The room was comfy! Bathroom a decent size. Food was lovely and a decent price! Everyone was willing to help :) Was here for a drifting event at Driftland so will use this hotel each time we travel up from Devon! :) Also, was very thankful for the double parking place to be coned off for the 3 nights due to us having a large vehicle and a trailer (with car attached). Thank you! :)

Breakfast starting at 7:30am on the Saturday as this made us have to rush to get to the event for 8am! The hotel was very warm!! But once we turned the heating off in the room and opened the window it was lovely :)

The staff at this facility was exceptional. Every one was so very kind and they took care of all of our needs. We originally booked a particular room, but they did not have that available. The next morning they upgraded us to a new room that exceeded what we had booked. On the night before check out, I was struggling with a bag on the stairs and a young man from the restaurant came to my aid and carried the rest of my luggage to the car. Breakfast we typical of this type of establishment, but the staff always made sure everything was fresh instead of leaving out stale of overwarmed eggs.

Absolutely nothing. We will be back if we're ever in the area again.

Staff went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could be. Everything was very clean and breakfast was lovely. We didn't have to long to get ready before heading out and so ordered food to the hotel before arriving, on arrival we saw signs that we couldn't eat in our room. The staff at the hotel set up a table with plates and cutlery in order for us to enjoy our meal. This was beyond expectations and we appreciated it a lot.

One lamp was broken with wires exposed. Small bits of rubbish and food found on the floor in the room (nothing extreme, just small pieces). The bedroom door was very difficult to close causing it to slam every time we closed it, we returned quite late and so we were very aware of the noise this made for neighbouring rooms

Bed was large and very comfortable! Room was basic but this suited our needs for one night perfectly.

The room was very dusty around/behind the furniture. There was a very suspicious wall "splash" stains next to the toilet when we checked in. Not sure if this has sunk into the wall but was pretty gross. Given we only stayed for one night we didn't address this with the reception. No power points accessible next to the bed is a pain if you want to use your phone in bed. We were on the ground floor right outside the exit (where the smokers in the pub went to smoke), so can see how this would be very annoying for early/light sleepers.

The room was really nice and clean but it was located next to some kind of outdoor generator which one could obviously hear from the room. We took this issue with reception where she assured us that the noise would stop once their restaurant closes. It did but obviously at a late time and unfortunately started again early once they where preparing for breakfast. We only had one night that time but had another night booked with them a few days later which we where assured that we would have another room for the second stay - which we indeed had.

We arrived at 20.30 on Saturday evening and registered at reception (there was a loud party going on). The lady (not particularly interested in us) forgot to tell us that the restaurant kitchen would have closed 10 minutes later...and we did not get dinner that night alas (all restaurants we visited in the following hour didn't serve dinner any more). I esplicitly asked the lady for a quiet room, got unfortunatly one with windows overlooking the parking lot and distrubed by the loud music of the party (not ideal after having travelled 2000 miles during the day)

The room was modern, with large flatscreen tv, hair dryer kettle etc. Biscuits provided which was great. Plenty of room in the wardrobe for clothes with coat hangers provided. Bed was large and comfortable. Room also had a desk and chair which was great. Breakfast let it down a bit as not much there unless you wanted a cooked breakfast. Overall a great stay and I would stay again without doubt- I would probably go out for breakfast though.

Location was perfect. Good sized room. Comfortable bed. Great selection of tea, coffee and biscuits. Lovely hot shower. Friendly reception staff and smooth check in. Appreciated disabled parking at entrance and free for guests.

Bathroom very limited for storing toiletries as no shelving nor in shower. Shower over-cady be good to consider. No breakfast chef for optional poached egg. Hot food appeared pre-cooked and heated in hot trays. No replenishing of fresh hot food when finished. Coffee or tea in tea cup and saucers, a distance away to carry to far away table. Would prefer option for a cafetiere.

Hotel was perfectly situated for a family event we were attending in the village, staff were helpful and friendly , rooms a good size bathrooms seemed to have been updated , beds comfortable and room very clean. We had booked lunch which was very good, portions a good size and tasty food served nice and hot. Plenty of public areas nice comfortable chairs in the lounge. Plenty of parking space.

The hotel is an old hotel and doesn’t have aircon etc we were fine but imagine it would be very hot in summer. We were a bit disappointed with the breakfast, small selection of cooked food no real choice (ie fried eggs only offered , there was bacon & sausage mushrooms & tomato) toast. I think after the lovely lunch we had there was an expectation of similar breakfast.

Room was very good and had all the facilities we needed. The dining area was very nice and so was the food. The staff were generally helpful and friendly. There was some minor issues but overall we like staying at the Adamson.

Although the staff were generally helpful and friendly some seemed to lack training. We had some wine at the bar before going for a meal. We ordered another glass at the table but the wine we got was not what we asked for. The waitress did not appear to know what a Tempranillo was, or a Sauvignon Blanc. At breakfast we had menus but after 5 minutes or more we had to ask for our order to be taken, a problem a couple of other tables also experienced.
