Breakfast was quite adequate. Plenty choice of beverages. Bed was very comfortable.I slept very well.

There was no full length mirror. Large landscape mirror behind TV no use to check hemline etc. Microwave not well placed for a small person- like me. Having to reach up to bring down hot food could be hazardous..7 blinds on windows. Only 2 work properly, not good. Lamp shade nearest door has been in some incident. Lining burst- not a good look. These are more cosmetic statements - rather than complaints but it's why I was a little disappointed. Cleanliness was excellent ,bed was comfy and the brief encounters I had with your staff were very positive.

1. Central location - in the old court building, right next to the Linlithgow Palace, close to restaurants and shops, few minutes walk to the train station 2. 1. Parking gate will open only when you dial a certain phone number, so you need to have roaming 2. Advertised as having Netflix, but you cannot use it if you don't have your own account

Location was excellent. Such a beautiful building, with a cute courtyard leading to our apartment no 11. Lovely mixture of items for breakfast and were replenished as and when requested. Lovely staff. Very friendly and informative. The place was great. Would recommend it to anyone visiting beautiful Linlithgow.

Some very very minor things. Namely I don't believe the vent in the bathroom worked. Instructions for the dishwasher would be handy also. It was trial and error to get it to work. Other than that nothing to concern anyone staying here.

This is amazing. Years of global travel and this is a top 3 hotel for sure. The rooms are stunning. Everything is high quality. The location is perfect. Linlithgow is lovely. There are excellent cafes and restaurants. The train station is a few minutes walk away. There are regular trains to Edinburgh (15-20 min) and Glasgow (30 min). Bed is good. Bathroom is good. Lovely desk. Fresh fruit.

Great central location in Linlithgow, 500 m to train to either Edinburgh or Glasgow . Very comfortable , clean , good quality fittings . Kitchenette has hot plate , few pots and pans , microwave . Enough to get a meal together . Very generous self cook breakfast supplied . Eggs, bread, pastries, cereal spreads and jams ,milk tea and coffee. Lots of history in town , plenty to keep you busy . Free parking directly in front of property behind barrier gate . Easy to find and access .

Nothing , it’s a great spot to have day trips into the cities.

The rooms are great and more functional than the average hotel room. The location is also great, right in the heart of the old town with all the best cafes, bars, and attractions in town, as well as the train station just round the corner offering super links to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirlingshire. There is parking and good road links for exploring other parts of Scotland. I can't fault the Court Residence and would have no hesitation in recommending this place. Thanks for the great visit

All staff, including the owners, were friendly and helpful. I walk w/ a cane & staff assisted me with luggage, showed me how to reach my suites without climbing stairs, and made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. Breakfast was provided, with milk, eggs & butter in refrigerator, cereal (oatmeal & a selection of dry cereals), tea, coffee, fresh fruit, bread & jam in basket. (I had never seen Kellogg's Crunchy Nut cereal & enjoyed it so much I bought a box at the Tesco store in Aviemore for my one-week stay at my timeshare in Coylumbridge!) Location was perfect - in the heart of Linlithgow. I was awakened the first morning by noise outside my door (my studio suite opened onto a courtyard). Three men dressed in kilts were having boutonnieres pinned to their jackets by a woman. Later, leaving the Court Residence Aparthotel and turning right on the High Street, I took photos of the wedding party assembled for post-wedding photos on my way to lunch at the Four Marys' Pub (built in the 1500s & named after four ladies-in-waiting to Mary Queen of Scots) where a beer festival was in progress. Later, a block down the High Street in the opposite direction I shopped at a charity shop supporting cancer causes where I found a number of small gifts to take back to friends & my staff, new items and collectibles. Linlithgow had many sights worth seeing that I didn't have time to see.

Written instructions for appliances and TV would have been helpful. The owner himself came to show me how to operate the items with which I was having difficulty, so I have no complaints. It was a lovely place to stay.

A fantastic fully serviced / full facilities apartment right in the centre of town. We had a hire car and the instructions for entering the car park were easy. We arrived quite close to the end of check-in time but were welcomed by the friendly host. We were pleasantly surprised by the facilities in the room and the breakfast supplied for us to make for ourselves in the room as well. The shower was fantastic, the bed was comfortable and we turned the heating on for a few minutes in the morning to get the chill out of the air and it was powerful and fast!

- Noise from neighbours (outside rooms) - Duvet too small for bed (small double- king would be better to ensure both parties are warm enough) - Disco coloured light around bed - impossible to find how to switch off and reduced sleep because of these flickering coloured lights - unclear what remotes relaTed to what function (lights, heating). - wipe down pleather sofa; cold and uncomfortable - second bed not made / plastic sheet over it and no duvet - asked for second duvet several times via booking.com message before got it on day 4 by going to reception

The layout. I was impressed with the swivel mirror-backed TV and the mood lighting. The windows were original sash and had interior hinged shutters. The fridge was stocked, with four eggs, 1L milk etc. There was a basket containing a breakfast selection. The staff were polite and helpful. Although it was close to the road, noise was not a problem. We stayed only one night but had time to explore what Linlithgow can offer. It was so charming with cobbled roads and much to see -a palace and the lake. A good selection of restaurants and pubs. A Tesco is a short walk away.

No oven but there is a microwave.
