What a lovely stay in Lisbon! The staff really tries to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Starting with making the room ready earlier than check-in time. The rooms are spacious and well decorated (we had a little terrace, which is great). When we came back on the first night we found some port and pastel de nata in our room and on the second night a bottle of wine and some chocolates. Also, the staff made great recommendations as to where to go/eat during our stay. Would 100% recommend!

Really the only thing I can think of is that the bathroom could do with some better quality items. The faucet, shower rod and toilet roll hanger were a bit loose and the towels a bit ragged. But then again, the bathroom was light and spacious and had everything we needed.

Staying at this hotel was the best decision I made!! The hotel is so cozy and cute. I had a room with a balcony, and it was so precious. I want to especially thank Angelino, Hugo, and Joan for making my stay in the hotel and Lisbon a fantastic one. They were so friendly, insightful, and helpful! I was able to easily get to every destination I wanted to go to, thanks to their direction. Even when i locked my key in my room on the first night there, they responded to my whatsapp messages promptly and i was able to get into the hotel and my room without any issues. I can't say enough good things about them and this hotel.

The staff really make this property. Hugo met us at the door poured us a glass of port and made us feel very welcome. The property is beautiful very different to hotels we normally stay in, this felt like home from home. Hospitality is first class. Beautiful room better than the pictures. The information the staff provide is so helpful with great recommendations. Angelo and Jon were also on hand to help us with anything we needed. Bottle of complimentary wine in room, port and cake to return after a day out, this small gestures mean so much. Amazing comfy bed and beautiful bathroom huge room (room 3). Exceptionally clean. Thank you to the young lady at breakfast who served us sorry I didn’t get to chat, you seemed very busy but thank you.

Exceptional Stay at 1869 Príncipe Real in Lisbon My partner and I had an unforgettable stay at 1869 Príncipe Real in Lisbon. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive, especially Hugo at the reception. Hugo’s professionalism and kindness were outstanding, offering great recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. The boutique hotel's ambiance perfectly combined modern amenities with traditional Portuguese decor. Our room was beautifully furnished and spotless, providing a lovely city view. We highly recommend 1869 Príncipe Real to anyone visiting Lisbon and look forward to returning.

Beautiful and authentic boutique hotel with quite, well equipped, comfortable rooms and fantastic personal ( especial thanks to João and Francisco, who were super kind, attentive and helpful). Also, their room tea makers are amazing: a proper ceramic electric kettle makes a huge difference for me as a tea drinker ( especially in such a coffee drinking country as Portugal). Location is also perfect: very central and yet the street is quiet, so no party noises during nights. Breakfast was also in the pleasant little hall on the ground floor with good quality products and enough choice. Overall very lovely and relaxing atmosphere in this hotel, feels like home.

Only one tiny little point (which I would not have even noticed if I would not have had a toddler with me leaking everything and trying to eat everything from the floor) is that the carpet we had in our room, perhaps could be deep cleaned soon or to be replaced as with the closer look it’s quite used and not as clean as the rest of the room ( which is indeed very well cleaned and was sparkling)

The staff Jon and Hugo were amazing! They looked after us extremely well. They had great knowledge of things we could go see and helped us with booking activities. The room was fabulous and clean. We had a balcony which was lovely to sit out on. The breakfast every morning was delicious. Everything was fresh and it was way more than we expected for a "continental" breakfast. Location of the hotel was extremely convenient. Very short walk to nice places to visit and convenient for the metro. We would definitely go back to this B&B and would highly recommend anyone to book it.

I must say that the level of service we received at the 1869 Principe Real House was exceptional; in our years of travelling to many places as a family, I have never experienced such kind and professional service from the employees of the hotel. I honestly don`t have enough words of praise; they were there for us every time we needed them, happy to share advice on what to see, how to get to places and not to mention the thoughtful gifts we found in the room every day. As well, the decor of the rooms and overall ambient was great! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Lisbon. As well, location is just perfect, in a city center within easy reach of tons of restaurants around, yet super quite in the evening - for us this was a perfect choice.

location, large room with nice private balcony, quiet. the best was the owner/manager francisco, and the whole staff. i name him because we had the most contact with him, but everyone was wonderful. it’s run like an old fashioned bed and breakfast, with hands on help for any questions or needs.

only one small thing…we love a room refrigerator these days when we travel.

The staff was absolutely excellent from the day prior to my arrival till I left they were courteous and attentive. I had to leave early for a tour and they ensured that I had breakfast at 7:30am. And they asked about my dietary preferences as well. So it was excellent! The linen and the bathroom were excellent as well.

The room that I chose could be done better for the money charged. Also there was construction going on in the next building which was right outside the window. Lastly, the breakfast could have some more selection for the price being asked. Also the coffee in the room could be better.
