Great views of the Andes, the park of Cerro San Cristobal, and the city from my room! I was surprised and pleased by the crafts shop on the floor below the lobby, which was staffed by a very knowledgeable man who I believe had curated the items being sold. There were some absolutely beautiful textiles and ceramics made in Chile, so I was happy to be able to buy a few gifts there. I also liked the backyard area--I was a little unwell my first couple days and couldn't leave the hotel to go sightseeing, but I was well enough to leave my room and sit outside a bit, and it was nice to see some of the local birds. Finally, I massively appreciate that the staff was able to accommodate my request for late check-out on the day of my flight.

Facial tissues in the rooms would have been helpful! And it was surprisingly difficult to find more bottled water than what was provided in the room. Some of the rooms used for sessions of my conference were kept much too cold.

The breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff were right there any time they were needed. The food was varied and great.

We had no wash cloths nor water in our room on arrival. We found out the next day when talking to our companions in a different room that they had been provided. On the 2nd day the maids took the slightly used soap and didn't replace. We called for soap, water and one additional towel. We got a full complement of towels, including the wash cloth. But no soap or water. Had to ask again. That evening the TV wasn't working. We had to call twice for service. Much later he came in, rebooted the TV. It worked, but we had no English.

Really beautiful pool area. Lots of space. Sky bar at floor 21. Bed was comfy, shower great and air con worked. Blinds great to stop the morning sun for that lie in. Bfast was nice outside.

Seemed expensive but hadnt realised that Chile would be more expensive than Buenos Aires, Argentina. First time to South America.

My experience was great. From reception to the concierge, all services we helpful and efficient. The grounds were immaculate, and the staff was friendly. I felt like was an important guest at the hotel.

It was difficult to find from the street. I had multiple problems with uber drivers and it took me a couple of circles around the block to find it myself. That said, it was my first time in Santiago, and driving can be stressful in another country.

The staff were very pleasant and spoke English. Pool area was nice and food was available around the pool. Gym was very good with lots of equipment. Hop On Hop Off bus stops outside the hotel.

Paper cups in the room were disappointing. If you have a City View room you’ll need ear plugs due to loud traffic noise.

It's a great hotel traveling for work or pleasure. The open areas are beautiful and full of people to meet. Th einternet is great if you need to woirk and there are places in the lobby bar where you can have your face-to-face or virtual meetings.

Some parts of the hotel need renovation due to their age. However, the place is very clean.

Clean and comfortable. Pillows, mattresses, bed linen are great. Pool area is very nice with a good view. Friendly staff.

Unreasonable taxi fare. Other 5 star hotels in Santiago charge your much less. This hotel charges 50% more just for a very simple service of calling an official taxi. Location also not great.

Sheraton Santiago is a great alternative to stay in Santiago. All facilities are good; staff is nice and professional. All restaurants and lobby bar are cozy. Pool area is confortable.

The Concierge at Tango Esplendor, Juan. Everyone was very helpful and Juan was amazing. Very clean hotel. I would highly recommend the Tango Esplendor. Juan helped us with the activities and made sure everything went smoothly.

Not having a restaurant. The breakfast offering needed to be changed up.

When staying here - make sure you stay in the new part - so above floor 8. The first time I stayed here I was on the 11th. It was awesome. Than 2 weeks later I was on the 5th. NOT so good. Any surprised they did not offer me a better room or an upgrade or something but as I was travelling alone and only there for 2 nights I let it go.
