This is my second time at this resort, this time with my family as I wanted them to experience the amazing view facing Jungfrau Mountain! The staff were very friendly and supportive. Good ambience, my kid loved the place and their dog. Renovating the rooms would be a great idea to make this place more special because it has great potential especially with the great view it has the garden and pool.

Pillows were not that much comfy. The room’s floor cleanliness. No fridge in the room.

Wonderful location, lovely staff and reasonable comfort and rooms. Just needs a bit of an update. It looks like the place would have been incredible maybe 20years ago.

No aircon in the room, which was ok with a fan and open windows but some block out curtains would be beneficial given the amount of windows in the room. Overall it was a nice place to stay for a reasonable price given the costs in Switzerland!

At day it's good to be in a manor house, there's elevator, free drinking water and use of microwave in the pantry, located near the street and bus stop, good view from room balcony

Feels like scary especially at night because feels like it was an old manor house and feels like someone is looking at you, theres a big dog that makes me uncomfortable, the staff made me waited too long until she forgot already that I was waiting in the stairs because of the big dog that blocks the way

Bed was comfy, I got upgraded to a double bed room on the top floor with a view to the Alps! There was a mini fridge as well which was handy due to the heat. I suffer from arachnophobia and there was one in my room, I asked the reception for help, they said they'd send someone - when I returned later that day the thing was gone (not sure because it ran away or they killed it but at least they offered!). It was quiet at night. To be fair, no one was sitting in the garden so that might be it. It's probably worse during summer. I stayed 4 nights and defo would stay again.

Room can get hot, there's a beautiful double glass door to the balcony but I didn't keep it open during night as the first day I accidentally let a fly in and she wouldn't leave. Didn't want to attract more bugs etc. The shower is great but the pressure was extreme so just something to keep in mind. Nothing else or relatively bad comes to mind.

Our triple room had balcony with breathtaking views of the mountains, Good wifi, location 12-15 min walk to the Interlaken Ost train station but public bus stop at 1 min walk from hotel if you dont want to walk on a flat road. Eating places nearby. Free water dispencer at the lobby area. The hotel is old and needs update to its decor but for Interlaken it is v good as we spent most of the time outside.

I was initially sceptical seeing the reviews but believe me it was a great property with the best views, reasonable pricing and great people. I am so happy I booked this great place. We booked a triple room and it was so spacious with an absolutely lovely view of the mountains. They have an option to microwave which was very useful to heat up some ready to eat stuff. They very graciously allowed to use their bowls etc for heating. Location is also good. There is a bus connecting directly to the train station ever half hour and if we plan a bit it will not be a hassle at all. It was an amazing stay for us. The property had a vintage vibe to it.

Beautiful building from the Victorian Age with all the exquisite features still intact. Full of charm, deeply evocative of a romantic era. The enlightened hotel management does the building justice and the staff are relaxed and happy, which is contagious for the visitors. Grand but very friendly atmosphere, which makes it unique. The rooms are modern and functional, but walking out into the corridors transports you to a different era. Having arrived by night, I was amazed by the view when I opened my curtains in the morning. Beautiful landscape, so peaceful. The Victorian terrace hasn't been messed with since, and the wrought-iron balconies are intact, with no trace of modern paint, thank God. A truly special stay.

I had to keep applying pressure on my shower to make it work, but this did not spoil my stay in any way. The room was bright and spotlessly clean. The fact that they do not serve breakfast did not bother me in the least. There is a bakery closeby and it is a lovely area to walk about.

The view from our room was absolutely amazing. The room was very large for what I expected. The bathroom had good space and good water pressure. The location to bakeries, restaurants, and grocery stores was nice.

There was a guest who screamed in the hall after midnight, followed by loud laughter and conversation from a group of friends in the hall. The room was warm, but a fan was provided.

property was beautiful. I was shocked by the view of the mountains out my window - looked like I was living in a postcard. having a balcony to sit out and enjoy the view was amazing. the lobby had pool table and foosball table, so was open and inviting. hotel is 10 min walk or so from downtown Interlaken, but closer to the canyon so perfect for getting a head start on exploring Lauterbrunnen, Grindlewald, etc. great bakery and great crepe shop within a block of the hotel. hotel is older and interior of the hotel is pretty worn - probably time to replace some carpet on the stairs with holes and fraying that you can see the floor through so people don’t trip and fall, But that made the experience more authentic. this was an awesome place for me - I’ll be coming back here again.

The nature around the property is mindblowing. We took a hike around the hill just behind the property. The views were breathtaking. the owner's dog St. Bernard Kaya is an angel. There is no breakfast. You have to get your own meals.One of the caretakers played loud Hindu prayers one of the mornings. I felt being transported to one of the religious places back home in India.

The bedding and pillows could have been better.
