The staff were the best part of this stay! From the moment we arrived they could not do enough! They were so friendly and chatty! It sets up your stay when that is your first encounter. There was one lady overseeing breakfast and her customer service was exceptional. I observed how she spoke to guests and the relationship she had built with some of them as they were quick to tell her various excursions. Having worked in hotels for years, these qualities in staff are what can make a stay! Filipe I think is the name of the front of house that looked out for us on check out, again, so friendly, chatty and accommodating. Perfect end to a wonderful stay!

The Hilton Kilmainham is one of the best Hotels we´ve stayed in! The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds very comfortable. The swimming pool is great for the kids. Breakfast is excellent, something for everyone, great choice and delicious. Also the restaurant food is very good, for lunch or dinner, great menue. The staff is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We´ve stayed here many times and it was always fantastic. The location is also very good, just opposite the jail, which is absolutely worth a visit, some restaurants and shops nearby. If you want to go into the city, there is a bus stop within 3 minutes walk.

Traveling as a single mother with an autistic child. I asked to be placed in a room away from any noise and we were accommodated. The afternoon and evening staff were extremely exceptional, helping us with everything they could, from the reception to the bar. The manager Luis was very kind in welcoming us, giving us directions, and calling a taxi. The location is excellent, very close to the city center

The morning staff were not so welcoming, unfortunately. We lost a shirt, I asked if anyone had found it and they didn't bother to help. Both the reception and coffee shop staff made me feel like I didn't have the money to be there. It was disappointing.

The staff, from the reception staff to the bar/breakfast staff were all extremely friendly and helpful from the minute we checked-in until we checked out. Felipe at reception is exactly what every hotel reception needs! Cannot praise the food enough, dinner and breakfast were both amazing. The room was amazing, comfy bed and quiet hotel surroundings so we all had a great night's sleep. Travelled with my sister and 3 year old niece and we were all very happy and impressed with the hotel. We will definately be visiting the Hilton Kilmainham again if we are visiting Dublin.

Staff - extremely friendly and helpful, had a lovely welcome and departure. Room size - generous room size with enough space for travel luggage etc.

Bed - super uncomfortable, can tell they're old and heavily used. Need to be updated. Noise - our room was on the street side - you could easily hear the music / noise from the lobby bar/restaurant, and people in the street. Rooms - super old and outdated. As a result value for money isn't great (although note all accom in Dublin seems very expensive).

The staff are lovely, very accommodating. Decent price for room service. Decent tea & coffee facilities. Good location. Spacious rooms.

I will be honest I’ve had more comfortable beds. Pillows were too soft and the bed was a bit hard. But this shouldn’t factor out the rest of the good things for the hotel. Noticed as well there was a small bit of rubbish in our room from last people staying, the room could have been dusted better. As much as I am happy that the hotel allows dogs and that I brought my dog with me. I don’t understand why there was such a large fee. €55 was a bit expensive in my opinion for the dog to stay in a room with us.

The staff were superbly welcoming and gave information about the local area, museums and gardens. They gave us details about buses and trams to get to the centre (very easy and efficient bus routes). The breakfast was excellent, and again the waiting and bar staff were fantasitc, interested and engaged. The spa facilites were small but sufficient and a lovely way to relax after a busy couple of days walking around Dublin centre. Great just out of town location, so nice and quiet. Comfortable high quality beds and bedding. super clean, good sized room.

The room was really clean and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The staff were extremely friendly towards me and my partner and answered every question given. The on site restaurant had by far one of the best steaks I've had in a long time and the breakfast was perfect. The on site spa helped me and my partner relax and unwind after a long day of exploring the city and it made for a perfect end to the night.

The price was a bit steep for when I booked but it was a last minute booking so I can see why it cost as much as it did

We arrived extremely early (even before checking out time from the night before) as we had a hospital appointment…. It’s was a full house so the earliest room would be 2.30 which was no problem at all…we were going to have some lunch and head to the hospital appointment…. but when I asked receptionist to call a taxi to the hospital and she realised it was the childerns hospital we were going to she went above and beyond to get a room ready before we left so we cud freshen up…. The staff are outstanding and we will be back once again . Thanks so much Rachel

From check in to check out was amazing . Me and my fiancé we just had an amazing time! Room was fantastic! Very clean we don’t know who normally cleaned it but we’ll done ! Breakfast was so delicious wished I could fit more food 😞. Everything was so fresh and just amazing ! Lovely 2 Chinese lady’s on breakfast always smiling and so polite and professional ! Also Emily that really helped us by allowing us to take takeaway breakfast , because we booked a day trip away, we had a flight at 5 am and we would miss breakfast, so that was very nice of her. Dinner was just so amazing ! I wish we could just stay there forever ! Amazing cocktails (they do amazing non alcoholic drinks) big thanks for the waiter that normally served us and I think to the restaurant manager (we think sorry we didn’t see ur name) that was very accommodating and also offered us a complementary Christmas cocktail (that we think it was because of the wait… something on the 3 day was just strange….. they looked like they didn’t know they had to serve us 😐 and that’s why it toke us almost 4hours to actually finish our mean . But anyways ). thanks once more, for the cocktail , he loved it so much he had to have 2 cocktails the next day hahaha . Fantastic pool amazing staff . Thanks so much we loved Ireland and all the amazing people that served us and made our holiday the best ever!

Lady that checked us in wasn’t as welcoming. 3 day of our dinner we only waited 3hours and a half to finish our 3 course meal that normally would take us and hour and so.
