This was our second stay (first time was pre-pandemic)and next time we're in LIsbon this is definitely where we'll stay. This small, well situated hotel is on a quiet street, has comfortable beds and air-conditioning that actually cools the room (unlike many large hotels who appear to have a placebo thermostat in the wall and poor quality air in the room). The breakfast is amazing and the lounge/breakfast area is charming, comfortable and welcoming. I travel extensively and this may be my favourite small hotel world wide. It's not "fancy" and I love the clean, uncluttered aesthetic.

I wouldn't change a thing.

Very nice staff, I loved the complimentary cake and tea in the lobby, room with the view was lovely. My room was professionally cleaned daily. I am very picky with the mattress and pillow, and the bed was great and really comfortable.

I understand it is an older building, but there were ants in my room and you can hear everything from the other surrounding rooms. I had to wait until late at night for everything to get quiet to fall asleep and then wake up early because people would start waking up, use the toilet, and showers.

The staff was incredible and made our stay. They were so accommodating, full of recommendations, and had great energy. I had done lots of research, and the hotel met expectations. The location was perfect, on a quiet street but so convenient. It was beautifully designed, the showers were great, there were good breakfasts each day, and it felt like home.

It was wonderful. I had the chance to experience different rooms, and there are only a few small things to share: There are quite a few stairs to get to the top floors, so if needed, try and book a room on the first floor. The smallest rooms are cozy in comparison to the others. In some of the rooms, you can hear a little noise from neighbours.

Great overall experience. The room was clean, the downstairs lobby/kitchen area was very cute, and the staff were attentive and kind.

However, the breakfast — which ended up being 15 euros pp — was not included in the booking which was not clear when we booked. The breakfast itself was delicious. Finally, the room was smaller than we expected, with barely any walking space, but there was more than enough space to hang out downstairs.

This place was super cute, clean in an awesome neighborhood and the staff couldn't have been friendlier.

The only issue I had, and it wasn't really an issue because the staff held my suitcase downstairs for me, was that we stayed on the 3rd floor and there were tons of steps. My suitcase was big and I didn't want to lug it all the way up there since I was only staying one night. But they held it for me in the office and I was able to grab it no problem for my super early flight.

The location and the property were exceptional. You feel like you're staying, no, living in someone's beautiful home. Many creative and personal touches abound. But above all the staff were simply perfect!

It's the nature of boutique hotel and one that's in an old building that you don't have a lot of personal space. Noise is not a problem but you are aware of people coming and going, in the rooms next to you.

first of all, the breakfast each morning was outstanding. never have we opted to eat at our "hotel" while traveling because we wanted to experience the local foods. casa delivered the local foods and more. the kitchen/common area were artistically appointed and very comfortable with many different seating and dining areas to choose from. eclectic and elegant. clearly someone with an eye designed and furnished the spaces. the rooms were equally as unique. with a great mix of vintage and modern. bathrooms were spacious and immaculate. the casa could be a destination vacation in and of itself. we were pampered and made to feel quite at home by the staff.

late-night/early-morning return of noisy guests.

We loved everything about Casa das Janelas! The place is so beautiful and cozy, it is in the loveliest neighborhood (central still in a very quiet street) and the staff working there is so kind! Super nice breakfast! Special feature: the stunning view 🌞

We really loved everything, the only thing is that due to the very thin walls you can hear other guests and can be a bit noisy sometimes but we understand that is the price when you stay in a very old (but nice) building

Our stay in the hotel was beyond our expectation! We request in advance a room with a view and a bath and we got both! the view from the room was unreal as well as the room and the all experience in this hotel. The all vibe there is so chill and come, the stuff are nice and the breakfast is simple and great, you have the kitchen and the lobby 24/7 for your use , highly recommended!!

Breakfast was no doubt more than 100% worth

The view … not as I expected to have booked, looked straight through the open window in the bedroom of the neighbour. We paid A LOT specially for the view on the internet. If someone had told us these rooms weer no longer availaible (even though I booked 6 months ago), we would not have booked at Janelas COM vista. We paid 579 euro plus 60 euro for breakfast. Almost 200 euro per night for a room with a view of the dirty and loud street. After more than 2000 KMS of gravel, this was a disappointment.
