Me and my husband booked in for two nights, a little get away and i have to say that we had a lovely time, the bed was comfortable, we had everything we needed. We were very happy with the cleanliness of the room and the amenities in the room.

So its not that we didn't like this but we didn't really think much about it, the room was great but we had to share a bathroom, i don't see this as a fault with the hotel or even something we didn't like as it was clearly laid out in the booking, however i personally didn't like leaving the room in the night to go to the toilet! It was next to our room and the building was lovely and i felt safe it was purely i personally didn't like that part. However it would not put me off staying there again!

Excellent furnished property throughout with great rooms and good value for money. The shared facilities are second to none and kept to a fantastic standard. It’s in a good location and short walk or Uber/taxi into town or to the Royal Derby Hospital. I’ve stayed numerous times for various reasons and would recommend to anyone. Also breakfast is included which is a great pull!

I stayed here over 10 times and it’s always maintained a high standard. Things are always being fixed throughout. The only thing this time was the vending machine would only accept correct change which I didn’t have. However there is a convenience store around 6 min walk away.

Great friendly host, beautiful building, gorgeous rooms and spotless clean. We booked this same day last minute because we had to be at Derby Hospital early the following morning and it was a really nice surprise we had managed to get such a lovely hotel last minute. Breakfast was good, beds were really really comfortable. Only grievance was that the bathrooms are shared BUT there are plenty of them so was always at least one available :) would definitely stay again

The room was very clean, the beds were very comfortable and the sink in the room with toiletries was very useful for us especially not needing to leave the room for the sink when getting ready as a women. The breakfast was also very nice and the lounge area. The shared bathrooms were very clean and of a good size. The location is very central within walking distance of the town. The tv is huge and the wifi is excellent.The customer service was of excellent standard :)

The only thing I would say is I did not like the layout of the room was bit awkward with the twin beds being one behind the other, also the room was very cold for me and my friend but saying that the receptionist went out of his way to help any way he could.

Breakfast was nice and easy as I could sit where I wanted too every thing was accessible and cooked fresh. The team was freindly polite and very helpful. The room had great facilities including a microwave and fridge, tv was huge!!! Had a sink in the room too

I wish the room had been onsuite and not a shared bathroom also no lift (probably due to the age) so slightly difficulty in going up stairs

- Really friendly staff and really made an effort to cater for us, including making sure there was breakfast for a vegan and celiac. - Beds comfortable and clean - Parking available with plenty of space, I was able to fit a LWB van in there and has CCTV.

- Only real complaint is not having your own bathroom per room, however the shared bathrooms were well kept and clean.

Lovely place, I was a little worried about the shared bathroom but it was fine. I was very happy with my stay. They even allowed me to leave my car in their car park after I checked out. Breakfast was great and the black pudding was especially tasty.

A toilet seat was broken but with the choice of three bathrooms it wasn't a problem

Lovely old style building with excellent value for money and top quality breakfast served.

Times for Breakfast was just a little bit earlier for me than I'd ideally like been before 8am. Check out was also a little earlier than I'm used to at 10am. But not to be taken as a complaint by any means.

Washbasin, Kettle, fridge, microwave in room, all of which i used. Convenient car parking, comfortable bed, helpful staff. Breakfast was all one could ask, tasty, swiftly delivered and plenty of choice.

They packed a lot into a single room, but it was a little cramped on space- but can overlook this as it was very good value 3 night stay.

Really Friendly, made extra effort to ensure I had what I needed as a Vegan traveller, the accommodation is friendly and welcoming and a beautiful building. Not far from the town, great parking.

It was excellent, cant fault it for the price. Host was very nice and the staff too.
