The location

The room was dusty and musty smelling and there was mold in the corners of the bathroom.

I love this property, great location, walking distance to the beach, restaurants and sights. very upset with staff, my reservation was a pay at the property one. my card was charged two days before our arrival date. this caused my card to be charged before I had the money in that Acct. found out my reservation was cancelled, I had to rebook our reservation and was charged an additional 700.00 for the rebooking. I tried to reach the manager, my call and email was ignored.

Let's be honest - the building is aging. It's not the Hilton in Miami. It IS being well cared for. Our room had been updated and was clean. The king bed was very comfortable - better than our own! The hotel is very close to the Ft Pierce Inlet, within walking distance to many bars and restaurants. The pool was spotless, and the lounge chairs were very comfortable. They offer very nice towels for the pool at no charge. We met the maintenance person, who was very friendly and was happy to answer our questions about where to eat and what to see. The cleaning staff was extremely helpful and kind. Water pressure was great and there was plenty of hot water for our showers - something that some places we've stayed at have lacked. The hotel is situated just off A1A in a mostly residential neighborhood, and we always felt safe there. The beaches are either a walk away, or a short drive away. My wife and both agree that our stay there was a great value for the money. Should we go back to Ft. Pierce in the future, we'll stay there again.

It's always humid near the beaches - we live on the water in SW Florida and know that. The air conditioner kept us comfortable temperature wise, but was unable to keep up with the humidity.

We liked the size of the Royal Inn. The location was excellent near the beach, bar and restaurants. We had interactions with other guests who were helpful in informing us about activities we may like. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The fan in the bathroom did not work. After a shower is was very hot and steamy. It would have been helpful to have a mirror in the room besides the one in the bathroom. It would be very economical and easy to add a full length mirror to the bedroom area. With two women getting ready a second mirror would be helpful.

Comfy quarters, good view of ocean. clean and nice fridge/micro combo. Extra sink in bedroom seemed nice at first until I slammed into the corner and got a nasty bruise thigh high. It sticks out too far as an afterthought in design. For a non-smoking facility, the maids right below our balcony terrace thought it was funny to light up as we tried to enjoy our coffee and view...not pleasant. For the short time we were there, our needs were otherwise comfortably met.

Clean with easy check in/check out perfect no frills stay the night in an easy spot near the water no hassle

Couldn’t really see the ocean from the second floor, but ocean facing doesn’t always mean ocean view I guess

Location was great and not far from the beach-Our inital room was rather small and not really worth the price, but the front desk went above and beyond and moved us into a family suite that was worth everything.

The rooms where small and the hotel didn't match what was advertised or looked like any of the pictures.

excellent location and super kind ladies who worked the desk and did the cleaning. the balcony on the room was perfect for coffee and listening to the town sounds and feeling the salty air, even though not on beach. i could see the tops of big ships as they passed, however.

Pillows and sheets were very old musty and super stained. didn't make me feel very clean. also, they were not comfortable at all.
