet those that govern Athens have neglected its care.

Location excellent for taking a cruise. We booked an Uber taxi and it was only 6 euros. Room was fab, bed very comfortable. We had a balcony (v big) room which made our very short stay for 1 night beautiful as we sat out and enjoyed the morning and evening sun. The road itself isn't very pleasant to look out on, but there were no safety issues and the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. A short 10 min walk to some lively streets near the harbour where we stopped for Gyros and beer and paid around £15 in total. Would definitely go back as it's quite near the train station at Piraeus and a short hop in a taxi to the cruise terminal.

nothing to mention.

What a delightful surprise! Walking from the ferry port to the hotel I was a little worried about the location and what seemed to be a grotty part of Athens; I was so wrong! The hotel staff were so helpful and lovely and the room was clean and such a great layout for families! Walking around the local area we found some great streets full of shopping and restaurants; we had the best meal of our whole time in Greece at one of them! A little further down the road we enjoyed a coffee on the harbour and watched the boats coming and going. What a find!

The hotel breakfast was a little under par, but for €11 you get what you pay for.

Great staff, very helpful! The location is great if you are departing from Piraeus or exploring the area. It is a short walk from the metro station, looked safe to walk around at night. The room is a good size, lift is available, spacious shower. The reception staff helped us arrange a taxi and stored our luggage which was great.

Mosquitoes! There are no nets on the windows and room was full of them. Also our room smelled like smoke even though it is a non-smoking hotel, maybe it was coming from outside as windows were open before we arrived.

Great location 100yds from the ferries also close to metro and buses, and all the shops, restaurants, bars and cultural features of Piraeus. Excellent room (in our case upgraded to larger free of charge) with comfy bed and all mod cons. Great value for money. Very helpful staff providing maps and advice on local facilities and transport. We were keen to visit the Stavros Niarchos Cultural Centre and Park (a couple of miles away) in the evening they sorted a local taxi to take us (well worth a visit)

Obviously its an urban hotel so don't expect a view, and it's in a slightly shabby side street (although this has the advantage of being quiet away from main roads or noisy bars/ restaurants).

The hotel is a ten minute walk to the ferry port for the ferry to Naxos and Mykinos etc. There are bars and resaurants within a 10 to 15 minute walk. There are shops and cafes within a 10 minute walk. The hotel reception will give you a map. With your room key you are given a card with all the information that you will need for your stay.Room no and wi fi password and breakfast location and times. The cooked breakfast wasn't always hot like at home, but it was tasty. The restaurant girls are very friendly as was the receptionists and the room cleaners. On arrival there is free water in the fridge.

The cooked breakfast wasn't always hot,but it was tasty. The pillows where either hard or soft. The standard rooms are a bit small. we where there for 3 nights. on our return we had 1 night and an upgrade and the room was larger and had a balcony.

ALL Staff (especially Ophelia and Nikolas,(?)) were super-accommodating and helpful. When I needed to store one of my bags for an extended period before my overnight stay at the Piraeus City Hotel, Ophelia happily did so for me, relieving me of the significant inconvenience and expense of taking it with me as I flew to Kos on Aegean Air before I embarked on the Oosterdam for my 11-day cruise. Nikolas (?) helped me book a rental car for my daughter's and my stay. Another receptionist whose name I didn't catch directed me to park in the hotel's 2 small spaces in front of the hotel. All cleaning staff attendants were smiling and helpful, redirecting me whenever I needed assistance with anything --- Even when they didn't speak English, they made sure to refer my issue to others who did. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was tight quarters, but clean and adequate for our needs. We loved enjoying the balcony when the hot sun was down. Great place to dry hand washed clothes overnight, too.

Corners in the bathroom were too close together (e.g. shower stall and sink stand), so it may be difficult for some to squeeze through in between them to get to the toilet (especially in the dark). Space was certainly limited, all around, but everything in Greece seems to be too close together... All in all, my daughter and I appreciated our stay at Piraeus City Hotel.

I happened to arrive earlier than the check in time and they upgraded my room in order to not wait for so long. The room was really beautiful, the bed big and comfortable and the bathroom clean. I liked the view from the balcony. The breakfast had many options to choose from which was appreciated. The location of the hotel is in the city center, close to transportation, supermarkets and the port. The stuff was really helpful, kind and easy to talk to.

It was easy to hear some noise from the corridor and the rooms near to mine.
