My stay at the hotel was absolutely wonderful. The room was exactly as pictured on Booking.com — clean, with a small fridge and a large TV. The bathroom was recently renovated, very clean, and they provided toiletries, which was a nice touch. The hosts are extremely kind and welcoming, always smiling and ready to help. When I needed to extend my stay for an additional night, they were very accommodating and arranged the booking for me, which I greatly appreciated! There is a shared kitchen on the floor with all the necessary equipment. I didn't use it, but it looked well-maintained. The location of the hotel is very convenient, with the ocean nearby, plenty of restaurants, and a Lidl supermarket within walking distance. Overall, my stay at this hotel was perfect!

LOW Price + Location = perfect combination. The pension is located in a very authentic, non-touristic place. It is on the Camino de Santjago route, surrounded by small 6, shops, and fishermens. The metro is just 3 minutes away,the beach is just 4 minutes by walk.the room is clean.There is a common area with microwave, kettle for self serviced meals and there are vending machines with snacks and drinks.

Just one key card for the room (main entrance, room and electricity in the room).

Location was very good - nice restaraunts and bakery round the corner. Stuff was very friendly and helpful. Also little fridge in the room and a kitchen downstairs was good. Beach very close.

Only thing which was a bit annoying was that we only had one key (door card) per room.

The room was very cozy, with nice lighting and a nicely done bed---multiple pillows, including some soft ones (down?); a simple, neutral color scheme with blues and grays. Strong wi-fi. The neighborhood is also charming, full of small, old buildings with some merchants occupying the street level. Some good-looking fish restaurants just a block or two away. It's near the beach, too.

The breakfast indicated in the hotel description was not offered; no breakfast at all, and not since covid, the concierge told me. But no price adjustment for this, apparently, because it cost the same as another, more centrally located hotel in Matoshinos with a huge breakfast buffet. Eh, shrug. But the breakfast feature should be removed from the description. There aren't many options nearby in the neighborhood, either; a little, 9-seat bakery/cafe around the corner.

Was quiet , comfortable was on top floor so very ideal , tho not enough storage but overall very good , loads restaurants and coffee shops not that far from the beach something like 11 minutes tho I love to walk for me was no problem also plenty of bus as well the metro❤️

For me was perfect just needs bit more storage but other than that was excelente…

The location is excellent. Very close to the metro, the beach and supermarkets. Rooms and common areas are cleaned every day. I would go back if I returned to Matosinhos. I recommend.

- The air conditioning was not working properly, it kept turning off automatically all the time and had to be turned on again. When it was on, only the fan worked. Luckily we didn't get very hot days, so the experience wasn't too bad. - A French couple were making a lot of noise in the mornings. Some of the noises were really "inconvenient" (if you know what I mean). This really spoiled our experience as we couldn't sleep well. It's not the hotel's fault, but it's important to know that you can hear a lot of sounds coming from other rooms.

Excellent location. Train station and buses are walking distance and there is a good link to the airport + city centre etc. Beach is 5-10min by walk with surfing schools all over. We had a family room, which was nicely refurbished and specious. Lovely communal balcony on top floor, which was really nice. Good WeFi, fridge and TV in the room. Beds were comfortable. Room was also very light with nice French door looking towards the street - we were on top floor.

No bin available in the room, which wasn’t really an issue, but very unusual. Also, no cups/glasses available in the room, which I found very strange and slightly annoying.

Nice location near buses and trams, also near to restaurants and shops. Room was modern and clean and nice space to sit on outside terrace. Bed was comfortable and room had a fridge and TV with plenty of channels, also good WiFi.

Could benefit from some hooks for towels and for clothes but not a problem.
