We spent one night in Athens as we had an early ferry to catch, and for this, Filon hotel was a grear choice. It is close to Piraeus port and metro (~10-15 minute walk). It's also easy to reach from the airport, as there is a direct link with the metro. Many shops, restaurants nearby. Staff is very helpful and friendly! There is a 0-24 reception where you can leave your keys. They give you fresh towels and toiletries.

Our bed wasn't very comfortable - it had a big dent in the mattress. It was also a bit noisy at night, you could hear music from the clubs.

Great location especially if you are going/ Leaving a cruise. Room was spacious with 4 of us and had comfortable beds. Staff very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel.

We could hear music/ people out side at a bar until early hours in the morning. ( This was not at the hotel but maybe the next street) however the location it is in the town and when nice weather bars are open late and people are outside especially as we stayed on a Saturday night. The children did sleep well, unfortunately I am a light sleeper.

A very convenient hotel in the port area of Pireas. Lots of restaurants around, from Thai to Indian, to Italian, Greek and fast food. Ticket office for the ferry boats in walking distance. The staff is excptional, funny and very friendly. We had a lot of fun with the lady at the reception. There is a pretty safe parking for our motorbike just opposite the entrance of the hotel. We stayed here the second time and we will definitely come back in the future.

I enjoyed my three weeks stay here. Easy access to the buses going to the port and metro station. A walking distance from pasalimani; an area with a lot of restaurants and coffee shops. Comfy stay and rooms are cleaned everyday. The receptionists are very welcoming and supportive. There are a lot of coffee shops around the hotel. It would be nice as well to have a Nespresso machine in the rooms or at least one in the lobby for free use. Coffee capsules to be on the guests. There are restaurants around the hotel. One of my best stays in Piraeus. I will definitely stay here again.

Friendliness of staff, generous size of room, relatively quiet with windows closed at night, also no major noise from within the hotel, despite being on first floor opposite the elevator. Location felt safe even late in the night, while port and main tourist restaurant/shopping area are in walking distance.

Storing the luggage for the day in the lobby visible and accessible to everyone felt a bit "too relaxed", so I wouldn't have left expensive equipment etc. there. However, it was in view of the reception desk which was usually occupied. So, all was good, nothing disappeared :)

Hotel reception was very helpful and supportive. They always welcome you with a smile. The hotel is near restaurants and easy access to Pasilimani. It located near the port and 1 min walk to the nearest bus station. There is a breakfast but I did not try it. The room is cleaned everyday. Many reviews speak about the loud music of the near discos but with the window closed it did not bother me. It actually acted as a background noise and helped me to sleep. I hate calm nights specially when travelling solo 😅. And while working I open the window and enjoy the music. The music was a plus for me actually. Definitely one of my best stays in Piraeus and I will be looking for it first whenever I am going Piraeus.

Good location, very near the port. Great, friendly staff and a free parking space in front of the hotel which was very convenient. The bed was comfortable. Good soundproofing, since there was some music in a bar outside but closing the windows was enough to be able to sleep ok.

Good value for money for a short stay, but quite basic room facilities.

The Filon Hotel is a no frills accommodation which is perfect for a short stay if you need to catch a ferry or cruise from the Port of Piraeus. Piraeus is also a city in it's own right and deserves some exploration. Especially if you go down to the Zea Marina which is around a 10 minute walk. There are plenty of shops close by and restaurants and bars, coffee shops, etc. The staff are very nice here and always have a great conversation with the guests.

Very well located. The staff is lovely, very polite and more than willing to help. Looked better than in the picture. Also the neighbourhood looks more shady from Google Maps live views, is worth updating new look of the street. Yes, there is a club nearby that is open day and night apparently, but we didn't hear any loud music also because we stayed only 1 night. I would recommend it and deffo come back for short stays.

Very good position, near restaurants and shops etc. 10 minutes walk to the ferry points. Staff friendly and helpful. Good breakfast with eggs, cereal and so on.

Staff directed us to bus station at Victoria, fora bus to Labrio. They no longer run from there! This delayed our journey by several hours.
