Good choice, reasonable and included breakfast. The location was great. Really just a few minutes to the main high street. It looks further on Google maps than when you are there doing it in person. This was a factor for me when I was looking to book, as I didnt want to walk far at night. There is a small part of the walk that is a little darker on one side of the road than the other following the river but it was fine. The whole walk from one end of the high street to the B&B was probably 5 minutes. There is free parking so no need to wonder where to park. The room is spacious and clean. The bathroom is very spacious and clean. Good walk in shower. The breakfast was great. Lots of choice. It's a small area so whilst you are sat at your table (only one table) the owner of the B&B cooks your food. There is a breakfast bar between the table and the kitchen. It's great if you are sociable, we had a good conversation and got to know the host and the background of how she came to be at Bourton and running the B&B, Lesley and Pete. I hope you have a lovely 65th birthday this New Year's eve.... and you enjoy the flowers we bought you.

It's hard to say what we didn't like as I don't want to put anyone off using this lovely little B&B. For the most of it, it was a great choice, and a lovely host. The only thing for us, the heating was blaring, it was so hot we had to turn the radiator off. We cudnt turn down the bathroom heating. The bed was slightly tilted where the feet were higher than the head area. It was more comfy than it looked but in need of a new bed I would say.

Upon arrival we were welcomed by Pete & Lesley, they were ever so welcoming and friendly. They asked what time we’d like breakfast which was amazing too. The room was lovely and spacious with tea/coffee facilities and they even left us a box of celebrations and Pringles which was so lovely! Within walking distance from here was the town and wow it was picturesque lots of little quaint shops, cafes and places to eat. It was all lit up beautiful for Christmas and we didn’t have to worry about parking as we left our car at the B&B which was amazing! The next morning we went down for breakfast and the table was set we had a full English with a choice of tea/coffee, there was also a yogurt and cereals available and cold juice. The Fry up was 10/10 and they let us leave our car there whilst we went to explore for the morning, there is also little towns nearby within driving distance which are also beautiful. Overall it was a fantastic stay - would highly recommend! Thanks again for such a warm and welcoming stay! :)

A small sized B&B, located in a quiet cul de sac, not far from the centre of Bourton. Ideal! We were met by our host, the lovely Lesley. The room was great and had everything required for a comfortable stay, including a welcome chocolate bar and crisps. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast choices were numerous and plentiful; fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, a filling Full English, toast and preserves. We really enjoyed the open plan kitchen and diner that gave a homely feel and aided to our chat with our host. It was a pity that we never got to meet Peter, maybe next time. A great B&B, very highly recommended. A big thankyou to Lesley and Peter.

Although necessary to reach the first floor, the stairs may be a challenge to the less-able bodied.

The room was spotless, homely and in an amazing location for access to Burton on the Water. The addition of parking was great too as everywhere was within walking distance and parking seemed limited in the village. The hosts were super friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Added fan in the room too which came in super handy with the hot weather. I felt right as ease with the hosts. The breakfast was really good and yummy (tea, toast, cooked options, cereal, fruit etc). They even made extra care to accommodate for my dietary requirements (coeliac). Would absolutely recommend!

Nothing at all.

What can I say. One of the best I've ever stayed in. The hosts are super friendly. Our room was big with king size bed. Plenty of storage and very well decorated. The bathroom is one of the biggest I've ever seen for a B&B. On the bed when we got into the room were hand and bath towels. Soap, shower gel and shampoo. A small box of Pringles and a large bar of chocolate. Tea and coffee facilities in the room with biscuits. Breakfast. Fantastic. Choose the night before for the cooked options. On the table when we got there was a big bowl of fruit for 2. 2 yoghurts. Orange juice. Cereals are available. Tea and coffee are offered. Cooked breakfast and toast served as ordered. All in all I can't fault it. Oh off road parking at the side of the house for guests. We contacted the owners and asked if we could park earlier than the check in time. This was not a problem.

Leslie and Pete were the most hospitable hosts we have ever encountered. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was done in a professional way. The hosts offered valuable suggestions on excursions in the Cotswolds eg Burford, and assisted with our washing. The location was closer to the main centre than expected as it was only a few metres to the river which allowed a most enjoyable stroll to the centre. Bourton on the Water was one of our favourite visits on our seven week trip.

Absolutely everything was perfect and we left as friends!

Location is perfect. Car park available. Flexible check-in (we arrived earlier and it was ok). Lesley was so welcoming and explained everything very well. She also gave us recommendations of where to go and eat. Amazing breakfast taking into account allergies. Full fresh English breakfast cooked by a local, other options available, cereals, fruits, yoghurt plus a lovely chat in the morning. Treats in your fully equipped room. Super clean. Comfy bed. It’s all positive.

Perhaps a bit pricey but like everything in Burton on the Water. Nothing else to say. :)

Everything was excellent about this property. Location was spot on, short walk to village but peaceful out of the way. Lesley and Pete very friendly and Lesley even sorted out evening restaurant for us. My only niggle was the I found the bed slightly uncomfortable but I am very fussy with my mattress and other reviews say how comfy it is so don't quote me.. I would definitely recommend and stay again. Nice little extras in room, lovely touch and thoughtful.

Just the mattress but everything else absolutely fab.

We were given the room we requested with a large walk in shower, so pleased with the room, we had off street parking which was another big bonus, couldn't have been happier, breakfast was good freshly cooked and hot, it was a different setup to what we are used to, eating in the kitchen along side other guests but it worked really well and enjoyed our chats with the hosts Pete and Lesley and the other guests. The location was perfect, quiet yet within easy reach of everything Bourton on the Water has to offer would have no hesitation in going back to stay if we are back in the area.

What a wonderful place to stay!! Not only was the room impeccably clean, but the owners even left a box of chocolates on the bed with fresh towels and cold bottles of water for our arrival. The bathroom/shower was huge and there was so much space in the bedroom as well. Breakfast was amazing, offering a full English cooked by the owners themselves, tea and coffee and juice, yogurts and bowls of fresh fruit as well as cereal options too. After our outing on our second day there we returned to the room to find more ice cold water bottles had been placed on our tea/coffee tray in our room for us to enjoy and cool off with. The used mugs had also been swapped for two clean ones. What brilliant service!!

Could not find a fault if I tried!
